the creak died midway, slain by stanley's hand letting go of the door handle.
complete silence again.
well this was new. but stanley wasn't as happy as he'd thought he would be. the narrator sounded.. off, somehow. besides the fact that he didnt even begin the story, his story.this was definitely new.
