Work Text:
“No!”
Cariad can hear Prue’s cry even as she dies. Months and months of punishment have lead them here, Cariad is dying and Prue cries louder as she finally is freed to hold her. This is enough for their captor, she knows that, but she can’t control her emotions. It’s only when he’s sure Cariad is dead that the man leaves.
Prue is clinging to Cariad even now and Cariad takes a breath, her eyes shooting open as she looks up at Prue. She is weak, too weak to remove them from where the captor left them, but she can call for her sisters. Cariad’s sisters come and they are taken home to the Halliwell home, Prue careful to tuck Cariad into bed, smoothing the sheets flat as she rests, her eyes still focused on Cariad.
“How?”
“They have to kill them all.”
Piper, speaking from the doorway, her smile slightly sad and soft.
“The sisters fainted, so I called our sisters together to find you Prue… then sent them home to get you.”
“She’s alive Prue, just be happy.”
Willow, one of the sisters, moves to squeeze Prue’s shoulder gently.
“Stay with her, please.”
