He heard a thunderous heart dropping roar. Kakashi concerned climbed to the top of one of the trees. The next thing he saw frightened him. He saw a large monstrous snake heading straight for the village hidden in the leaves. "This must be the work of orochimaru.." kakashi theorized. Kakashi just barely notices something is off before the giant snake all but knocks him off his feet, slamming him into a tree. For a few seconds, the man is sure hes about to be eaten alive by this thing but then he feels the snake... nuzzling him? "... What? You aren't trying to kill me?" He asks, so confused. But the snake doesn't seem to respond other than backing up and staring at the man as he slides down the tree to sit on a branch. "... Well okay then?"
Kakashi is nearly dazed as the snake licks his face. He ends up covered in saliva and staring incredulously at the snake. "... Huh. Alright then." He hesitantly reaches out to pet the snake and laughs a lightly, a little hysteric, when the snake lets him.
'I think i've made a freind.'

Jormungand started to coil his body around itself and gently placed Kakashi on the top of his coils using his tail. He then closed his eyes as Kakashi pets him. "How do I explain this to the village." He mumbled growing tired from the body heat the snake had. He fell asleep leaning against the snakes head.
