Work Text:
It been three months since Hyun su move back to their house. At first, he worried that he will dissapoint his wife and daughter. He was afraid that the perfect picture that he painted for them was all a lie and they will hated him when they finally lived with his true self. How very wrong he is.
He found out in their first week together that he enjoyed taking care of Jiwon and Eunha. Their smiles for him when he cooks their favourite dish or when he simply did something small for them actually make him smile. He didn't realised it at first until Eunha asked him one morning at breakfast why he smile while seeing her and omma eats? It was the moment when he realised that seeing their happiness are something that he treasured.
Eunha had been a joy to know. She is a bright child and Hyun su is forever marvel at the fact that someone like him is a father to such a brilliant daughter like Eunha. She accepted him as he is and when she finds out about his amnesia she embraced him and tell him either way he is still her appa. Hyun su knew that while Eunha didn't fully understand the consequences of amnesia, she will always love him and that is enough for him. He will work hard to keep that love and give her the father that she deserved.
And Jiwon, his Jiwon is an angel in disguise. She is his rock. Now that they lived together, he realised he couldn't live a life where she wasn't his. He understood now why during the time they were apart, he felt like he was incomplete, it was because his other half is Jiwon and will forever be hers. The thought of losing her scared him and he knew now that while he is living with another man identity, his love for her has always be true. That's why he couldn't stand it when she cry, it hurts him when she is sad, the emotion she stirred within his heart was all because he truly loves her.
It's a second chance for him to truly live his life. It's a time for him to embrace his past, his name and himself. With Jiwon and Eunha, it's time to rebuild their family life together and pave their way to happiness. He wouldn't take his second chance for granted. He couldn't. Not when life has been so generous to him to give him a family that willing to embrace and love every part of him. A family that accept and love him for his true self. He couldn't throw that away. Never.
