"Paimon please let me have this chance of purchasing it!" Xiangling whined. "I even found a voucher for free shipping—"
"No way! Two hundred thousand mora is insane! Use that for something else!" Paimon rolled her eyes before feeling her phone vibrate.

"I gotta go." Paimon stood up. "Thoma! Whatever you do, stop her from purchasing that Gouba plushie!"
Paimon rushed her way to Lumine's place. As she was getting closer, she saw Aether walking ahead of her.
"Yo! Aether!" Paimon hurriedly walked to the other twin.
"Oh? Paimon?" Aether stopped and waited for her to reach him. "Are you gonna meet up with Lumi?"
"That's the thing. She said it was urgent." Paimon took a deep breath.
His expression changed to see the worried look on Paimon's face. "C'mon."
They both ran to the house and went to Lumine's room to see her lying in bed.
"Lumine!" Aether called out, startling the other.
"Aether?!" Lumine's eyes widened before realizing Paimon was there too. "You called him?!"
"Look pal, you said 'S-O-S' and 'urgent' on your messages and I take that seriously." Paimon huffed. "How was I suppose to know if I should bring him or not? Aether's your twin."
Lumine avoided Aether's gaze and shot a look at Paimon. "Geez,"
Lumine stood up and push Aether out of her room. Aether tried to protest Lumine until he was on the other side of the door.
"This does not concern you. It's not a big deal and it's more of just," Lumine tried to think of another excuse. "It's a girl thing!"
She then slams the door to Aether's face. He was astounded with what just happened. At this point, he was already used to it and trusts Lumine that she can handle it. Besides, Paimon is with her.
What could go wrong, right?
"Okay, my mistake. I'm sorry–"
"It was Chongyun." Lumine quietly blurted out.
Paimon stared at her. "Chongyun? What's with Chongyu—"
"He's the one who sent the emails."
"Oh."
There was a few seconds of silence before Paimon cleared her throat. Lumine looked at Paimon who was rubbing the back of her neck.
"Well," Paimon shrugged. "Shit."

It's been a month since the revalation that Chongyun sent the emails. Luckily for Lumine, she drowned herself in university work and her program courses. It was her third-year of university and it's about to end in a few weeks. The next school year is her final year and they'll be graduating. She's thankful that Paimon is there to keep her company and struggle with her.
She tried her best to avoid the group for now, however she did notice that both Chongyun and Xingqiu were around. She did see them at the campus, but she tried to avoid them as well. She still didn't know how to face them.
Lumine didn't want to be angry anymore. Yet, she feels like she's tired to get angry or feel any form of extreme negative emotion. She knows she needs to be more angry now than ever, instead she just feels exhausted.
She was in the library checking out some books for her media class assessment before Paimon sits next to her, looking a little nervous.
"Hey, uhm," Paimon whispered while putting her bag on the table. "Thoma messaged me today."
"Oh? What's up?" Lumine put her pen down and looked at the other.
"He was, uh, planning to meet-up after finals to celebrate finishing our third-year of uni. With, you know, the gang." Paimon sealed her lips and looked at her phone. "I couldn't respond because I know you're not comfortable to see the gang just yet. I just wanted to tell you first before I make hasty decisions."
Lumine was glad that Paimon told her first. She really appreciated all the things Paimon has done for her. "Thank you, Paimon. You know you're more than okay to meet up with them."
Paimon held Lumine's hand. "Whatever happens, I always got your back. You don't have to come if you're not ready. I'll just let them know that you're still busy."
Lumine gently smiled. "Thank you, Paimon."
As Paimon parted ways with her, Lumine walked her way back to their place. She was thinking of passing by a grocery store to buy some things for the house. As she waited for the walking lights to turn green, an arm was draped over her shoulder.
"Hey, Lumi!" Venti greeted.
"Venti!" Lumine smiled before wrapping her arm at Venti's back. "Long time, no see."
"You too." he smiled. "I'm off to Second Life to fill up our necessities in the apartment."
"Oh? I didn't know that you would be the one to do grocery shopping." Lumine teased.
"What?! And let that old fart do the work? I think not!" Venti said. Then the walking sign light turned green and the two began walking. "No, because the last time I asked him to do that, he bought all the expensive ones and they're not even that good!"
Lumine listened to Venti rant about Zhongli until they reached the grocery store. They both claimed things for their own list and talked while doing so.
"And don't get me started that time he left his wallet." a nerve was popping out of Venti's forehead. "Uh, anyways. How about you? How are you?"
"I'm doing okay. Just drowned myself in school work that's all." Lumine explained. "I have one more year to go through and I'll finally be free."
"Yeah, it feels surreal that I'll be graduating soon." Venti said. "Time flies so fast. I can't believe I'm at my final year."
"Mm-hm." Lumine nodded. "I'm gonna miss seeing you around campus, Venti."
"Me too, Lumine." Venti smiled and then checks the chips aisle. "Oh, I better get some Lays– oh! Sour Cream Lays!"
Lumine's ear heat up hearing it, remembering something. "Are you gonna give those to Xiao?"
Venti then stopped on his tracks before looking back at Lumine, holding four large bags of Lays chips in his arms. "Right. Sorry."
"No need." Lumine faintly smiled and waved her hands lightly. "You're not walking around eggshells. It's fine."
He approached his cart before putting the chips in. "I was genuinely surprised when I found out you two broke-up."
"Well, it is what it is." she said, taking a deep breath. "How is he?"
Venti gave her a sad look, realizing that they haven't been in contact with each other since the break-up. "He's doing fine. I visit him every day since I finally have the free time and his apartment is right next to ours."
"I see." Lumine smiled. "That's good to know."
"I know you two ended in good terms. It's just that, everytime I visit him," Venti stopped in his tracks and Lumine was a few steps forward before stopping to look back at him. "He looks sad."
Lumine stared at him for a few seconds. "Oh."
"It's not your fault in any way or matter. It's just," Venti frowned. "I've known him ever since he moved there and it's not because of his demeanor or whatsoever. Xiao has been really sad lately."
Lumine didn't know how to react or what to say. She didn't want Venti to get involved. "Honestly, things aren't just the same either when we broke up. I guess things will take place eventually and we'll just have to get used to it."
Venti sighed before approaching Lumine again and they continued their grocery shopping. Afterwards, Venti and Lumine walked together until they reached the area where Lumine will take a different route.
"Well, I'm off here now." Lumine stated.
"Can I be honest, Lumi?" Venti asked. Lumine looked at him and nodded. "Xiao's a good guy, sure he can be really timid, but ever since Xiao met you, I could tell there was a change in him and he's gotten more open about himself. So to say being surprised for you two breaking up is an understatement. I was rather disappointed that fate decided not to make you guys lst longer. You two complimented each other really well."
Lumine felt her chest tighten with what Venti said. Instant regret arises for having Lumine involve Xiao in her shenanigans. Has she caused any conflict with Xiao towards his friends? Is this all her fault?
In the end, Lumine was always worried for Xiao.
"I'm not telling you this to put a blame on you or say you're the reason why Xiao is sad. No." Venti sighed and smiled. "I'm saying that you made such a wonderful impact on him, and I'm just really sad this all has lead to a stop. Xiao's gotten happier when he was with you."
Venti gave Lumine a hug. "I'm gonna let you in on a secret Lumi. The other day, I asked Xiao how he was actually feeling. You know what he told me?"
"What?" Lumine waited for Venti to tell her.
"He misses you dearly."
Venti then pulled himself from Lumine's arms before taking the other route. Lumine waved at Venti before turning to the sidewalk where their house is. When she finally arrived at the front steps of their door, she stopped.
"I miss you too." she said as tears swelled up in her eyes before wiping. "So much."
The door suddenly opened and in front of her was Albedo. Realizing the person was Lumine, he felt happy, until he noticed the tears. He felt his heart ache seeing her at this state.
He immediately pulled her in the house and hugged her.
"It's okay." Albedo whispered. "You're okay."
"No, no– I'm sorry. I just felt a little emotional." Lumine explained. "It's not–"
But Albedo didn't let her go. "It's okay."
They stayed there for a few seconds and then Lumine buries her face on Albedo's shoulder. It eventually caved into her the comfort in Albedo's embrace.
Of course he knew Lumine all too well.
"I don't know what to do anymore." Lumine said in a low volume.
Albedo gently pushes her before cupping her face. "Do you want to to talk about it?"
"No– Yes. I–" That waterworks start to form again. "I don't know."
As a matter of fact, she wanted to see Xiao.
"Yo! I told you I had the gochujang here— Lumine?" Aether immediately approached them after seeing Lumine's expression. "What's wrong?"
"Everything." Lumine frowned. "The emails, Chongyun, Xiao– literally everything."
"Come on." Aether placed his arm around Lumine before bringing her to their dining area. "We're making dinner now anyway. Let's eat up first to cheer you up."
Aether was confused. He didn't know what she meant with emails. What emails? Did she send something through emails? Chongyun? Isn't he part of Lumine's friend group? He interacted with the guy a lot of times and he never expected a sweet guy like Chongyun would make Lumine this sad. Xiao? This was kind of expected. The guy was the recent break-up. He was a really good guy and he could tell Lumine loved the guy. Heck, he could tell she's in love with Xiao.
He didn't know what was going on with Lumine and he didn't want to pry as much since he wanted to respect Lumine's decision to handle things on her own.
But seeing her so down for a long while now always worries him and he it's hard for him to see her going through it.
She's his little sister after all.

The whole dinner, Lumine was silent. She just ate her dinner and didn't say a single word. No one wanted to start the conversation because they wanted to wait until Lumine was ready. She was upset and they didn't want to push or rush her and overwhelm her.
Aether took her empty plate and they began to clear up the table. They all cleaned up in silence too.
Aether kept looking at Lumine.
Albedo wanted to talk to her.
Lumine just wanted to keep her mind off things so she decided to wash the dishes.
Afterwards, Albedo received a message from his mom so he had to leave. Aether was still in the process of cleaning stuff so Lumine walked with Albedo to their door.
"Text me later?" Albedo asked.
Lumine looked at him and smiled. "Yes."
"Promise?" Albedo lifted his pinky towards Lumine.
"What are you? Six?" Lumine chuckled before locking Albedo's pinky with hers. "I promise."
Albedo then leaned forward and kissed Lumine's cheek before bidding her a farewell.
She watched him leave as she held her cheek, a little warm realizing Albedo kissed her. She apprexiated the gesture but she was still conflicted. She closed the door before walking her way upstairs to her room.
She may have kept herself composed the entire dinner, but Archons, emotions are still high.
