Eijirou’s rising self-confidence has been the best and worst thing for Bakugou. Shit, it’s not like Bakugou wasn’t well aware of Eijirou’s ability to be so self-assured. He’s been that way, pretty much since first year even if he had his moments of doubt. He has always been determined and ready to take on a challenge regardless of any fears or insecurities for as long as Bakugou has known him. It’s just that by second year, Kirishima’s doubts were few and far between and by third year… Kirishima wore his confidence in the same way Bakugou wore his cockiness. And it was driving Bakugou insane.
