It was a new day, one day of work, one last day of suffering.
the door opened, the sound of laughter and happy singing filled the daycare
light seem to fill the place, as the little ones jumped and laughed like all the others days
but their favorite Solar Bot wasn't as warm as past days , and the little ones soon noticed it, something was very wrong with their beloved animatronic
Sun tried to keep attention on the toys, or the new songs they had to play, or even new crafting ideas they pull up out in the comfort of the darkness of last night
but it was hard to miss.. they were broken
both inside and outside.. their loop was hanging a bit too far out , as the tube keeping it in place was bend
their arms were way too cracked too, bumpy and dirty
and of course, the ray, it was missing..
Sun kept it close to them, not wanting to lost any more of themselves to that beast they had to call man
Sun was too scared to even walk out of their hiding place, they waited to the last minute to walk inside the daycare, falling to recharge
so they didn't move much, yet they tried, they tried to keep their act, keep acting
the show must go on..
but for how long? How long could they keep the lie?
they've been lying for so many days now.. it felt like forever..
they felt too broken to keep going..
and what for? for humans who didn't even care to check on them?
the littles ones, Sunny adores them, with all his wires and deep to the core.. but. Do they even care? What are they to them? just machines?.. just another one of many?..
Their little sunbeams, they did ask, but they were curious littles ones , of course they would notice their broken body, but also noticed the lack of emotions
children can be quite silly, but they also care deeply..
Sun was not drawing with them, they in fact, was not even looking at their art as they always did..they were just staring at nothing, white milky eyes lost in whatever was happening inside that mind.. ignoring every tug at their pants, or any poke at their arms.. and any cry of attention..
Sun was tired.. so tired.. tired of feeling useless.. of feeling unwanted.. of feeling like he could be just replaced and no one would care..
their mind was so clouded , so lost in other ideas in their busy mind..that when they felt a tug in their loop , they just looked up in fear, rays all the way inside the faceplate, as their voice box let out a pitiful whine, and then, they just broke down ..
they curled on themselves, hiding their head with their arms, just wanting to disappear, to be in a safe , quiet, and dark place, away from everyone, their voice glitched with whines and cries..
they felt so unwanted , so undeserving of anything.. so much so that they ignored every sound around them.. it was just too much to take..
but one sound, made their body stiff, one sound, made them stop every glitched text in their mind.. and just.. look up..
they looked up slowly, and turned to their back..
there it was.. a little sunbeam..one of their dear rays of light.. crying..
little Matias was crying so much.. tears overflowing in his small face, he called once more , he called their name..
Sun looked at their little red face.. their tiny body shivering and in their arms.. a Sunnydoll.. one missing an arm.. the arm was on the boy’s hand.. it was broken… little sunny was broken, and this made little Matias sad..
Sun stared at them as they cried once more.. they cried their name..
and finally snapped out of their clouded state, they got close to the boy, and finally smiled..
Sun smiled , a warm , real smile, moved a hand to their small sunbeam
“im sorry.. im here now..i'm here.” they spoke softly , in a lovely soft low tone..but somehow it made itself know in the sea of sound that was the daycare.. and the little boy hear them
finally stopping their cries, only for a moment, to see the warm smile of their favorite character, the little one rushed to hug them, still crying but now less loudly..
Sunny held him close.. and then another hug, from the new girl, she too, was crying Sun’s name, as she hugged their right arm tightly
Then another one hugged them from behind, little Toby hugged their back..
Now Sun was being holded by almost 30 childs, some crying ,others begging Sunny to not be sad anyone and others just added to the chain of hugs..
the yellow bot looked around , at first confused, but now, a bigger smile was on their round, cracked face, they laughed softly
“...Thanks you.. Thanks you.. I.. I love you all so much..” they managed to finally say, once the overwhelming feeling was less intense ..they could see it now.. maybe staff did not like them..
maybe adult hated them
but the little kids.. the most honest being on the planet, they loved them.. they all, 30 kids, little ones and even older kids of 10 years olds, they all came to show their love when they most needed it..
Maybe they were just a bot.. an overpriced nanny.. but they were good at their job and the moments, the memories, and the gifts they were given each single day , was good to stay positive, to smile again !
Sun’s rays spinned on their head and they laughed loudly
“oh! I love you all so much! my little Sunbeams! my sunshines!!”
everyone was now happy, the ones crying of course needed more time to be cheerful again, but at the end of the day,, everyone in the daycare was smiling once again
Sun still felt the worry of what could happen once the door finally closed.. but right now, their chest was filled with happiness..
and the little ones didn't stop there.. no, their golden hearts didn't forget the other side of the Bot..
Moon was met with many hugs too, and some drawings to cheer him up! He felt surprised
but also warm in their core.. this was the little reminder they needed to keep fighting..
he too, was loved, he too, would be missed
so they had to stay strong, for their littles ones..

the glamrock were just finished with one of their usual songs, a routine now old, they sang for the people coming in, they showed what they could do, then, they could sing again, or in this case, prepare for a big birthday
it normal days, the gang would be in their specific marketed places, or posing for pictures, and today was almost like any other days
but chica had some “ troubles” in her performance, so she had to be taken so be fixed in a hurry.. or that's what everyone thought
she was all fine! perfect in fact, not a single screw out of place, but she was here with a bigger reason..
“ don't you think its odd?~” she asked in her usual cheerful tone
the young tech man looked up, the one who was supposed to look after the daycare attendant ,looked up, confused and quite annoyed, as he was asked to leave his break to check on her, as the rest was busy with a strange malfunction of various staff bots, they just happened to be not working anymore! and staff needed them to be there for any guest in need!
so there he was. all alone, with the cute,silly and lovely Chica
“I just think its odd.. you were supposed to be with the daycare guard right now~”
“well.. yeah but.. you had trouble and.. the rest its busy..” his tone was dry , as if he didn't wanted to even mention the daycare..
and she knew exactly why.. she could see it. his eyes showed it,, guilt , so she pushed again
“well, i'm all fine! just a silly bug! you guys worry over us a bit too much~ like! isn't there any other bots that need ,mmhh I don't know.. actual repairs?~ “ she smiled more, as she sat on the desk
her cheerful tone only getting more chirpy as she spoke , but she was far for feeling chirpy
“ah.. you can't know that, a-and, you are actually important.” there is was again, such dry almost neutral voice..
“well.. I do have eyes. don't I? and.. I can see when a friend needs help..” she got closer to his screen, forcing him to look at her
“.specially, when it's so obvious!!~ hah~ “ she smiled more, eyes glowing softly “ you were there last night ! you saw what happened to Moon! ~ that was.. quite a strange bug.. don't you think?~”
he looked at her eyes.. his hand shaking., he remembered it.. how everyone was confused.. how *He* brush it off..
and how his co workers asked about it after some hours..
Wasn't he supposed to keep Moon in tip toe shape? wasn't he! the one having to keep trouble out of the daycare?
after the almost lawsuit they had a few years ago with strange behavior of the animatronic, he was asked to keep a close eye on it..
and he failed to do so..
he tried to ignore it.. he tried to enjoy it! the upgrade, the feeling of power over a machine..
but he couldn't.. no, he just couldn't
the worry over what he just did was eating him alive..
“quite a big bug also~..I wonder.. what are you doing to fix it?~” she asked in a high tone.. then she got closer to his face
“..I do wonder.. are you actually qualified for this job? I can trust in you? ~ can fazbear trust you?~” she looked into his eyes.. filled with fear, as she was almost all over him
she was big.. and she could be as scary as the rest if she wanted to.. she giggled a bit, then finally moved away from him and stood up, giggling once more..
“..oh, look at that! its time for you show!~ you should be ready for yours too~ ”
he looked up at her.. shaking..
“..what?”
“ hehe~ be ready!~”
she walked away, moving her beak in excitement , the young tech could only stare, confused and worried..
Was he really good for this job?.. how long would it take for more people to realize he failed so badly?
he dared to mess with the most expensive animatronic in the place, aside of DJMM..
he dated to mess with the one animatronic everyone accepted to leave alone..
he was terrified, he would lose his job..
and so the hours passed by..
the children had fun
there was music playing loudly
and everyone had to keep the show going..
they did so, til the door closed
everyone was doing their usual routine..
some in their rooms, waiting
some in their tubes, recording
and some cleaning up , playing along
the lights turned off, it was closing time…
Sun managed to stay hidden , pretending to be busy, oh so busy cleaning up..
They managed to save enough battery for tonight..
“Are you ready?”
“yes.. I’ll be fine Sunny”
“..please .. follow the plan ..”
“..I will.. I promise.. no more fights…”
“...and..no more running away..”
“this ends now..”
Sun called their wire, and soon, they stood in the dark, waiting,, they saw the man looking for them.. thankfully, he wasn't smart enough to look up, at the ceiling
in a very small area, they hid there..and waited til it was time..
he looked at their inner clock.. finally , 1 am
Moon moved out to a near wall, and made his way to the hallways
There, after so long, he walked ..
just walked.. the distant music sounded around him. as the bells on his shoes calmed him down.. the light looked blurry.. their body felt heavy.. but he continued to walk..
he walked to the arcade.. and once inside, they took a moment
he looked at the tunnel, the darkness looked back at him.. and ne nodded ,
he sent an emergency alert.. an intruder in the arcade.. and waited
every guard got the message.. every single one..
and since it was an alert, everyone nearby had to get moving
Moon stood there, in the darkness..
the silence felt comforting.. and then ..
“you sure are a dumb.. dumb robot..”
he stood there.. smiling..
“ you dumb thing.. you really are getting on my nerves..”
silence
“tsk.. too scared to speak up huh? Are you ready to cry too? HUH?! beg for help?!”
silence
“.... you stupid machine.. get back to the damn daycare.. now..”
Moon only stood there.. in silence
the guard walked closer, getting even more agitated
“ do as I say! you piece of shit!! GET BACK THERE!”
Moon didn't moved an inch, just stared at him
his tall figure looked down at the man screaming
“ YOU FUCK! MOVE! MOVE! YOU DO AS I SAY!! MOVE YOU STUPID THING!”
he was closer now, knuckles white , face red.. eyes filled with anger..
Moon stood there, then.. he looked up just a moment.. one single moment, and finally , smiled.
“.if you own us.. if you want us back.. then take us there..” it was a whisper , one soft, static whisper..
but it was enough to send this man to the edge
and just like many nights, he punched them in their chest, Moon managed to jump back, falling to the floor..
he cover his face , as he can hear the man screaming on top of them,
he stayed there, not fighting back, only covering their face with his arms
he tried to hear around them.. he tried to control themselves, following the plan.. they had to put on an act, but a sudden grip at his legs made him look at them man
he was lifting one of his legs.. in a way it brings back memories.. bad memories..
Moon finally starts to shiver , ready to use his energy left to kick this man away from them!
And then! another sound
“What the hell are you doing?!”
there it was, the four other guards from the plex , and one tech guy.. they all looked at the scene confused
“get the hell away from the robot! now!” one of them yelled
“what are you even doing man?” other questioned out loud
the old guard looked at everyone.. and in his rage, he twisted the leg , messing with Moons pains receptors in his hips , making him whine loudly
“ MIND YOUR DAMN BUSSNESS! YOU FUCKS!”
Moon hissed in pain, as he tried to twist his body to get away
the other guards, seeing the state of Moons body, finally stepped in
they jumped to stop him, the guard lose grip of Moon leg, seeing how his co workers were determined to get him
the moment Moon felt free of the grip, he kicked as hard as he could on the mans chest, then it didn't took long to hold him down
two male guards were close to him, he tried to attack them, but one punch in the face and he was under control..
finally, Moon could just move away , he felt one person moving him ,he hissed at them, but couldn't fight back, he was running low in battery, fast.
The young tech moved him to the main dance floor, away from everyone, then looked down at the animatronic’s body.. he helped on this.. he was guilty of this.. he had to make it right..
Moon felt his body starting to give up, but he was awake long enough to hear the man, the horrible human that tortured them , bark at everyone, asking, no, demanding to be set free..
Moon turned his head, wanting to see the look on his face, as the realization that he fuck up hitted his thick skull , the look on his face soon changed, as no one cared to hear what he said..
the guards looked down at him, annoyance, anger and even disgust for his attitude, no one cared for him anymore..
“you are a madman” one said loudly, making the man finally quiet down
he, truly, fucked up badly..
but he wouldn't let himself be caught, once he was lifted from the floor, he kicked one of his co-workers legs and started to run to the door
he did not cared for anything anymore
he ran as fast as he could, looked behind him, he was getting chased!
he looked up front, and there it was again
his worst nightmare
that mechanical alligator , he stood in the entrance, growing , looking down at him, eyes glowing with rage
and finally! after holding back for so long! he took this man by the neck of his clothes and lift him up
eye to eye, he growled again
“.. this! is what you get, for messing with us” he opened his mouth , and moved the mans face close to him
and as he could hear his cries of help, he swing him to the floor, the loud thumb echoed in the room
Monty looked down at the man, as he cried on the floor.
yea.. Chica was right, this was way better than chop his head off..

3pm the police showed up, and took the man in handcuffs, away from the establishment
DJ had cameras on his eyes, so they managed to have a clean recording of the way this man was behaving.. it wasn't what the company wanted
Plus, the young tech spoke against him, and admitted to helping mess with the Animatronic, he told them what they did, all the damage, and the way he also was planning to steal them from fazbear to have them all to himself..
The damage on Moon's chest, arms and face was quite expensive, that only added to his charges , aside from hurting a co-worked and failing to do his job correctly ..
Fazbear asked the new girl to remplace the other tech, after all, she was in charge of DJMM , and the big guy was looking fine, no screws missing , no bugs showing up ..
She promised to take good care of them , and once the man was taken away, she took the Solar jesters to P&S
Sadly, there wasn't much she could do in one night alone.. she managed to get a remplace for Sun’s broken rays and re-adjust the eyes back to where it was before.. but the leds were cracked too, the eyes wouldn't work properly ..but they could still see
She did as much as she could and choosed to take them to their home.. the daycare, with the help of Monty of course..
There, he took them to their charging station, in a small room and waited for them
He didn't want them to wake up alone..
He stood there by their side til it was 5:30 , Moon opened his eyes confused and looked around.. his eyes flicked for a moment before he jumped in place, he was back in the daycare.. he wasn't in the arcade anyone.. did.. did he..?.
“hey hey chill !”
Moon turned around , there it was, Montgomery gator, sitting near them, with a soft smile on his face..
Moon took a moment to process what happened few hours ago..then relax, their whole body flopped in the wall
“.. he's away now?”
“ yuuup.. cops got em.. he's far away now..oh and before you even think ‘bout it! the nerdy guy was also taken away.. seems like he's in big trouble too”
Moon looked even more relaxed by this,, he closed his eyes for a moment
“mmh.. it's been so long since I charged here.. it feels different..”
“.. how so? “ Monty sat in the walls too, neat him
“.. it feels.. faster..faster than the wires from our room..”
“ Well, it's a charger, so duh! it has to be fast! “
“heh.. guess you are right..”
there it was.. the comfortable silence.. the peace in the darkness . they felt safe once again…
“... I'm sorry for what I said..”
“huh?”
Moon looked up at Monty.. his red eyes glowing like magical rubies , now filled with a calming aura , he whispered
“I'm sorry.. I .. was stressed out.. but..I shouldn't have lashed to you like I did…I.. we are thankful for your help..”
Monty felt the same warm feeling of that night again , while he was getting lost in thoughts, he scoffed and looked away, not wanting to act dumb again
“ah.. its ok, I get it,,, you two were in hell all this time.. I… I wish I could have known sooner”
Moon looked down, hugging is legs close to his scratched chest
“..to be honest.. I didn't expect anyone to care.. I.. I thought you guys only care for yourself.. I.. didn't think you and Chica would come up with a plan to help us both..”
Monty looked at them for a moment, the sadness on those pretty eyes.. he huffed
“..I'm sorry we give that impression.. but.. you are as important as we are.. they mess with you, they mess with us too.. and.. animatronics have to look for each other.. we can’t lose any more people..”
Monty turned his head away, as he felt his own sadness come back..the blue jester moved his lanky hands to his arm and gently patted it
“..well.. thank you..”
Monty looked back at them, that smile.. such a sweet smile.. he doesn't think he ever saw Moon smiling like this before..
he wants to see it happen more..
“heh.. you're welcome..”
they stood there, smiling at each other..before Moon’s inner clock alert him, it was time to open , they walked away from the small room into the big doors,, Monty had to leave soon, but before he did so, he looked at that pretty face once more
“hey, does this means Im not banned from the daycare anymore?~”
“mmh~” Moon pretended to think about it then he finally replied
“yes.. yes you can be back here.. just please, no more broken hats”
“heh! promise!~” he lifted one hand, then finally opened the doors to leave
“see ya soon!~”
“.. see you soon Monty..” he waved at him.. then closed the door at looked at the empty desk
“...yea.. its finally over..”
“like he promised!” sun voice spoke up, tired, but happy
“..like he promised”
they walked to their room, and sitting in the balcony, they looked down at their daycare.. finally.. the torment was over.. finally.. they felt relaxed.. only for a moment.. they enjoyed the silence..
“...we are fine..”
