Aoi float back to Cavity's house. No one was there so Aoi float to Cafe Cinnamoroll's door and knock lightly on the frame, waiting for someone to answer it. Cinnamoroll opened the door and saw a white cloud floating in.
"Oh! Hello there, who are you?" He said with his usual friendly smile.
The cloud floated forward slightly.
"I am Aoi, one of Cavity's friends." Aoi said.
"Why is he friends with that Cloud Demon?" Espresso whispered to his friends.
"Baboo!" Milk pointed at the white cloud. "They look like they know each other!" Mocha said. Cappuccino was too busy eating the sweets and Chiffon was too interested in the new cloud to notice. Espresso was thinking too much about all of this but decided not to do anything about it. The cloud didn't seem very dangerous. Not like Cavity.
Cinnamoroll stared at Aoi curiously for a moment before opening up his arms, inviting Aoi inside. Aoi walked in and closed the front door behind them.
"You're a friend of our enemy, right? How did you guys meet?" Cinnamoroll asked. "Well, I met Cavity when he was a normal cloud," Aoi explained. "Back then, Cavity didn't trust me but after we talked more...we became really good friends." Aoi smiled as he recalled the memory. "So does that mean you guys have been together for awhile now?" Espresso asked. "Basically." Aoi blushed. "What happened?" Chiffon wondered.
"Cavity ran away because his parents were taken away by Cloud Demons, also called Storm Devils." Aoi explained.
There was silence for a while as Espresso processed the information and the others thought about what Aoi said.
"Well then, it seems like things changed a lot for you two." Espresso said.
"I guess so." Aoi nodded.
The puppies were silent again until Milk spoke up. "Baboo!" Milk suddenly yelled out. Everyone turned to look at him and Milk was pointing up, smiling wide.
Cinnamoroll and Aoi looked up too and saw a familiar shape floating up towards them. It stopped right in front of them, revealing Cavity sitting on top of it.
"I'm guessing your friend told you why I left?" Cavity asked with an evil smirk.
Chiffon gasped loudly. "It's true, isn't it?! You did run away with Storm Devils!" Mocha started shouting.
"Shut it, you dork!" Cavity yelled before turning back to Aoi. "And how can you be sure of that? Maybe Aoi is lying." Cavity scoffed.
Everyone went quiet and stayed silent for a minute, trying to decide whether or not Aoi would tell the truth or lie. Eventually, Espresso took the lead. "Look, if he doesn't want to say we'll just ask him directly." Espresso said.
The puppies all nodded in agreement with Espresso's statement and looked expectantly at Aoi. Aoi float to Cavity and cried and blushed softly. "Heh, crying already?" Cavity sneered.
"Yes..." Aoi answered quietly, avoiding eye contact with him. Cavity snorted but kept his composure, keeping himself composed.
"Whatever." Cavity shrugged and blushed a little.
"I love you!" Aoi said suddenly. Cavity blinked and blushed even harder. "Wha-" Cavity was about to say, but then he realized what Aoi meant. Cavity quickly looked away from the others and hid his face behind his wings.
"Aw! They do love each other." Cappuccino said.
"I guess a cloud and a Storm Devil can love each other." Cinnamoroll smiled. "Cappuccino, did you eat the sweets?" Espresso sighed and Cappuccino nodded.
"Now we have to cook the sweets again!" Espresso complained.
"We can help you with the sweets!" Aoi said. "Thanks!" Espresso exclaimed before dragging Aoi off to the kitchen, leaving everyone else alone once more.
"Do you think they'll ever get together?" Mocha wondered aloud.
Cinnamoroll turned to see that Espresso had grabbed the ingredients to make cookies out of his own accord, along with Cavity, Mocha, and Chiffon.
"I can’t believe that our enemy is helping us out with the food!" Chiffon said.
"But why should we trust him after what he did to us during our last encounter?" Mocha replied. "Maybe he's here on our side!" Espresso cheered.
"He has been a Storm Devil for a long time." Cinnamoroll reminded his fellow friends. "But even if he has changed, we shouldn’t blindly trust him yet." Cinnamoroll stated.
Cavity flew up next to Cinnamoroll, glaring at the others suspiciously. "What did they say to you, Cavity?" Cavity rolled his eyes at Aoi's question but he still answered anyway. "Don't worry about it. Let's focus on cooking instead." Cavity said and turned to look at Aoi. When they were done cooking sweets, Cavity and Aoi floated away from the group and the puppies said their goodbyes.
