Summary
Canon Divergent AU from 10x18 - Book of the Damned onward. Rowena comes to Sam with a deal - the Cure for the Mark in exchange for the Book and the Men of Letters bunker. Desperate to have his brother back, Sam agrees, not paying heed to the consequences.
What follows leaves Sam under a curse (seriously, fuck curses) and Dean drinking excessively as they try to deal with their grief over the death of an old friend, while simultaneously trying to repair their broken relationship. It's not pretty and it sure as hell ain't going to be easy, but they'll get there... eventually. They have to.
