1)
Callahan can't remember the reason for him being out so late. Especially in an area that is so unlit. He doesn't have torches, but clutches his bow in one hand and arrows in the other as the looming sound of clacking bones gets louder.
The grass is long and brushes uncomfortably against his legs, and the cool wind bites at the tips off his nose and ears.
He's heading home, trudging through the land that sinks slightly at his weight. He want to bow his head to watch where he walks, but he can't leave himself defenceless; he must keep his chin raised and eyes open.
Suddenly he hears it. Humming. It's in the far distance, farther than what he can hear the skeletons to be. He vaguely recognises the voice and hesitantly heads towards it. Sure enough, as Callahan approaches, he sees the nine foot tall demon, chopping at dark oak logs.
Contrary to what people may believe, height has no advantage when there are mobs about, especially if you are not wearing armour. Skeletons, creepers, zombies and witches all stand at a mighty six feet, and whilst they may be smaller than demon and Godly hybrids, they can still inflict damage when the appropriate armour isn't worn.
Badboyhalo stands tall against the tree he hacks away at. His head brushes against the leaves that rustle on impact. His dark, slightly scaled skin is exposed as his normal netherite armour is replaced by nothing at all. He is exposed. He hums and sings every so often, and with every swing of his axe he is distracted from the dark sky and hoard of skeletons that are fast approaching.
Callahan, squats behind a tree, drawing his bow and arrow. Before any of the skeletons have a chance to shoot Bad, or even notice the reindeer hybrid, Callahan draws his arrow against his bow, pulls back and watches as it catches fire midair upon release, impaling the weakened bones of the creature.
Bad doesn't notice the skeleton on fire behind him. Callahan shoots several more arrows, never missing a shot, before eventually, all seven skeletons turn to dust, and their ashes disappear in the cool wind.
Callahan smiles, satisfied at the thought of saving his friend. He quietly and gently makes his way home, careful to not make a sound to distract other mobs. He makes a mental note to find Bad some ancient debris.
2)
Callahan loves Kinoko Kingdom. He thinks it's beautiful. The structures are immaculate and huge but not so big to be intimidating. Although Callahan loves his secret home, staying in Kinoko feels just as safe. Callahan think Foolish did an amazing job, although he wouldn't admit that out loud.
Kinoko is many things. Flammable is definitely one of them, and with one of its founders being a half-demon blaze born, there are always bound to be problems.
It happens on a warm day, where the ground is damp from morning dew and there is only a slight breeze in the air.
Karl is missing and George is asleep, which leaves Sapnap and Tina...and Callahan, but the other two don't know that.
Sapnap is tugging at the ends of his hair, popping his head in and out of buildings, becoming more and more frustrated at something. Callahan watches as he knocks on Tina's door, softly at first, before the knocking becomes frantic. He's looking for something, or more accurately, someone.
"TINA!" He shouts, moving toward the window to press his face against it. He points towards the door and Callahan guesses that Tina has seen him.
As the door swings open, Sapnap barges in and the door slams shut. It only takes a few seconds before the pair leave the house in a frantic rush.
"It's only going to get bigger, we need to find him!" Sapnap shouts. "I can't look for Karl and carry George at the same time. Neither of us will get a chance to put out the flame."
That's when it clicks for Callahan. There's a fire somewhere, and even though Kinoko has a pond at its centre, the lagoon and the tail end of the ocean, there will be no time for two people to collect buckets of water to put it out.
Callahan flees to the dragon statue. It's not the highest point of the Kingdom but it's the easiest to climb, and then he'd be able to get a clear view of smoke.
Climbing the statue is easy, and soon enough Callahan can see thick, black smoke, rising high in the air. He scans the land for Sapnap, only to see the half fire demon running towards party island, George slumped in his arms and Tina hot on his heels. Karl is nowhere in sight.
The smoke is rising from one of the smaller houses, next to where George and Karl reside and it's only a matter of seconds before it spreads to the larger buildings.
In mere moments, three small buildings are in flames and Karl isn't in sight.
There is only one thing Callahan can do, and it's risky. There's a reason Callahan doesn't have a voice, but if he had to choose between his Godly heritage and communication, he'd forever choose the former.
Callahan raises his arms high to the sky, and shuts his eyes. He breathes in deeply, ignoring the smoke, and breathes out. He repeats and repeats and repeats again before suddenly he feels it. A drop. Then another and another. Callahan opens his eyes and raises his chin to the sky. His eyes glow and dark grey clouds that rival the smoke surround the Kingdom.
Suddenly, the heavens open, and rain pours from the sky like there is no tomorrow. Callahan doesn't look down even as his mask and hair sticks to his face.
It's takes only a few minutes for the fire to completely subside, and Tina, Sapnap and George are nowhere in sight. Neither is Karl.
Callahan trusts they are all safe, and takes his leave.

Ponk's mouth gets her in more trouble than it's worth. Ponk also has a bad habit of doing really stupid things to get the attention of a particular creeper hybrid.
It's really no surprise to Callahan that Ponk made a whole rail system to ask Sam out on a date. Callahan had watched as Ponk collected (stole) rails from all over the server, and dug and dug and dug until a decent tunnel was made.
He had spent so long on it that Callahan admires the structure whenever Ponk isn't around.
However, there was a huge flaw in the structure. So big, in fact, that Callahan decided to take it upon himself to fix.
Okay, so it isn't that big of deal, but Ponk's rail just so happens to be made on top of a bunch of infested cobblestone. The majority of their rail is fine, but Callahan knows that if Sam were to get out of the cart at the end, he would be attacked by a bunch of silverfish, and knowing Sam, he will think the whole date-thing is a hoax.
The last think Callahan wants is a sad Ponk.
Collecting cobblestone is easy, and Callahan ventures into the rail system, careful to not knock or destroy any of the decorations.
He treads carefully on the rails as they go down, using them as ladders.
Killing silverfish is easy, sure, but Callahan doesn't want to risk them coming back. He breaks the infested cobble and uses his sword to kill the creatures. Only half a dozen appear from the stone and Callahan quickly replaces what he broke.
He makes his way out of the tunnel once he is happy with the work. Although silverfish are more of a nuisance than harm, Callahan would rather Ponk's proposal to a date go well than backfire. Prime knows they need at least one happy ending on this server.
Sure enough, a few days later, Callahan can see Ponk jump in the arms of Sam, both of them elated with happiness.
Callahan is glad that Ponk has done something without getting herself in trouble. He deserves it.

Nobody on this damn server sleeps. Except George, but he doesn't really count since sleep seems to be his permanent state.
Nobody on this damn server sleeps and it's an issue.
Callahan hates the looming phantoms that roam the skies. Their screeches echo through the night, bouncing off of the tall structures of the SMP lands.
Everyone is more than capable of shooting one down, but there are certain members of this server that are more...fragile than others.
Hannah Rose is powerful and smart but her wings are dainty and strong enough to hold only her weight. Whilst Hannah can fly for hours on end, she's a prime target to the Phantom's dives, so in turn, stays on the ground during nights.
However, tonight must be her deviation. As Callahan walks on the path of Prime, he hears a sharp cry. His head snaps up, and sure enough, there is Hannah, delicate and graceful, flailing in the air as phantoms swoop below her, above her, all around her.
Callahan acts fast, his bow is low from fighting the skeletons, and the fire aspect is more of a smoke aspect. The phantoms scream and hiss in the skies, and Hannah hits them with all her might whilst trying to stay balanced in the air.
Callahan makes the painful realisation that he can't risk shooting an arrow, and miss Hannah. He needs to make a distraction.
Fireworks. One of the only things currently in his inventory. Callahan legs it down the path, far enough away that Hannah won't get hit, but close enough so they are still in his line of sight.
Callahan sets one off. It whistles through the air before exploding into glittering colour, lighting up the sky.
The Phantoms jerk. Callahan smiles.
He races down the path, randomly setting off fireworks. He can see the Phantoms start to get disorientated as they weave through nothing.
Hannah dives to her safety, not having a chance to see it's Callahan that has saved her.
The sun starts to rise, and Callahan doesn't stop until the Phantoms start to fizz and burn in the sky.
Before he leaves, he pockets some Phantom membrane. It's totally worth it.
5)
Eryn is new, but so are most people compared to Callahan.
He's of demon descent, much like Sapnap, however Eryn knows what happened to his parents. He's not exactly open about his past, but Callahan has a habit of showing up out of nowhere during the worst of times.
Nothing good ever comes out of revenge. Callahan is no fool; he's heard Eryn mutter about bottling the blood of his enemies. It's quite unsettling.
Enough has happened to the minors of this server, and as Eryn is one of the youngest, Callahan secretly takes it upon himself to look after him. Nobody has to know.
It's coincidence that Callahan happens to pass by Eryn during one of his muttering rampages.
"Soon they'll see," Callahan hears, "never mess with a Cyberonix."
It doesn't take long for Callahan to discover that Eryn is planning a server jump; a dangerous manoeuvre from one server to another. Safer server jumps include those to MCC competitions and Hypixel, however, foreign server jumps are risky with less than half a chance of survival.
Callahan has worked with literal Gods to prevent dangerous server jumps in the past so he knows exactly what to do.
It only takes a few hours to rework the coding of the SMP server, and Callahan is happy with his work, tucking his communicator away.
The next day, Callahan spots Eryn tapping furiously at his own communicator. The younger boy has smoky hair and his eyes are glowing the same as Sapnap's or Bad's when they get frustrated. Eventually Eryn throws his communicator to the grass and falls to the ground in a huff. He tucks his knees into his chest and Callahan almost feels bad. Eryn is just a kid.
He quickly reminds himself that Eryn was more than willing to send himself on a mission almost certain to result in death, in order to defend his family honour. Callahan finds it remarkable, but for now, Eryn, the child, is safe on this SMP.
1)
Tubbo looks uncomfortable and small against the man that stands before him. His sleeves cover his hands that twist at his sides with anxiety, and beads of sweat stick to his forehead despite the snow they are surrounded by.
Tubbo stands solemnly at his front door with back pressed tight against the wooden door but he's huntched in fear.
Schlatt smirks and Tubbo gulps.
"My own son doesn't want me to visit?" Schlatt mocks, hand pressed against his heart. "After everything I have been through."
"Y- you don't belong- belong here." Tubbo stutters, somehow pressing himself further into the door without opening it.
"No hello hug from your old man? No wondering how I'm back? I feel dissapointed Tubbo."
Schlatt's hair is as white as the snow at his feet and his eyes are as dead as he was only a day ago.
Callahan snarls as he watches the car crash reunion unfold in front of him. He hides behind a spruce structure, quiet as always, never leaving a mark in the snow.
"C'mon Tubbo. I'm sorry I was so harsh before, I really am, but I'm back and we can rule togther."
"I'm done," Tubbo finds his voice, "I promised I would never involve myself in politics again, especially if it means putting my family in danger."
"Family...right. And what am I? Chopped liver?" Callahan is almost certain he can smell Schlatt's alcoholic musk from where he is hid.
"You're supposed to be dead!" Tubbo shouts suddenly. "You were never a father to me, even as a kid. The Captain was more of a father to me then you ever were, and you had the guts to rip me away from all that to bring me here, only to treat me worse. I am not your pawn nor your son, now leave me alone!"
Schlatt laughs, low and menacing and Callahan holds his breath as he figures out what to do next.
"Oh I am supposed to be dead? Like Ranboo is?" There is a silence so loud that Callahan is sure that they can hear him breathing. Callahan takes a peak at Tubbo to see the young man is stock still, tears brimming his eyes.
Callahan hates this man and he is going to prove it.
"That's what I thought," Schlatt steps away from Tubbo as though he has won. "Help me get back what is mine, and maybe I'll spill on how I got here in the first place. If not, then perhaps I'll have to dissapear for a while again. Who knows, maybe it'll teach-"
Before Schlatt can even begin to finish his sentence, he is body slammed into the floor, Callahan gripping at his waist as though he is a vice.
Schlatt throws Callahan upwards with all his strength before ramming his head into the reindeer hybrids stomach. Callahan barely registers Tubbo darting inside his house as Schlatt goes in for another hit, though this time, Callahan twists his head so horns meet antlers.
Rams have immense strength of the head, but reindeers have a spiderweb made of bone on top of their own. Callahan winces as Schlatt's head forces its way down, but he never lets the latter reach his face.
Callahan uses Schlatt being tangled in his antlers to his advantage. The hybrid forces himself to sit more upright, pushing Schlatt back before striking the revived man in the stomach. There is a storm brewing above them.
Schlatt, in all his confusion, has no time to react to the blow as he huntches over in pain. Callahan tries to keep his head down and antlers up in defence.
Suddenly, Schlatt kickes his leg out under Callahan who finds himself falling on top of Schlatt. Big mistake.
"Who the fuck are you?" Schlatt spits, and Callahan smiles.
Schlatt's eyes move away from Callahan as the weather changes. Deep grey clouds heavy with rain swirl into spirals in the sky and lightning strikes from behind them. Crashes of booming thunder echo off of the mountains and a menacing breeze picks up steadily but with threat. Schlatt is hypnotised by natures performance, just as Callahan wanted.
With every fibre of his being, Callahan summons the voice of the wind that whispers "your worst nightmare". Schlatt's eyes widen as Callahan rolls himself off of the ram hybrid with haste and the spiral in the sky forms directly above him.
"Oh shi-" Lightning strikes directly from its centre before Schlatt has any time to react. Callahan covers his eyes.
As quickly as the freak storm appeared, it leaves. All that remains in Schlatt's place is a murky silhouette and ash.
Callahan stares at the ground, sorry that the snow had to melt.
"What the fuck was that?" Callahan's head snaps up and he meets Tubbo's eyes. "WHAT THE FUCK!"
The sky is clear and Callahan can't bring himself to look away from Tubbo.
"Is he gone for good?" Tubbo asks, voice unsure. He shifts forward, and Callahan looks down, suprised to see a small piglin child hiding behind his legs, scared.
Callahan nods, and turns to take his leave.
"Wait!" Tubbo shouts, "you can't leave it like that, what happens now? Does anyone else know you can do that? That was so sick but so scary, I though the house was going to explode. The way you just tackled him too, that was awesome!"
Callahan smiles at Tubbo, glad that he hasn't grown up too quickly. To answer Tubbo's question, he doesn't know. Callahan doesn't know what happens now.
Tubbo knows about his power. So does the child. Maybe it won't be a big deal. Perhaps Tubbo will tell everyone, or maybe no one. Either way, Schlatt is dead again, and Callahan turns on his heal to leave.
Perhaps it's time to kiss his quiet life goodbye.
