Summary
An Our Flag Means Death gay bar social media AU
Newly out and separated from Mary, Stede stumbles into his Minneapolis neighborhood gay bar, Jackie's Place, on Pirate Night. The crew adopts him and with a Grindr tap, his life changes. Ed, a disenchanted leather daddy, is fascinated with Stede at first sight. Hijinks ensue.

I interpreted SMAU in this way: the fic is written in group chats, Instagram posts, Twitter threads, and text threads, interspersed with interludes of narrative.
There is no on-page sex but there is a lot of frank discussion of sex/NSFW visual content in this fic. Be warned.
Word count is actually ~20k
I coded this so that the images would scale to the size of your screen. On my side of things, it's best read on a phone.
