Chapter Text

Lumine decided to wear the outfit she usually wore.

Unknowing what the date would entail with Tartaglia, she waited where she was told to wait. It was nighttime, hoping that the male would've made time for her tonight. It was an odd request to meet so late, but Lumine wouldn't question it if Tartaglia did arrive. Of course, there were doubts since he was a busy man, but surely he would make time for Lumine if he genuinely liked her, right? Lumine didn't know what to think. Sure, she had a slight crush on Tartaglia. They would spar weekly at the Golden House, redoing their first battle again, but it was a friendly encounter. Lumine was able to beat Tartaglia repeatedly, but it didn't seem to damage his pride. That's what Lumine liked about him. Even though a girl was beating him, he was still all smiles whenever they ran into each other. He seemed tired after, but it was a given since his body endures so much going into his other form.

That... Form... Lumine will admit, it was an attractive form.

"You seem in deep thought, girlie," Tartaglia pressed a hand to her shoulder, a small smile on his face. "Whatcha thinking about, hm?"

"You." Lumine shrugged.

"Honest... I like it. Come with me. Have you eaten?"

"I did, yes. I had to do something while I waited around for you. Did you eat?"

"I did," Tartaglia smiled. "Luckily, this isn't planned to be a dinner date anyways. So instead, we're going to Yaoguang Shoal. I know you were there only yesterday, but I think it would be nice to get our feet wet together, yes?"

Lumine raised a brow, crossing her arms in confusion. Tartaglia only gave her another warm, refreshing smile before grasping her hand and tugging her along. They headed towards Yaoguang together, hitting up one of the teleport waypoints to get there faster. Lumine wanted to question the purpose of this date in the first place, but it was nice that it was something simple that they could enjoy. They exchanged many words as they walked to one of the more shallow areas. Of course, there would be Hilichurls about, but perhaps they could handle them together? Hilichurls constantly attacked, no matter the circumstance, so they would have to find themselves in a fight sooner or later.

"Hilichurls," Lumine nudged him. "You want to go fight them together?"

"It's like you read my mind, girlie. I took you out here so we could get a bit of sparring in, maybe kill some things together, and I can manifest some snacks for us that I prepared earlier!" Oh, how romantic... "Does that sound good to you?" Lumine answered by manifesting her sword, smirking at Tartaglia. Then, before he could even say anything, she ran off. "Oh, I'm in love..."

They fought well together. Lumine knew how to use her sword well, Tartaglia following in her footsteps. He had her back as she had his. Together, they were unstoppable. Left and right they went, making this a clearing session just so they could have the beach alone. Tartaglia had planned to spar with Lumine in the first place, but this worked just as well. It was how they've learned to bond over the last two years. Lumine found joy and comfort in being able to kill things in their path. It was refreshing having someone by her sighed to take care of those who were pesky. But, of course, they would respawn later on anyway, so who cared now?

Once they cleared the beach, boots off long ago, Tartaglia decided to splash Lumine with a tiny bit of water with his foot. Lumine stared at him, a little shocked at first, but only did the same in return. Soon enough, they began to splash water at each other, a fit of giggles as they did. Finally, there was nothing to be wary of and no one else in sight, so they could do whatever they desired.

"How about we spar, comrade?"

"Oh, it's comrade now? What about girlie, hm?" Lumine grinned, manifesting her blade. "We'll spar. The first to be knocked off their feet loses. Don't you dare bring a bow to a sword fight."

Tartaglia manifested his hydro blades, grinning back in response. "You're on, girlie."

Tartaglia would be the first out of the two to be knocked off their feet. Lumine was strong and quick, nimble with her size. But, on the other hand, she was so beautiful and tiny; he couldn't help but feel a little turned on by how skilled she was with the blade. Of course, Lumine had 500 years on him, so she was better trained at fighting than anyone he knew. It was an attractive trait of hers to not be easily swayed by Tartaglia. Most girls threw themselves at him in a heartbeat and made themselves too easy. It was a turn-off when they would do these things, not deciding to give worthless whores the time of day. But, Lumine? Lumine wasn't a worthless whore. She was someone who was dignified and held her head up high. She was sarcastic and could be snarky but kind and sweet. There were so many things about her that drew Tartaglia in.

And Tartaglia only hoped that one day he could have her squirming underneath his body, crying out his name, and cumming on his cock. Unfortunately, his thoughts weren't innocent. This entire time they were together, he had many different scenarios playing in his mind. He thought of seducing Lumine and taking her right here, making her all his before anyone else could. Of course, all of this would be with Lumine's consent because he didn't want to mess something good up. While Tartaglia stalked her and watched her, he kept her safe and out of harm's way. Never once did he prey on her as she changed or bathed—he had morals. If his mama ever learned that her son watched a girl naked without their consent, he would be punished even at his age. Oh, he wished he could learn what was underneath that beautiful clothing. Tartaglia could already see how well it clung to her body, but he tried not to focus on that. Unfortunately, it made him slip up, so sparring was proven difficult.

And when Lumine pinned him down to the sandy ground? Tartaglia almost lost it.

"You lost again," Lumine grinned.

"Ah, Lumi—"

Lumine sat down on his lap as Tartaglia moved onto his elbows to try and stop her. He watched as her eyes widened, cheeks flushing a bright red, and she quickly scrambled up. "O-Oh! Oh, my, Archons! I am so sorry!" She hid her face behind her hands, shaking her head quickly. "I didn't feel anything! I swear it!"

Tartaglia could feel his face heat up as he rubbed the back of his neck slowly. "No... I apologize. My body has a mind of its own..."

Lumine bit down on her bottom lip as she gazed at Tartaglia. She had to admit that the flush on his face was attractive, but she wouldn't comment on it. "I-It's okay. Everyone has needs! Ahm..." She shifted on her feet shyly, hands behind her back as her gaze fixated on Tartaglia. "Do you want to take care of that?"

"No! It's not the time! It'll go down..." Tartaglia groaned, pressing a hand to his forehead. "I'm so sorry, Lumine. Forgive me?"

Lumine breathed shakily, running her fingers through her messy hair. She then moved down onto her knees in front of Tartaglia, staring at him. "Look. I don't want to have sex with you—I don't trust you yet. I'm not that easy, and I'll never be that easy. But, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't turned on myself."

"Uh, wait. What?" Tartaglia sat up fully, gazing at her hopefully. "You... Ah... Do  you  want to take care of that?"

"Yes," Lumine nodded. "We're just friends giving each other material, right? In no way are we dating right now. I need to trust you more first, but... It couldn't hurt to do  that  in front of each other, right?" She sat back, knees pressed together as she eyed Tartaglia. "We don't touch each other. We touch ourselves and watch. Got it?"

Tartaglia had to stop himself from grinning at Lumine. Instead, he kept on his nice-boy act, a shy smile on his lips. While he would love to take Lumine right then and there, it was true. "I'm down for this as long as I'm not making you uncomfortable."

"You're not," Lumine smiled. "No one is around for miles, so how about I give you a little treat for being so kind to me, yeah? I don't do this for just anyone, but it's all you will get. Make sure you can keep control of yourself, yeah?"

Tartaglia blinked at her, confused by what she meant. Then, before he could even ask, Lumine lifted her dress up and over her head, setting it to the side. His eyes widened, lips parting as his eyes darted all over her body. Lumine was radiant. Her pale skin glowed underneath the night sky, bra a beautiful white color to blend in with her dress. The bra was quietly taken off before Tartaglia could stop her, catching him off guard. He didn't know what to say or do in this situation. Lumine willingly presented herself naked to Tartaglia on the shore, out in public, where anyone could see them. It was his turn from the look Lumine gave him, and he was quick to oblige. His shirt was undone first, his belt was cast off to the side, and his pants unbuttoned. He then zipped down the zipper of his pants, pushing them down and off his legs so Lumine could see every bit of him. Lumine was a bright red, and Tartaglia could even tell under the moonlight. There were a few campsites around where Hilichurls were stationed, but nothing near them that provided extra light. Just them under the moon and stars.

"Wow..." Lumine breathed, spreading her legs open a little bit. "You're... Not small."

Tartaglia grinned. His confidence grew with her compliment, but surely he could get something more out of her, right? Pushing his underwear down slowly, his cock sprung out from its confines, a soft moan escaping his lips when the cool air hit it. His cock was long and girthy, which wasn't unusual for someone from Snezhnaya. Surely, if he penetrated the petite girl in front of him, he would see her stomach bulge from his cock. Lumine didn't speak up, though. Instead, she stared in shock, mouth wide open with said shock as she squirmed where she sat. She had something else to present herself, which she did so more than willingly. She slipped down the cotton panties she wore but pressed her knees together in a fit of embarrassment. First, it was exposing her breasts to a Fatui Harbinger. Now it was her own lower half?!

"C'mon, Lumine..." Tartaglia chuckled. "Don't be so shy now. You're the one who suggested this, aren't you? Now, if you're uncomfortable, please tell me, love."

Lumine shook her head quickly. On the contrary. She was more turned on than she had ever been in her life. Sex wasn't a thing she did on her travels. She was constantly around her brother. She might have seduced someone here and there, but it never went that far. Not once. Her inexperience might catch up to her, but she wasn't inexperienced when touching herself. Lumine spread her legs out slowly, making sure they were spread wide so Tartaglia could get a good look. "No. Touching. Got it?"

"I got it," Tartaglia breathed shakily. "Fuck..." He felt his cock twitch, running his fingers through his messy hair as he eyed her up and down. She leaned back slightly, giving Tartaglia an even better view. "You're beautiful, Lumine... You're so beautiful." He couldn't help but give his cock a few pumps as he gazed at her, licking his lips slowly.

"Ah..." Lumine huffed, puffing out her cheeks as she watched the male. Under watching eyes, she felt nervous. Her whole body began trembling as one hand made its way down to her aching cunt. She was dripping wet, and she knew this, but it was embarrassing to admit it. "Nngh..." Her fingers pressed against her folds, sliding slowly across them as her thumb rolled across her clit. She could see Tartaglia playing with his own cock, rubbing the tip with his thumb as his gaze was heavy and focused on her.

Lumine rolled her hips slowly as she worked her clit. She watched Tartaglia move his hand up and down, hearing soft groans escape his lips as he worked himself. Tartaglia only wished he could push himself inside the erotic girl right in front of him. She was alluring underneath the moonlight. If he could take her right here and right now, he wouldn't let her sleep a wink that night. The way her fingers moved against her folds and worked her clit, her body trembled, and the sounds of her moans were delightful. Tartaglia wished he could watch her come undone from his cock alone, not her fingers. But, for now, he would watch as she played around with the outside of her cunt, his own breathing ragged as he squeezed his cock tightly. Oh, she must be so tight... Tartaglia watched as she shifted, spreading her legs out even wider as she slipped a finger slowly inside her body. Goddamn it. Tartaglia would go crazy if he kept watching, but he knew he could do nothing.

"Nghhh... Ahh...~" Lumine wriggled her finger inside of her body. It didn't feel like enough, but she couldn't say anything about that. " Tartaglia ..." She moaned, pumping her finger in and out of her body slowly. Finally, she slipped a second finger inside herself, her breath hitching as she arched her back. "It feels... Good..."

Tartaglia grit his teeth. His whole body was trembling, pumping his hand faster as he watched Lumine pump her slender fingers inside her body. It must not have been enough because if it were his cock, he'd have her cumming all over it in no time. In fact, Tartaglia could tell it wasn't enough when Lumine dipped a third finger inside of her aching cunt, causing him to grin in satisfaction as he matched the pace to the thrusting of Lumine's fingers. It was satisfying to know that what she had on her mind was his own cock. Surely, she had some dirty fantasy playing in her head.  Good . Tartaglia wanted her thoughts plagued with just him. But, of course, if he found out Lumine thought of someone else, he would have to get involved. Would he kill someone? No, but teaching them a lesson would suffice enough. Hands. Off. Lumine was his and his alone. Tartaglia was possessive over her. It became an unhealthy obsession that he couldn't quite shake, but he could control to the best of his ability. The man had morals, and he was going to stick by them.

" Lumine ..." Tartaglia growled out, his gaze filled with lust. "It doesn't look like enough with how desperate your hips move."

"Shut... Shut up..." Lumine bit back with bitter words. Her head must be a poor little mess, riddled with the confusion of the situation. "I don't want... to hear it... Ugh, oh~!" There it was. She found her sweet spot, rubbing against it gently as she shifted her position to try and get her fingers on her other hand to rub against her clit. She was close, on the edge of orgasm, and she wanted to show Tartaglia that she could do it all independently.

Their moans mingled together. Tartaglia pumped his cock as fast as possible, matching Lumine's pace as she fucked her pussy harshly. Lumine was coming undone by her own fingers, but she craved  more . They yearned for more while being across from one another, but Tartaglia made a promise in his head, and he wouldn't break it. He wouldn't hurt Lumine, even though his own passions might make it harder for himself. Lumine was delicate in his mind, an innocent girl who saw many more world wonders than he did. He determined that she was a virgin right away from her movements alone, and it only added more fuel to the raging fire. But, Lumine was holding back. She was determined to show Tartaglia everything she had, which only turned him on more.

"Lumi... 'm going to cum..." Tartaglia groaned, tempted to tilt his head back and allow himself to embrace the pleasure, but he wanted to watch Lumine the entire time. Lumine never broke her own gaze away from him because the feelings were all mutual.

"Me... Me too...! Oh!" Lumine gasped out, eyes wide with pleasure as she rocked her hips as hard as she could, moans getting louder and louder until finally, she came. No, she  squirted . That was enough to make Tartaglia shoot his load, uncaring where it would land as he pumped himself through his own orgasm. "Eeek~!"

Tartaglia breathed out shakily, coming down from his high quickly when he realized where his cum  did  land. "Oh, shit! I'm so sorry!"

Sticky cum dripped down Lumine's thighs. Tartaglia hadn't thought they were close enough, but apparently, they were. He scrambled to see what he could do to clean up, but Lumine giggled softly to see his panicked expression. "Silly... We have an ocean right next to us. Come on... Your... Um..." She shifted a little shyly. "Your  cock  is all sticky."

"How vulgar, girlie~." Tartaglia chuckled, standing up to hold his hand out and help her out. "I like it. Keep acting that way, and I won't be able to hold back." He pulled her up gently, pressing her naked body against his. He then tugged her towards the ocean so they could soak their bodies in the salty water. "Thank you for trusting me, even if it's only a little."

Lumine felt flustered all over again. Words tried to escape her lips, but nothing came out. So instead, she silently walked behind Tartaglia, gripping tightly onto his hand as they walked into the water. The water was cold against her body, but Tartaglia pulled her close, and she felt warmth surround her. He moved his hands down to ensure the cum rubbed Lumine's skin. While they wouldn't be too clean, at least there wasn't dried cum on her thighs. It was a bit embarrassing to admit that they did such a thing together. Both Lumine and Tartaglia stayed there in silence, Tartaglia holding her close to keep her from shivering too much. Once done, they slipped into their clothing and tried to make small talk. Lumine regretted everything while Tartaglia was marveling at his small victory. They both had two different mindsets when it came to anything that concerned each other. Who could Lumine talk to about this?

She didn't know.

Their date resumed as they walked alongside the beach together. Tartaglia brought out some snacks to munch on, practically glowing in happiness as they talked. He could tell Lumine was thinking hard about everything, but he could care less. The girl he had been watching for months had presented herself in front of him lewdly. It was a dream come true! Maybe his life would get better after all?

"Ah... The time," Lumine spoke up. "Paimon must be worried about me. I should get going. She's also with Xiangling again, so it would be rude of me to leave her there any longer."

Tartaglia huffed. He was a little disappointed that Lumine was willing to leave so soon because of her pesky friend, but there was nothing he could do about it. "I figured. Perhaps we can do something earlier in the day next time. Maybe for longer?"

"Maybe," Lumine smiled. "I'm sorry it has to be so short. I'm... I'm a bit embarrassed with myself now, so I hope you don't mind?"

Tartaglia chuckled gently, moving in front of her to place a gentle kiss on her cheek. He then shook his head, "Why would I mind? At least I got to spend time with you. It's usually your flying friend doing all the talking, so it's refreshing to hear you speak this much. Even if it's for a short time, I'm grateful, Lumine."

Lumine was flushed, her cheeks burning a bright red. She then pouted, crossing her arms before saying her goodbyes and rushing off. She'd teleport, knowing her, and Tartaglia would miss her presence. Nevertheless, getting to spend this time with her was truly refreshing. It reminded him that there was more to life than being a Harbinger. Because he met Lumine, he didn't regret being a part of the Fatui in the first place. If Tartaglia had never become the Eleventh Fatui Harbinger, he would have never met Lumine. Fate was funny that way. He had a small ounce of regret all his life since he could barely see his family, and he had to be secretive, but now he wasn't regretful. Tartaglia was happy and filled with hope, hoping that he could introduce Lumine to his family as his bride one day. Maybe that was far down the line, or perhaps it was impossible since she wanted to find her brother, but Tartaglia was a little determined to have it happen but wouldn't force it. He wanted Lumine to love him on her own conditions, not his own, even if he did watch her every move when he could.

Lumine's mind was a mess. She had to get out so many different thoughts, but she didn't want to put poor Xiangling through it. She could tell that Xiangling wished to know, but Lumine said she couldn't tell her for her own sanity. Who could she talk to give her helpful advice on navigating the situation with Tartaglia? Zhongli knew Tartaglia well enough, but wouldn't it be awkward for her to speak with him about something like this? Lumine thought about keeping it all inside, considering that her only option  was  Zhongli, but... If she kept it all inside, she felt like she could burst.

So, Lumine set off to find him. When she did, her cheeks were flushed, and she didn't quite know what to say. It took her a moment to approach him, but she could see the surprise on Zhongli's face when she did.

"Traveler? Is everything alright?"

Lumine groaned softly, rubbing the back of her neck as she glanced off to the side. "I... This is so awkward, but I have no one else to really discuss this with? It's about Childe,"

"Ah," Zhongli nodded his head. "I know of the situation partially. I saw you two together when I was doing business in Liyue for the Director. Care to explain what is happening there?"

Lumine squeaked.  Oh. She should have figured she would've been seen. Who else knows? "We... He took me out for dinner as a treat for helping with his brother so long ago. I don't understand why he did it now, but he is interested in me. We... Spent tonight together on the beach.  Things  did happen, and I need a friend to tell me what to do."

"A friend?" Zhongli couldn't help but smile at this. "I am glad you are willing to confide in me in such a personal matter. I can say, though, that he is a tricky man, and you must be careful around him. He does not seem to lie much around you, and I have seen how he looks at you. But, on the other hand, he was so willing to trust you with his own brother means that his feelings are genuine. If you truly do like Childe and think you can keep yourself from saying anything confidential or giving too much information, do what you desire." He pressed a hand to Lumine's shoulder, giving her comfort. "You are a smart one, Traveler. I know very little about relationships, and your situation is tricky since he is a dangerous man. So be careful, but do not let yourself suffer. Do not keep such feelings in, but take your time with him. Getting into a relationship so quick might be a mistake if you do not know his true intentions."

Wise... Zhongli was wise. He didn't judge Lumine for what she was going through, and it meant the world to her. "Thank you..." Lumine whispered, pressing her own hand on top of his. "I really appreciate you, Zhongli. I am sorry for the awkward encounter and only hope you don't view me differently."

"Why would I?" Zhongli tilted his head to the side. "You are only human." Lumine nodded her head. He was right about that. She was bound to have feelings, even if she did live for so long, traveling with her brother. "As for 'things,' what did you mean by this?"

"I-I should go!" Lumine perked up, eyes wide with shock. She turned to leave, but Zhongli stopped her, raising a brow at her actions. "I don't want to talk about it! Don't make me!"

"Alright, alright... I can guess what it was from your reaction. Be careful."

Lumine nodded her head in reply. "I will. I promise." She could feel her heart beating wildly against her own chest. It was crazy to think that someone told her to go for it. She would take her time with everything, not wanting to overdo it, but today already felt like a stretch. Tartaglia already saw parts of her that no one else in Teyvat had seen before. It was a lot to think about all at once, but Zhongli had been helpful.

Lumine left the Funeral Parlor after a little small talk with the male. Her mind was still a bit of a mess, but it would stay that way for a while. For now, she decided that she would head to her teapot and rest for the evening. But, instead of falling asleep, she spent the entire night thinking about what she had done with Tartaglia and her feelings toward him. It was too soon to even act on them, but some people might think it shouldn't be. However, Lumine had known Tartaglia for quite some time now, and he did have some redeemable qualities. Yes, he's done many bad things, but they didn't matter when it came to her feelings.

What a headache... Maybe she could settle it at some point, but Lumine had to find a way to fall asleep for now. It was complicated with her mind a jumbled mess, but getting rid of some Hilichurls and doing her commissions early in the morning would definitely help. Soon enough, Lumine's mind had settled, and she had forgotten about all of the frustrations from yesterday, deciding that today was a new day and she had things to do. The Chasm needed more exploration as there was more treasure to be found, and she still needed to see if there were more clues to her brother's whereabouts. That's right... Lumine shouldn't lose focus on trying to find her brother and see if she can save him.

Was saving even an option for Aether? Another headache.

And a few more headaches followed.

Notes:

A bit of a smaller chapter, but I hope you all liked it! I decided to make it a little spicy for some enjoyment, but THAT'S IT!
