   Summary

   SkekTek's experiments on the Crystal of Truth go awry. Rather than learning about essence, the skeksis find themselves having to deal with an entirely new problem, completely separate from aging and eventually dying. Inconveniently, the problem requires all else be put on hold until it gets solved.

   Issue 1: This will require a certain degree of teamwork, which isn't something skeksis are known for.
   Issue 2: There are other forces at work, which are neither benevolent nor nonviolent. Dying of old age may soon be the least of their worries.
