Multiverse. An absurd concept, right?
It was what Lana Lewis thought as she watched the trailer for Dr. Strange, Multiverse of Madness.
She could never have imagined how much her life would change in a few minutes, in every way possible, when three bullets dashed into her chest.
She didn't even have time to evaluate the consequences, but she was glad someone had finally dared to do it.
But when she woke up, it was no longer Lana Lewis, an 18-year-old medical student, but Katherine Pierce, a centuries-old vampire with an immense sense of self-preservation, or maybe a mixture of the two.
And for the first time since she came into the world, Katherine Pierce never ran away, just as Lana Lewis dared to face her demons.
