It was him - it was always him.
The one who Kristoph said always tripped him up - the one he would say would continue to trip him up. The one who had put his brother in jail.
The nerve of some.Klavier whipped around, seeing the defense attorney at the door of his office.
Papers were scattered around him, and coffee was half spilled onto his carper. His music played some kind of his music - his older, more brooding music (or, as Kristoph put it, his angsty music)
Not now. Klavier gritted his teeth. Don’t think about that man.<br />
His own brother - the one he had just visited today. After Daaryn was put in jail, the angry face he had grown up with staring definitely at the courtroom. Caught in a scheme with his own traps. Something he had never been quite good at - covering his own tracks.
