Chapter Text
Encanto Carnage
Mirabel walked up to Maria's house later that night. She used Carnage's abilities to climb up to her window. When she looked in the window was opened as Maria looked at her. "Hello beautiful," she said. "Hello beautiful yourself," Mirabel responded as she climbed in.
Her dad came in and blinked twice, "I'll just go leave." "Wait, before you do. Can I talk to you about something," Mirabel asked, "It won't be long." "Okay, we'll do it down stairs." Mirabel kissed Maria and walked with her dad down stairs.
"So you want to marry my daughter?" "Correct." "Alright, you make her happy. So go on. I have her mother's ring actually hold on." The man left and returned a minute later with a ring. "Here, go. Make her happy." Mirabel took the ring and nodded walking up the stairs. "Nice, this is gonna go so well!" I hope so Mirabel thought, I hope so.
In the room, Maria was sat on her bed lounging as Mirabel entered. "Darling, I want to ask you something." Maria got off her bed standing up as Mirabel got down one knee and pulled out the ring. Maria began to cry tears of happiness. "Maria, you make me happy every second we're together. So I wanna make that every second of every day. Maria, will you marry me?" "Yes," was all Maria could say as the began to kiss. Mirabel slipped the ring onto her finger and they locked eyes. "Also, I have a little thing in my body." "What," Maria asked.
Carnage made his head come out of Mirabel's back and Maria just smiled and said, "Cool." "Thank you! Someone sees me as what I am! Cool! So when will this wedding happen," Carnage asked looking back and forth.
The next day, Mirabel awoke next to Maria. She smiled as she got up getting dressed as Maria began to rub her back. "I hate that you can't stay," she said as she sat up. "Well my family wouldn't appreciate this. Besides, after overmorrow we can lay in as long as we want," Mirabel stated as she kissed Maria. She then proceeded to jump out a window at Carnage's behest.
She climbed into the nursery window as a knock came from her door. "Breakfast lazy," Camilo yelled through it. Mirabel shook her head and exited the room. "Oh, and we're eating outside," Camilo yelled as he ran down the stairs. "Speaking of food, what do you eat," Mirabel asked as she walked slowly. "Brains! Or chocolate with your moral standing. Both have a chemical in them. I need that. So, does anyone own any chickens?"
At breakfast, Alma went on about serving the community when she asked about the engagement. It was tonight. That wouldn't give Mirabel and Carnage enough time to plan the maximum amount of, well, carnage! When everybody yelled "La Familia Madrigal," Mirabel didn't join in but instead mouthed it. Alma seemed to notice though did not let it plauge her face.
After breakfast, Mirabel went up to the nursery when Alma grabbed her by the shoulder and turned her around. "What was that," she asked. "What was what? You need to be specific," Mirabel stated. "When we say La Familia Madrigal, everyone has to say it! You can't get away with not saying it just because you don't have a gift!" "Well I did say it. Not even Dolores could tell you if I did because you've never cared about what she feels. Whether it's overwhelmed or in love. Because she's not Senorita Perfecta. Now, I have things to do. So later," and with that, Mirabel entered the nursery leaving behind a stunned Alma.
In the nursery, everything was set up so a quick getaway was possible. Then, she had a wedding to plan. Cosider it was the day after tomorrow, she had to get shit done quickly. First, the priest.
Mirrabel let Carnage handle this. "You will do this wedding or else I'll bite your head off. Also if you tell anyone including Alma, I'll bite your head off worse!"
"Okay, okay," the priest said nervously. "Okay, later," Mirabel said and walked away.
Then came the dresses. Mirabel was trying on the white dresses while Carnage looked. "Looks good, the sleeves are lovely and the muli teared look works great!" "I agree. We'll take it!"
Then came the food. This was the first thing Maria and her had to do together. "Sponge cake," Mirabel and Maria both said at the same time. "Great, then standard buffet and don't tell anyone. Got it."
That night, it was the engagement for Isabela. Now was time to cause trouble. First, she had moved the piano into Camilo's room where it matched in with all the other junk. Then she had changed the cutlery over from the fancy ass ones to the cheapest shit she could. They were chipping! These were truly minor but the little things add up.
Then the actual dinner happened. Chairs moved, the dinner tasted off (because Mirabel had messed with the spices and garnishes) and it appeared that Senorita Guzman was annoyed! Perfection. But then, Mirabel looked at Dolores and knew she had fucked up. She had forgotten her!
"Ah fuck. We should've seen that coming. As long as she doesn't spill, we'll be fine!" Then they took one look at her face and knew spilling was only a matter of time!
Mirabel looked down to take pressure off as Dolores hated prolonged eye contract. Didn't stop it though, "MIRABEL HAS A GIRLFRIEND AND THEY'RE GOING TO GET MARRIED SOON!"
"Can I please kill her now," Carnage pleaded but Mirabel stayed quiet tapping her fingers to an unfamiliar song.
"Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing. Thanks for the joy they're bringing," she sang to herself as everyone looked at her.
"When did this happen," Alma demanded.
"Who can live with it without it, I ask in all honesty," she continued.
"Why didn't you tell us," her mother asked.
"What would life be? Without a song or a dance what are we," she sang on.
"Why couldn't we get to meet her," her father asked.
"So I say thank for the music. For giving it to me," she continued.
"Enough," Alma declared, "You have to call off this wedding!"
"No."
"No? What do you mean no?"
"No, means no. So I will marry her and you have no say in it," Mirabel said calmly getting up and going up stairs.
"Don't you walk away from me," Alma yelled.
Mirrabel didn't listen and went into the nursery and did the final preparations to leave.
