''This is a joke, right?'' Rin looked at Sesshomaru, who as far as she was concerned, was now her mortal enemy.
''Afraid not,'' Sesshomaru grunted.
''Rinny.'' Rin looked over the door of the diner Kagome asked her to meet at and as soon as got close enough, pulled her into her arms. ''Kagome! Are you alright? I was so worried!''
Kagome smiled. ''Oh, Rinny. I'm absolutely wonderful!'' Rin raised an eyebrow at her. ''Sit, Rin. I have something important to talk with you about.'' Rin slowly sat down in the booth occupied by Inuyasha's family and now her. ''What's going on, Kagome?'' Rin asked her.
Kagome blushed. ''Rin, this is Inuyasha. We met last night at the party.''
Rin nodded. ''Uh huh. Nice to meet you, Inuyasha. I'm Rin.''
Inuyasha nodded and shook her hand. ''Nice to meet you. I've heard good things.'' Inuyasha turned to look at his parents and brother. ''Mom. Dad. Bastard. This is Kagome.''
''Hello,'' Kagome shook their hands.
''She's lovely, Inuyasha,'' Izayoi smiled. Inutashio nodded in agreement.
''Did you call us all here to tell us you're dating now?'' Rin questioned with a raised eyebrow.
''Not exactly. Rin, you know I don't believe in love at first sight but now...'' Kagome shrugged and looked for help towards Inuyasha.
''What she's trying to say is, we called everyone here because we figured you'd want to be apart of our wedding,'' Inuyasha finally said.
Rin looked at everyone with confusion. ''I'm sorry, what.''
''Rinny, you know me. I don't rush into things and I am not a risk taker but..I know this is right. I just want your support and I need a maid of honor,'' Kagome shrugged with a smile.
''Mom, Dad. I know you think I'm reckless and hard headed but, this is what I've been waiting for. I finally found the woman I'll love for the rest of my life,'' Inuyasha smiled at his parents, looking for their support.
''How long do I have to put a wedding together?'' Izayoi asked with a grin causing her husband to chuckle.
Kagome and Inuyasha looked at each other. ''A month.''
Rin sighed and shook her head. ''I will not wear an ugly bridesmaid dress.''
Kagome squealed and wrapped her arms around her cousin. ''Oh, thank you! Thank you!''
''You gotta be my best man, Fluffy Asshole,'' Inuyasha told his brother. Sesshomaru grunted.
''Nevermind I'm not going,'' Rin stood up but was pulled back into her cousin's arms. ''Pleeeease, Rinny.''
Rin glared at Sesshomaru. ''Fine.''
Kagome grinned. ''Oh, thank you, Rin! I just know you and Sesshomaru will make sure everything goes smoothly for our wedding.''
Rin and Sesshomaru glared hatefully at each other while everyone else began to make plans. They had a month. They only had to get along for a month. They could do that..right?
