Chapter Text
What no way, of course she didn’t! Who on earth would even consider dating Aiden, of all people?! She got up off of her floor mattress since she couldn’t sleep, she walked out into the kitchen to see Aiden sitting on the counter-top shirtless with a bottle of whiskey. Seeing them shirtless was practically a daily occurrence, she just learned to focus on looking at their face and not at their chest, since when their inferiority complex was acting up, they could get quite insecure about it. Most of the time though, they tended to flaunt it. Like now.
“Can’t sleep?” They asked, looking at the clearly sleep deprived lawyer.
“I reckon I’d probably be able to if I had an actual bed.” She scoffed jokingly. She walked over and hopped up on the counter-top to join them. “Wanna spare me any?”
“Oh, but of course, Your Honour.” They chuckled, passing her the bottle of whiskey. “This’ll put some hair on your chest. Or uh…Fuck, what do women bodies do?”
“Just gimme the goddamn bottle Aiden.” She gave a small glare.
“Yes ma’am.” They almost looked sad until they began to chuckle, Quinn joining them.
6 hours later and 5 bottles down, Aiden and Quinn were sat on the couch, laughing their asses off at random shit.
“Okay! Okay.” Quinn let out the loudest cow noise she could produce, proceeding to laugh afterwards.
“It’s a mothafuckin cow-PFFFFT” Aiden began to laugh horrendously as they rolled off the couch. “Ow.”
“Oh shit- You good-?” She looked down at him and blinked lazily, processing for a second what she should do. She then extended a hand down to help him off the floor. They took her hand, getting up a little too fast. Before anyone could react, they were both on the floor, Aiden on top of Quinn. Quinn gave an awkward chuckle as she went to wiggle out from underneath them, but Aiden held her there.
“Y’know, being a lawyer, such as you, you gotta be smart, don’t you?” They slowly moved their face much closer to Quinn’s.
“U-uh yeah…Aiden-?” She squeaked, her face getting redder by the second, this time it wasn’t the alcohol. They put a finger up to her lips and made a shushing noise.
“Y’see, unlike you, I speak my thoughts. And right now, all my thoughts are saying is that…” They brought their face, centimetres from hers.
“I want you.” Their lips crashed into hers passionately. Quinn, knowing that she felt the exact same, kissed them back. As their lips separated, they both looked each other in the eyes. Aiden had beautiful eyes once you actually looked deep into them. The ring around their iris was a deep blue, a lighter blue within the border and near the pupil was this beautiful yellow colour. Quinn’s eyes were a beautiful deep hazel. They looked at her and gave a gentle but devious smirk. As soon as Quinn responded back with the same expression, they knew that they had the green light. They began to make out passionately, anyone would have guessed that they were a couple. Aiden ran their hands up the sides of her torso, slipping her shirt off in the process. Their tongue was asking for dominance and when she finally caved, they moved one of their hands to pull her hips closer to theirs, the other hand flew to the back of her head, pulling her deeper into their kiss. They felt her body shudder underneath theirs as they grinded their hips against hers. They picked her up and carried her to their room, slowly starting to move their head down to her neck. She let out a small whimper as they traced their tongue along her jugular. They opened their door and nearly tripped over on a stray boot lying in their room. Their room had about 6 square meters of space that wasn’t taken up by a king-sized bed. They placed her onto the bed and then they got on top of her, both of their legs either side of hers.
“A-Aiden~” Quinn tilted her head upwards. Intrigued by her response, Aiden started to nip up her neck towards her ear, earning a shiver from her.
“I think I love you…” She whimpered desperately.
They gave a drunk chuckle. Both of them reeked of alcohol. None of them were going to remember this.
The next morning, Aiden had Quinn wrapped in their arms, sleeping, both of them in each other’s embrace, she rested against their chest. Quinn lightly fluttered her eyes open, disorientated. Ugh…my fucking head…Where am I? She looked around the room at all of the grunge posters plastered on the walls. She only now noticed that she was within another set of arms, laying on someone’s bare chest. Wait…what the fuck…Aiden?! They snorted in their sleep, basically backing Quinn’s evidence. She slightly moved one of her arms as not to wake them. They lifted up the blanket and then dropped it instantly. In shock to find out that both of them were naked. Had the alcohol really messed up her memory that badly? Surely, she would remember having sex with her roommate. And for them to be her first too? Brett had tried to hit on her a few times to no avail. But Aiden had made no such advancements. On cue, Aiden’s grip on Quinn tightened as they woke up.
“Morning doll.” They murmured sleepily.
“Do you remember anything from last night?” She looked up at them, completely not expecting a small kiss on the lips.
“I remember drinking 5 bottles of whiskey, everything else is black.” They snorted. “But I’m led to assume that if we’re waking up like this…” They said condescendingly, leading to a possible answer from her.
“My thoughts exactly. But, what are we gonna do about this?”
“About my bed? It’s constantly messy, that’s an easy fix.”
“No.” She scoffed. “I-I meant about…” She made wild hand gestures, basically getting to a point. “I meant about us. Like was this a one-night thing?” They looked down at her for a second and began to chuckle.
“You really even considered thinking that I would one-night stand someone? Don’t fucking kid yourself Quinn.” They scowled. She flinched slightly before they corrected their expression with a soft smile. “That sounded rude. What I meant is that I’m here. And I’m going to be here for as long as you need me to be.” She smiled back at them and gave them a kiss on the cheek.
“Then I’m prepared to spend a lifetime with you.” They looked at her, shocked but ecstatic.
“W-wait you…Oh man, you don’t know how long I’ve waited for this moment! Oh, I promise I won’t let you down!” They hugged her close.
“We gotta get up, I’m hungry, and I’m in dire need of painkillers.” She managed to wrestle herself out of their arms to place their feet onto the floor. As soon as she managed to stand up, her knees went out from underneath her and she crumbled to the ground. They giggled before she glared at them. “A little help? You did this, after all.”
“Yeah, alright loser.” They stretched, cracking a few kinks out of their back before they got out of bed and scooped her up almost effortlessly. “God, what do you eat?” She gave them a small scowl before chuckling at them.
“Fuck you, man.” She gave them a small kiss on the neck before they both exited the room.
Little did she know however. That letting them into her heart, may have just doomed her.
