Anakin has been gone with Obi-Wan.
He was in the middle of another fight again. She understood that it was a war but still she couldn’t help but worry about him.
she unconsciously touched her tummy. She was getting bigger, and so was the baby.
she stood on her balcony, looking over the very heart of the republic.
the war was lasting longer and longer and Palpatine was getting more powerful.
Earlier today she held a secret meeting with Bail and Mothma. Something was happening behind the scene, they had to act quickly and trust no one, if not it could be too late.
She hated how much Ani trusted Palpatine. She couldn’t find any fault in the old man but a person with that much power did not show that much interest in someone unless he wanted something. but
Ani was blinded by his emotions and need for a father figure.
she wished Anakin would see that father figure in Obi-Wan but he was more of a brother.
sometimes she wished Qui-Gon Jinn was still alive and was Ani’s master. She had nothing against Obi-Wan but perhaps the latter could fill the father figure Anakin desperately wanted. and perhaps if it was like that Palpatine would never grow close to him.
She sighed.
well, that was never going to happen. There was no time to dwell on what-ifs.
she was going to drag him to Naboo after the baby came. And hopefully, by then the war was over and Palpatine no longer held so much power and neither was the chancellor.
The ground under her feet shook violently and she desperately reached for the wall to hang to it.
what was that?
earthquake? on coruscant? that wasn’t possible!
the world shook and became dark. She clutched her tummy and crouched down and closed her eyes praying that nothing will happen.
the vibration stopped she opened her eyes and crawled inside the house.
Padme grabbed the wall decorations and stood up.
the house was run down. it was trashed out and old, dust was everywhere, which tickled her throat and made her cough.
“Threepio?” she said out loud.
nothing
“Threepio?”
silence
perhaps something happened to the droid whilst the earthquake
she turned to look outside from her balcony and see the situation of the city.
she gasped, and her hand went toward her mouth.
the Jedi temple was down. It was in ruins. She looked around. everything was intact. The buildings looked slightly different.
she reached down for her tummy and didn’t feel anything.
WHAT?
her breath quickened, and she looked down. Her stomach was flat like before she got pregnant.
she clutched the fabric in her middle and tugged on it. There was no baby. She was no longer pregnant! Her hand shook and her knees felt weak. she fell on her four panting heavily.
What The Fuck Had Just Happened?
“well, that’ll be it” Mace Windu announced as he ended the council’s meeting.
He was the only Jedi master currently in the capital. The war was stretched far and wide.
and he doubted the senate. Well, Palpatine. He did all the things right but with every day that passed, he would gain more and more power.
it was just a matter of time till he was corrupted!
He stood up from his sit.
he had to call Kenobi. perhaps Skywalker had found something about the chancellor. Although the younger man was not to be trusted that much!
He knew well that he broke the Jedi code and was with Senator Amidala, and so did Yoda, but they all agreed that was a fling, something everyone does when they’re young. after all, most of the
masters and knights had gone through it.
But now, he suspected that the Senator was expecting. he was not so sure what would be Skywalker’s next move. He had so much fear in him and made decisions based on his emotions rather than
what should be done.
But there was nothing that can be done now, after all, he was the hero with no fear and the face of the republic, it would be not good for the Jedi’s image to get rid of their poster boy.
the ground underneath him shook. The force swayed and wrapped itself around him blinding him.
he blinked and it was gone. The vibration and the tsunami of force were both gone.
he looked around and reached for his lightsaber unsheathing it.
the temple was in ruins.
force screamed in pain and agony.
he started walking, dark corridors illuminated by his purple lightsaber.
he reached the padawans quarters and opened the door.
the absolute scream of force made him stumble on his feet.
the force screamed in bloodshed.
what the hell happened here?
the force overall was dark
it felt as if it was dominated by Siths!
What The Fuck Has Just Happened?
Padme clutched her holopad. She couldn’t believe what she saw.
it was nearly 20 years in the future and bloody Palpatine was the Emperor!
No information was found on holonet about Jedis aside from them being betrayers and according to holopedia she was dead!
and her baby was gone! She could just kill Palpatine with her bare hands!
she put on her cloak’s hood. Coruscant wasn’t safe for her. She should go to Naboo or Alderaan to Bail’s, there she could regroup and find out what had happened and what to do next.
she grabbed her blaster. there should be some shuttles left in Jedi temple, that was her way out.
After the betrayal of Jedis, Chancellor Palpatine, who was directly assaulted by the Jedi traitors and survived the attempt on his life, was elected by the senate to fully take control of the galaxy.
Our gracious emperor with the help of the keeper of peace, lord Darth Vader restored peace and security back to our galaxy.
so the Jedis were gone, murdered by Palpatine’s order. and of course, he was the Sith lord and had a new apprentice.
they’ve been fools, blinded and ignorant. How could they not see how it all was Palpatine’s plan all along?
he pocketed the holopad. There should still be a shuttle or two in the hangar, if he could get it to fly, he’ll be out of here and in search of any surviving Jedis in hiding. He needed to start a secret order
and try anything to overthrow the Siths!
She walked down the dark corridors leading to the hangar bay, blaster in her hand, ready to shoot.
she heard another set of footprints and turned sharply, ready to shoot.
“Senator Amidala” she heard Master Windu’s voice and saw his silhouette seconds later.
“Master Windu” she acknowledged the man.
“I see the force has transported you to this hell too”
so that was what the earthquake was!
she lowered her blaster and the man approached her.
“Palpatine’s the emperor apparently and we’re all dead”
“it seems so” he nodded and looked at her from head to toe.
“Did something happen during the transfer?”
she couldn’t tell him about the baby.
“no” she turned around “ we better be going Master Jedi. we should get out of here . the sooner the better” and walked away.
Mace Windu followed her. “You were expecting senator.”
her breath hitched “I beg your pardon?”
“you and Knight Skywalker were together I assume he was the father”
“it’s not important anymore “
“the baby might be alive and well in this timeline, Senator”
she refused to feel or get her hopes up.
she stayed silent.
they walked in silence till they reached the hangar.
there were two shuttles there, both were old even for 20 years ago.
“I’ll check the one on the right” she said and the Jedi master nodded.
she boarded the ship. it was a small 2-passenger ship with a bathroom. the pantry was full, with 20 years old goods.
she crossed the tiny room.
the control panel was all rusty. She clicked on the engine button but the old piece of junk didn’t budge.
“damn it”
fuck this ship and fuck this timeline
she took a deep breath and exited the ship
“I fear this ship’s just a piece of scrap metal”
Mace Windu got out of the other ship” I think this one will do “
she nodded
“Where do you want to go, senator?” the Jedi master asked her.
“I was thinking of Alderaan. Bail Organa will help us”
the Jedi nodded “I suggest checking the holonet to make sure he’s still the senator. Palpatine could’ve gotten rid of him”
right.Palpatine.the guy who killed all she cared for.
she fished out her 20 years ago version of holopad and logged in holonet.
Who’s Alderaan’s Senator?
Bail Organa was the last senator of Alderaan before the late Grand Moff Tarkin found out about the treason of Alderaan and being the base of the terrorist organization called the rebellion-alliance.
wait, what?
“it seems we won’t be able to go to Alderaan, Master Windu”
the Jedi turned from where he was checking the panel outside of the ship and walked by her. She gave him the holopad.
“what could’ve happened to Alderaan?”
the Jedi typed quickly, a second later he let go of a pained sigh.
she turned and grabbed the device from him.
After Princess Leia Organa was caught with the galaxy’s security holos, on her way to Alderaan to execute the plan of mass attacks on citizens of the empire, the late Gran Moff Tarkin, based on the
treason evidence of Alderaan, ordered the annihilation of the terrorist’s base to save the lives of billions of people.
Oh God.
He had killed them all.
A whole planet.
“How did he destroy the whole planet?” she heard Windu from her side.
How did the annihilation of Alderaan occur?
Death Star
project Death Star, was a top-secret moon-shaped ship, to protect the citizens across the empire.
“so what Palpatine has a whole moon to destroy planets?” Windu said.
“it seems so” that lowered their chance of any sort of rebellion. Damn it all!
Underneath the article, it was a big wanted in red.
she scrolled down.
a blond young male with blue eyes, so similar to Anakin, was staring through the picture at her.
60000 credits for rebel scum Luke Skywalker responsible for the destruction of the death star
must be alive
she could see a brunette girl, a guy, and a Wookie too.
Princess Leia Organa, Capitan Han Solo, Chewbacca.
but the boy, all she could focus on was the blonde boy. Luke Skywalker.
“it looks like after all your child has survived senator”
Luke. She knew it was going to be a boy. Luke. she wanted to name the baby that.
Can Ani be alive? after all their little one was alive and she was gone. It must’ve been Ani who raised their Luke then.
“Master Windu, could Anakin be alive?”
the Jedi thought for a few seconds “perhaps. The force is dark here I can’t be sure. First, we should get out of Coruscant.”
She nodded and the two walked to the ship.
It took them some maneuvering and a very dangerous flight to get out of Coruscant and into hyperspace.
they were coming out of hyperspace.
He looked to his side when Amidala sat.
He didn’t know what to think of Skywalker's adventures with the senator but it looked like the result of their fun time was leading a rebellion and exploding giant genocidal devices!
He couldn’t be that mad. He guessed.
finding the young Skywalker was a priority now. They could regroup with old friends there.
the senator grabbed her commlink and was staring at it while it was daling.
perhaps Qui-Gon Jinn was wrong. What if Anakin was not the chosen one? what if Skywalker’s child was the chosen one? What if they were sent here to help him bring balance?
Amidala was trying her best to not show any emotion, but he could feel how with each ring that went unanswered fear would consume her more.
it was hopeless.
and then, suddenly, Skywalker and Kenobi showed up, looking just like 2 days, when they left Coruscant, 20 years ago.
What?
That was impossible!
did the two also time travel?
what the hell was going on here?
The senator’s shoulder relaxed and went down and she took a sigh of relief.
“Ani, thank god”
