Summary
It's the Yule Ball but with a bit of spice. Dumbledore decides to change the clothing requirements so that it's now a masquerade ball (definitely not because he wants to see people fall in love). As expected, people linger and chatter around those they never would've.
Including a certain Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter.
Someone finds out about them, and tips them off to Lucius, who wants to protect his son from anyone and everyone.
Or, Dumbledore loves Drarry and will do absolutely anything for that to happen. Lucius genuinely gives a shit about his kid, and some childhood bully is in love with Draco.
[Currently being rewritten! Chapter 1 is being edited, and the final chapter is in the works. I wrote this fic years ago with very limited writing experience, and now I've gotten somewhat better, I want to edit a fic that I put so much effort into, so here you go.]
