Chapter Text
“I love and accept the person that I am.” Atsumu says, absentmindedly as he goes through his morning skincare. It’s habitual, at this point. “I radiate positive energy, I think positively.”
Kiyoomi stops in the doorway, leaning against the frame. A smile plays on his lips as he takes in the image of his boyfriend in his fluffy bunny-ear headband.
“Whatcha lookin’ at?” Atsumu huffs.
“Nothing, nothing.” Kiyoomi raises his hands in surrender. “You just look cute in your ears.”
Atsumu turns around, letting Kiyoomi cage him in against the sink. “I offered to buy ya one too, but ya said no.”
“You’re too cute, it would put me to shame.” He smiles, placing a gentle kiss to the blond’s exposed forehead.
“Oi!” Atsumu shoves Kiyoomi away. “I’ve still got serum on.” He grumbles.
“Oops.” Kiyoomi does not sound apologetic in the least.
“I deserve to be happy, I deserve to be loved.” Atsumu hums, pulling out his jade roller. “My challenges are opportunities to grow.”
It’s true. Every challenge Atsumu has had to face ended in learning something new. He’s grown a lot. It’s so strange to think only a year ago, he could barely look his reflection in the eyes.
“You forgot the most important one.”
“Hmm?”
“You’re beautiful.” Kiyoomi wraps his arms around Atsumu’s torso, pulling him into his chest. He rests his face in the crook of his neck, pecking a few kisses onto the warm skin.
Atsumu sets his roller down in favour of holding Kiyoomi’s hands around his waist and carding a hand through his messy curls. “How could I forget when ya remind me every five seconds?”
“It’s my favourite pastime.” Kiyoomi mumbles.
Atsumu rolls his eyes. “I’ve noticed.”
“Not my fault you’re beautiful.”
Atsumu sighs, tilting his head back to rest on Kiyoomi’s shoulder. “When did ya become such a sap?”
“I always have been. For you.”
“Good.”
“You smell good.” Kiyoomi hums, face still buried in Atsumu’s neck.
“It’s called soap. Ya should give it a try.”
“And, we’re done.” Kiyoomi pulls away abruptly, turning on his heel.
Atsumu can’t stop laughing as his boyfriend stomps out the bathroom. “Love ya too, Omi.”
“Shut the fuck up.”
