Chapter Text
Three years later
Tires made a loud shrieking sound as they spun against the asphalt.
Hyunjin quickly checked the rearview mirror, watching the two cars behind him trying to catch up, their headlights coming closer and closer, making the blood in his veins rush faster.
With a grin he took a sharp left turn, accelerating as he drove forward, leaving marks of his tires on the streets next to Han River. One of the cars pulled up right next to his own and he glanced at the other driver, sending a quick smirk as he pressed harder on the gas pedal and their engines purred in harmony.
His heart was pounding harder and harder, his clammy hands tight against the leather steering wheel, his car driving forward faster, faster, faster until it blazed across the finish line, followed closely by the shining pink car with two wings carved on top of its hood. Wings that Hyunjin was more than familiar with, wings he’d drawn with his own hand.
The two cars spun before they parked right before each other, headlights almost kissing as their engines vibrated loudly.

Wooyoung’s POV
‘You’re friends with red and pink?’
The boy hummed lazily as he leaned back to San’s chest, taking a long drag of his cigarette before he released clouds of smoke towards the night sky.
‘Friends, neighbours, partners in crime, call it what you want’, he chuckled as he tilted his head towards the newcomer, his eyebrow lifted up while a cheeky grin rested high on his face.
‘That’s perfect then’, a wide boxy smile showed on the man’s face, dark bangs almost entirely covering his eyes.
Wooyoung stared for a moment, then two.
Until his cigarette fell flat on the asphalt under him, at the same time as he felt San gasping behind him.
‘You- you’re’, his eyes widened as he pointed a finger towards the tall man whose smile turned into a sly grin instead.
‘K-Kim Taehyung?’, Wooyoung almost squealed, pushing himself off San to turn towards the man while he stared at him with wide eyes of disbelief.
‘I’m honoured that people still recognise me in South Korea’, the man said with a hand to his heart, his expression a mixture of shyness and pride, long eyelashes fluttering slowly as his presence felt both intimidating and cosy.
‘Are you kidding? You’re a legend’, Wooyoung said with excitement that made Taehyung giggle while he pushed his hands down the pockets of his jeans and his shoulders lifted up in a shrug.
‘When d-did you come back to Seoul? I uh, thought you’re still in America’, regardless of his attempts to sound as cohesive as possible, Wooyoung still fumbled over his words, feeling way too star-struck and as if he’s dreaming.
‘Ah’, the man chuckled softly, ‘Me and my husband decided to expand our branches in South Korea so we’ve come back’, Taehyung looked to the side, nodding his head towards someone and when Wooyoung followed his gaze he wasn’t surprised to find Jeon Jungkook, the man Taehyung had announced his marriage to two years ago.
Jeon Jungkook - one of the most famous designers in the USA.
Married to one of the best racers in South Korea and the owner of a rising Automotive company.
‘That’s so fucking cool oh my god’, Wooyoung gasped, eliciting another small laugh from the older one who brushed the edges of his bangs to the side before wetting his lips.
‘Also uh, do you…Have you really trained Felix?’, he almost whispered, palm covering his mouth as if sharing a secret that had Taehyung’s eyes crinkle in a wide smile.
‘I did yes’, he almost sang the words, ‘Actually, around the time of when we decided to come back, we went past his social media and well, Jungkook really liked his work, he’s always favoured gender-neutral clothes designs’, Wooyoung’s eyes widened at that.
‘So we were going to reach out earlier but hmm’, Taehyung smirked as the ten racing cars moved closer to the finish line, the red one leading all of them with the pink right behind it.
‘I was surprised that he’s in a serious relationship, he’s never been into dating before so when I checked out his partner, I almost laughed at how good of a car designer he is, it felt nearly ridiculous, both of them having the same design styles for clothes and cars that me and Guk love?’, Wooyoung could only blink in shock, his mouth gaping as he already felt the excitement growing in him, seeing where this was going, already imagining Hyunjin and Felix’s faces when they heard-
‘So we want to offer them to work with us, hope they’re not snatched by better companies already’, Taehyung grinned widely just as Hyunjin crossed the finish line.

Hyunjin’s POV
He waited behind the wheel for several seconds, taking deep breaths as his heart still paced in his chest. He brushed down the two locks of black strands that fell on both sides of his forehead and reached the middle of his cheeks, the top half of his hair tied in a half-bun while the rest tickled his nape.
With a crack to his neck and after wiping down some of his sweat with a towel, he came out of his car. The cheers nearly deafened him, the screams ‘Flame’ and ‘Angel’ making him giggle, his head high as he waved at the people, more than half of which he knew had come here to watch Hyunjin and Felix specifically.
The rival couple.
The talk of the capital.
The talk of South Korea.
He heard the low sound of heels against the asphalt and immediately glanced in that direction, his grin growing wider at the sight.
With his tight black dress stopping right under his ass and the cropped leather jacket thrown on top of it, Felix looked just as breath-taking as he did each time Hyunjin laid his eyes on him.
When he was close enough, Hyunjin grabbed his wrist and pulled the man to himself, making Felix look up to him with a glint to his eyes.
‘Caught you’, the man smirked, raising a giggle from his lover whose hand trailed down Hyunjin’s black button up.
‘You’re almost there Flame but don’t think I’ll go easy on you, I’m not giving up my first spot easily’, Felix’s eyebrow crooked up cockily, the expression making Hyunjin lick his lips as his eyes fell down to the brunette’s mouth.
‘Oh, I know you won’t, Angel’, he murmured, tracing Felix’s necklace with the tips of his fingers before he lowered himself down.
‘But I’m closer than I used to be, hmm? Ten wins more before I take the throne’, he spoke right against Felix’s lips, deaf to the dozens of people around them that waited for the couple to interact with them.
‘Let me see you try, lover’, Felix whispered, his sweet breath hitting Hyunjin and successfully sweeping him off his feet even years later.
When he crashed their mouths together in a lewd kiss while his hand squeezed Felix’s waist before lowering down to his ass, all other noises completely disappeared. The only thing that existed for him then and there being Felix’s groans as their tongues swirled against each other in-between their cars, in the middle of the large crowd that circled them.
He couldn’t wait to get back to their apartment, couldn’t wait to spend the rest of the night taking Felix apart, moaning at the thought of swimming between his thighs.
‘Oi, champions’, Wooyoung’s voice made Hyunjin groan in annoyance but his attempts to ignore him were washed away when Felix pulled away from the kiss with a giggle.
‘Leave the make out sessions for later, someone wants to talk to you.’
