Summary
There's a murderer loose in Edo's streets, killing off the Joui one man at a time. Hijikata thinks that this is a race between him and Katsura to find the culprit and take care of them, but when Hijikata ends up with four familiar faces in his morgue, he realizes that the killings are more than just a hatred for Katsura's faction. It was never meant to be personal to Hijikata, but it's personal to him now.
Luckily, the deaths aren't permanent. It's a good thing that Hijikata's a simp for Gintoki, because Gintoki's the only reason Hijikata discovered this time looping power. He's going to find the murderer and he's going to keep everyone alive, even if he has to drag Gintoki along with him like a toddler throwing a tantrum on a monkey leash.
