Work Text:

He was cheating him. For the blue haired boy, accepting that was worse than death. He knew his sun was cheating him with someone else but he never thought Boruto would can be this brave enough to cheat him on their bed while there was still chance about Mitsuki busted them! Mitsuki thought his presence in this home would be enough to disincentive him to do that but it seemed it wasn't because he was still cheating him with another boy! Mitsuki didn't bit his lips or wink his eyes. He just watched his 'lover' while he was fucking another boy in their bed.

Mitsuki didn't know why he was still keeping to ignore Boruto's betrays but he wanted to do that. Boruto was his sun, his light after all. The worst thing could happen was not Boruto's cheating him with another boy -or he should've said other boys? Because this boy wasn't the same person with the last one- the worst thing could happen was abondoning him. He couldn't live without a sun. A moon without sun was basically nothing. Mitsuki's heart made feel him as if there was a bomb inside of his heart. He didn't know when it was going to explode but it was certain to explode someday.

Mitsuki looked the ring on his own ring finger. There was a golden ring the shine weakly -like their relationships sparkle- . Then he looked Boruto's hand to see the ring but...It wasn't there...Boruto was no more love him. His behaviours were not full of love like before. He was still smiling to him, rubbing his cheek and kissing him but it was different than before. These actions were no more sincere. Mitsuki knew that Boruto didn't love him anymore. He was caring Mitsuki, Mitsuki was important for him but these feelings were no more love. His lips were trembling and clenching his fist with sadness but he didn't make a sound and left the home.

It was a cloudy and rainy day but Mitsuki didn't care either way. No soul was outside because of the rain, and Mitsuki liked that. So that no one could see him when he was about the crying. He went to park and sat down a bench. It was wet but he didn't care. He was getting wet because of the rain but he didn't care it either. He had been neutral to the rain before, but now he liked it. It was as if the sky was crying instead of him. Mitsuki took his head between his arms with sadness. He could still hear their voices inside of his head. He tangled his hand to his hair and pulled it for inflicting pain to himself. Boruto had entered his heart like a disease and now he couldn't get it out.

He wanted to tell it someone these. He wanted to talk about it with someone. He could always talk with his brother, his parent or his caregivers but he didn't want them to know how pathetic person Mitsuki was. Mitsuki had caught him dozens of times before, but he always pretended that he hadn't seen him or didn't know anything. When Mitsuki caught Boruto while he was cheating him, Mitsuki dreamed that Boruto would be regret and never did it again. Then Mitsuki was going to forgive him and they were going to happily ever after.

"I really am pathethic..."

Mitsuki whisphered to himself. Boruto was cheating him and Mitsuki was tolerating him as if he did something unimportant. Mitsuki sat in the park trying to calm himself down, forgive Boruto, until he thought Boruto's 'work' was over, and then went home.

"I'm home."

Mitsuki let Boruto know he was home and went to their bedroom. Boruto was there and it seems he just left the shower and he was getting clothes on. There was a smile on his face. He seemed happy...?

"Whats's up 'tsuki."  Boruto came closer and pulling him towards to himself for placing a little kiss on his lips which they separated after a moment. Boruto shoot a glance to Mitsuki's clothes.  "Why are you wet?"

"Today was a rainy one."

"Then..."  Boruto removed the obi with his free hand and leaned towards to his ear.  "You should get rid of your wet clothes, right?"  Boruto whisphered to him while touching his pale, smooth and soft torso. Mitsuki was like no one else and Boruto knew it. Orochimaru designed his fiance well. Mitsuki was strong, clever and beautiful. Sometimes Boruto was wondering if he deserved wonderful person like Mitsuki or not.

But something was different today.

Mitsuki didn't give any positive reaction to Boruto's touches. He refused the touches by helding his hand.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes."

Mitsuki replied with zero emotion. He wanted to smile Boruto but he didn't feel like that. He couldn't do that, at least for now but Boruto seemed like he waanted some kind of explaination. So he took a deep breath and separated from his fiance's arms. Mitsuki was acting weird, he didn't smile Boruto when he saw him. Or did Mitsuki see what happened before...? Boruto tried to calm himself down. If Mitsuki would've seen something he would definetely told it to Boruto.

"I am pretty tired today."

"Oh...Okay."

Boruto exhaled in relief. Mitsuki didn't know what happened today.

"Don't you have a favorite movie on TV today? I'll get some snacks, and you can start watching the movie."

***

After a terrible few hours, it was finally time to sleep. Mitsuki was very pleased with this because it meant that he wouldn't have to talk with Boruto at all for at least eight hours. Mitsuki went to the bedroom with Boruto. The moment he saw the room, Mitsuki felt like he was going to blow the room, especially the bed, apart. Boruto was going to bring whoever he wanted into the room and sleep with him, and Mitsuki was going to stay here as if it wasn't enough that he was quiet?

" 'tsuki?"

Boruto's voice brought him back from his thoughts.

"Are you okay?"

"I...I am okay. I'm just tired, let's some sleep."

Mitsuki suppressed all of his emotions and lay down on the bed with Boruto. He turned his back on Boruto and tried to close his eyes and get rid of his thoughts. Boruto's arms pulled him closer from his waist but he didn't make another move. He was sending a message that Mitsuki was with him and that he wouldn't do anything to Mitsuki that he didn't want to. It was a respectful gesture but somehow it made Mitsuki worse than before. Boruto was hugging him with the arms he used to hug other boys before! He hadn't done it once, he had done it many times, and Mitsuki had noticed it most of the time, but he hadn't said anything. He thought he could forgive such a thing, but he couldn't.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Don't touch me..."

Mitsuki straighten up on bed and directly looked into his eyes. It was the first time he had looked so long into Boruto's eyes since he had learned that he had been cheated. Even Boruto could somehow understand this. Boruto didn't need to be a seer to know that he was going to tell him something important.

"Mitsuki, what hap-"

"I know everything Boruto."

"What do you mea-"

"What do I mean?"

It was the first time in Mitsuki's life that he felt so sad but angry. Boruto had cheated on him with someone else and now he was trying to fool Mitsuki! How stupid did he think Mitsuki was? Did Boruto really think that he had cheated on Mitsuki more than ten times and that he wouldn't understand it? Perhaps Boruto knew that no matter what he did, Mitsuki would forgive him, and that's why he was doing all of this.

"Boruto, I told you I know everything! I saw you in...this bed...with another boy..."

Oh my God, Mitsuki knew what Boruto did.

"I...I am sorry 'tsuki...It was only once-"

"Don't lie to me!"

Mitsuki seemed...angry?

"How stupid did you think I was? You think I have no idea about what you did? I've caught you more than ten times before!"

"What? Then why didn't you say anything?!"

"Because I thought you'd give it up!"

Mitsuki couldn't control himself anymore. Boruto was still questioning Mitsuki when he should have apologized.

"I thought you wouldn't hurt me anymore! I thought if I moved into your house, maybe you'd be afraid to cheat on me! But you didn't stop doing these things, and you brought that boy here, to the bed where you sleep with me every night! Did you think I wouldn't notice any of this? Do you think the fact that you cheated on me is a secret? Shikadai, Inojin, Metal, Denki, Sarada, Chocho...All of them know this....They were all looking at me like I'm an idiot..."

"Were? Past tense?"

"I'm in such a miserable state, do you know how many times have they come and told me to break up with you? You may be their friend, but so am I. Do you know what their faces looked like when I told them that I already knew I was being cheated on? They also asked why I didn't break off the engagement even though I knew I was being cheated on."

Mitsuki pressed her index finger to his heart. There was anger in his eyes, but there was more sadness than anger.

"Do you want to know why that is?"

Mitsuki was looking as if he was waiting for a response from his lover, but it was obvious that he was not expecting a response. He did not expect an answer from Boruto. He expected Boruto not to upset him any more. As Mitsuki had predicted, Boruto couldn't give any answer to this. Mitsuki smiled, but not from happiness, but from pain. Boruto had his heart ripped out.

"Because I love you...I love you more than anything...No matter what you do to me, I've always forgiven you because I can't afford to lose you..."

A tear trickled down Mitsuki's eye. Boruto had never seen him cry before. Mitsuki buried his head in Boruto's neck. He could no longer look into Boruto's blue eyes.

"You are so cruel, Boruto...Because...Because you know I can't leave you..."

Mitsuki whisphered Boruto. He could not bear this more. If they were going to be honest now, he was telling Boruto everything he felt.

"I would rather to die..."

Boruto's eyes widened, did Mitsuki really say that? Mitsuki continued;

"You are killing me every day..."

Boruto's hand started to shake.

"You stabbed me from my heart..."

Boruto wanted to touch his head.

"But..."

Mitsuki looked up and looked into Boruto's eyes.

"If you ripped out my heart not once, but a thousand times, I would give it to you again... "

Mitsuki tried to smile.

"I'm really pathetic, aren't I?"

Boruto kept his silence.

"Why didn't you talk back to me?"

"..."

"Tell me...Please..."

"I..."

Boruto hugged him. He had never realized how much pain he had caused Mitsuki.

"I am sorry...I...I...I promise you, I will never do this again...So just promise me that you never won't cry again!"

"Are you...serious...?"

"Of course I am! That's why please forgive me last time..."

Under the light of the full moon that came in through the window and filled the room, two lover had kissed with happiness.

"We shouldn't do that here..."

Purple haired boy whisphered to blonde one. The blonde boy kissed his neck playfully and smirked.

"My husband won't be here before night falls, don't worry."

Some things would never change. Just as Uzumaki Boruto will not be satisfied with having only one lover. And some things never changed, like the fact that Mitsuki couldn't leave the sun no matter how much Boruto hurt him.

"It seems I was right after all..."

Mitsuki looked their bedroom without making a voice.

"You are no different than a disease..."
