Michelle has just enough time to get through the Quinns’ door and say, “Get ready for it, he’s on another one,” before James swoops through the door, beaming from ear to ear. He picks up Erin, swirls her around in a twirl, and plants a kiss on her mouth in full view of Michelle, Orla, Ma, Auntie Sarah, Da, and even Grandpa Joe.
“Well, now,” says the latter. “I thought he was a gay?”
Erin touches James’ cheek. “What’s got you in this mood?”
James can hardly talk around his grin. “They’re bringing back Doctor Who for a movie special.”
