Seokjin was an actor. A goddamn beautiful one. It was only natural for a handsome actor to be rumored to date a pretty actress. A cute model, a lovely singer, a sexy dancer. Anyone but Jungkook. Anyone but a man. It made Jungkook self conscious. It started off with small things that Jungkook slowly started to hate about himself.
His hair. It was short. Maybe he should grow it out longer. He did. It looked amazing on him. Seokjin even complimented it. Maybe Seokjin just wanted to be nice to his boyfriend. Or maybe Seokjin likes long hair because every girl he gets partnered up with has long hair.
After that was his clothes. He went from cute crop tops and even cuter shorts to sweatpants and over sized hoodies. Now this was weird. This wasn't feminine. Jungkook knew that, but he also knew that he weighed more than any of the girls. He worked out a lot and he gained muscle weight. He didn't think he was fat but what if Seokjin thought he was? Hiding his body was surely good enough.
Or.. maybe not. Jungkook had body hair. Sort of. He had the sweetest happy trail. Barely visible but it was there. Seokjin loved it. He said it looked cute but what if he was lying? No. Seokjin wouldn't lie. Right?
Seokjin started noticing how different Jungkook was acting. He slowly started to deny any body touches. He rejected his kisses and he would always close off to himself when Seokjin tried getting intimate with him. Seokjin thought that maybe he just wasn't in the mood these couple of weeks but Jungkook had never went on a sexual hiatus for this long. The longest they went without fucking was a week but now its been a month. Seokjin wasn't pressuring Jungkook into anything, he tried to understand but Jungkook wouldn't even talk to him anymore. He had to do something about it. Something quick.
-
Jungkook was in the kitchen, big T-shirt covering most of his body, all down to his thighs. He was making pasta. He loved cooking. Loved cooking for Seokjin. Even if he knew how much better Seokjin's food tasted. He had just woken up from a nap. It was 6 pm. He really fucked up. Usually he would wake up at around 4. His eyes still a bit puffy from sleep and his lips bitten raw, his arms stirring the pasta in the pot. Seokjin had just arrived home from a photo shoot he had, he was quite enough for Jungkook not to hear him. He slowly made his way behind Jungkook, placing his hands on his boyfriend's hips. "Hyung-!" Jungkook gasped, suddenly stiffening as he felt Seokjin on him. "Hi, bun." Seokjin took in the smell of Jungkook's neck. "You smell good." Seokjin sighed, allowing himself to relax as he back-hugged Jungkook.
Jungkook let himself go from Seokjin's hold, eyes already teary. "Koo- hey- did I hurt you?" Jungkook shook his head. Seokjin tried not to panic but Jungkook was close to crying. "Hey baby, what's wrong?" Jungkook just looked at his boyfriend, sighing, trying to calm himself down. "Hyung, I can't- do this anymore." Jungkook stutters. "What do you mean, Koo?" Seokjin asked, taking a step back from Jungkook. "D-do you still love me?" Jungkook gulped, body shaking as if he was being physically shook. Seokjin furrowed his brows, placing his hands onto Jungkook's shoulders. "What?" Seokjin was expecting many other things to leave Jungkook's mouth, maybe how he accidentally broke a mirror or a TV or maybe how he burnt the onions.
Anything but that.
"Of course I do baby, what question is that?" Jungkook sobbed, allowing himself to fall into his boyfriend's arms. "Tell me you love me, hyung, please." The younger boy sounded desperate at this point and Seokjin was just confused on what the fuck was going on. "I love you, baby, I love you so much."
And then Jungkook just cried for a full 7 minutes, Seokjin just hugging him and gently messaging his back the best he could, occasionally whispering sweet nothings into his ears. "Baby tell hyung what's wrong?"
Jungkook looked up with teary eyes and sniffed. "I wanted to be prettier- no- sexier? no.. a-a girl?" Jungkook sounded hesitant, like he had no idea what he was talking about. He didn't want to be a girl. He had never thought of being transgender but maybe if thats what Seokjin wanted-
"Baby no. You're perfect like this. Don't get me wrong, I'll respect you if you come out as trans but I can't.. date you if you're a girl, baby. I-"
"Hyungg! No. 'm not a girl. I just- wanted to be one 'cause you keep getting rumored to be dating like everyone but boys 'nd you just- don't care." Jungkook whined, mind finally clearing up a bit after what seemed like years of constantly chasing after the unknown.
Seokjin chuckled, small lines forming at the ends of his eyes, kissing his shorter boyfriend. "Baby how many times do I have to tell you not to care about the rumours. Y'know, if i wore like a pink shirt they'd say that I stole it from my 'girlfriend's' closet after a sleepover." Seokjin tried explaining but Jungkook just pouted, tilting his head. "Baby what I'm trying to say is that no matter what I do or say, they'll never understand that I only love you... so just stop caring about them. 'kay?"
Jungkook whined, stomping around. "I grew my hair out for no reason?"
"God, you're so cute. I love your hair like this. I love everything about you. I don't care about what you decide to do to your body, you'll always be the best. But please- bring your little happy trail back. It's so cute."
"You're stupid, hyung. I love you."
"I love you too, baby."
