After school Kagami and Kuroko went to Kuroko’s house to pack his stuff.
Kuroko knocks on the door and his mother opens it and immediately starts apologizing for what happened the night before and that morning. “I’m so sorry for what happened… but you know that I can’t go against your father. Do you have a safe place to stay?”
Kuroko nods and his mother starts talking to him again, “I can’t say I understand how you feel but I respect your choice and I hope you know that I love you.”
“I love you too, too mom.”
They hug each other and Kuroko’s mom invites them to come inside and asks if they want something to drink, they decline and go upstairs to Kuroko’s room.
Once they’re in his room they start to pack Kuroko’s stuff in a comfortable silence, but Kagami is done with the silence after a couple of minutes and decides to start a conversation.
“Your mother seems nice.”
“Yeah, she really is, but she doesn't have a good relationship with my dad.”
“Do you know why?” Kuroko was silent for a couple of seconds before Kagami started to talk again, “don’t feel pressured to tell me anything, I was just trying to make conversation.”
“No it’s fine, it’s just that the only thing I know is that it was an arranged marriage, that my mother didn’t agree to.”
“Okay, so… do you have everything you need to take with you packed?”
“I think so.. let’s see. My clothes, shoes, dog food, no. 2.”
“Do you really have to take the dog with you?” Says Kagami while feeling a shiver through his body at the thought of living with a dog.
Kuroko nods
“Do you have extra blankets and a pillow, or do I have to bring those?”
“No, I have a spare bedroom, you only have to bring your clothes.” Kuroko nods at him and they take his stuff downstairs, say bye to his mom and go to Kagami’s house.
When they got to Kagami’s house they went into the spare bedroom, put Kuroko’s stuff in there and made the bed. After they were done with that it was already 17.30 and they had to decide what to eat.
“Do you have any idea what you want to eat for dinner?” aks Kagami.
“Do you have something like pasta?” Kagami says that they have pasta so they make the pasta and eat it at the table in the kitchen. Once they’ve finished eating dinner Kuroko offers to wash the dishes and Kagami says that he’ll dry them.
“Kagami?”
“Yeah?”
“Do you have someone that you like?”
Kagami’s whole face turns red, not really knowing what to say
“You don’t have to answer me if you don’t want to, but there’s this guy that I like and I’m not sure what to do about it. So I thought maybe you have some advice?”
“Uhm… Is he interested in guys?”
“He said that he’s bi, but I don’t think he is interested in me.”
“How can you be so sure?”
“Now, he is this really cool guy, tall, has a lot of muscles, is confident and I’m… me.”
“Don’t say that, you may not be tall or have a lot of muscles, but you have your own qualities.”
Kuroko just stays silent at that. And Kagami’s a bit sad about the fact that he is talking about another guy with his crush.
“Maybe you should just say that you like him.”
“I like you?”
“Yes, just like that.” Why do you have to say it to me if it’;s ment for someone else?!
“No, I like you.” Kuroko points at him.
At this point Kagami just looks all confused at Kuroko, trying to figure out what’s happening.
“So… You like me?” Kuroko nods at him. “Are you sure?” Kuroko nods at him “Can I kiss you?” Kuroko nods again and leans closer to Kagami. Kagami kisses him and Kuroko kisses back.
After a couple of seconds Kagami breaks the kiss. “Do you want to be my boyfriend?”
“Yes.”
