    "Naru!" Hite called in reply, and they quickly sprinted towards each other, taking up position at each other's backs before the demons descended upon them again. "There's so many of them, Naru! Who thought summoning this many demons here was a good idea?!"

    "I don't know," he growled, using his magic to reload the emptied cartridges while he had the chance, "but we're going to find out soon enough. Stay sharp, Hite!"

    "Right!"
