Chapter Text
'Just like Sicheng helped Johnny get with Taeil, this is my time to shine. Time to get Donghyuck and Mark together' he said to himself, and silently made his way out of the restroom. He silently celebrated outside of the restroom as he was able to get them both alone.
You see, Donghyuck had been crushing on Mark for as long as Yuta can remember. Hyuck has been attracted to the Canadian boy. But he's too much of a coward to admit it. Yet here they were now, alone.
Just then, he felt someone touch his shoulder. He turned around, and it was Sicheng. Man, he thought, it's so weird to see himself in the third person point of view. "What we're you doing in there? And with MY body?" Sicheng asked.
Yuta let out a giggle and said "I got Mark & Donghyuck together, suck on that" he said, brushing his shoulder.
"Okay, you can do that, but not on my body!" Sicheng exclaimed. At this point Yuta was beyond confused. "Why?"
"I have a reputation to withhold, and it's the bad boy reputation. I will not allow you to ruin that for me" he said. Yuta rolled his eyes at the male. Was he really this full of himself? He never thought someone who used to be his best friend would turn out so....annoying.
"Maybe if you were actually nicer to people, your girlfriend would like you" Yuta said, not really paying mine into what he said. Until he realized, he's in Sicheng's body. Sicheng is in his, there is no way he has not found out what Joohyun thinks about him.
As the thoughts evaded his brain, he clamped him hand over his mouth before looking over to Sicheng. Sicheng just stared at him in disbelief, truly trying to keep tears from falling, from what Yuta could tell.
He looked up while nodding before repeating Yuta's words to himself "Maybe if I was nicer to people, she would like me more huh? I know she plans on breaking up with me, but oh shit it just hurts. I liked her for so long, we ruin our friendship because of her, you think I didn't notice Nakamoto?!" At this point Sicheng's voice was getting louder.
People started to crowd around them, not fully aware of the situation. However, Sicheng was too far gone, his anger taking over him. Completely forgetting that nobody knows about their secret.
As Yuta noticed the people circling around them, he looked wide eyed at Sicheng. Trying to make some kind of communication for him to not mention the situation.
Before Sicheng could make any other remark, Yuta grabbed his hand and ran away. By this point, most of the students had taken their cameras out as they thought a fight was about to erupt. They lived for that kind of stuff, but they all let out a displeased sigh when Yuta ran away with Sicheng. Or as they saw it, Sicheng forced Yuta out of there.
Yuta ran, which was convenient now with his long legs. He ran as fast as he could, so that he could bring Sicheng to a more private place where they could argue. Finally, reaching once again the garden where they met earlier that morning.
When they reached it, Sicheng yanked his hand back. Looking at Yuta with crazy eyes.
"Do you think I'm blind? Do you seriously believe I don't know!!!!" He exclaimed, having pent up this feeling in his heart for so long.
"What are you talking about?" Yuta said calmly.
"You like Joohyun! I know you like her! Do you think I'm fucking dumb!?" The statement that came out of the others mouth made Yuta freeze in place.
"W-what?" He asked.
"Oh my god, do not play innocent with me! You think I didn't know in Middle School?? I've always known! You only take stuff away from me, first my dad, then my girlfriend, and now my life!? Who gave you the right Nakamoto!" He said, finally not being able to hold back the tears this time around.
"Just do whatever the fuck you want!"
"Wait no, we have to meet up this afternoon. You have to teach me your language! I expect you at my apartment by 7pm!" He said.
Sicheng just stuck out his middle finger as he walked away, and yelled "Whatever!"
Damn, dealing with this boy was a nightmare for Yuta. He wanted to tell him how fucking much he hates him. No doubt as time goes by, he's going to end up hating him even more.
👑
"7pm " read the clock on Yuta's phone. He waited by the school gates as he knew Sicheng had probably stayed for boxing, or any other sport he's in. They were the same in that sense, their love for sports stronger than anything.
He waited and waited, till he started to get sleepy. As he was about to close his eyes, somebody poked his shoulder.
He rubbed his eyes, and looked up. It was Sicheng, once again the act of having to look at his own body, strange.
"Let's go, i want to tell send my mom a message, and I need my phone to do that" he said. Yuta nodded, and stood up. He made his way back to the apartment while Sicheng just followed. Yes he woke up there, but he did not exactly remember how to get there. He was desperate trying to find out what happened that he didn't exactly get to see how to get there.
Soon, they were already Yuta's apartment. Sicheng sitting on the floor as Yuta went to his kitchen to make something to eat. Sicheng looked around, 'So this is where I'm going to be living on, or at least until we get things sorted out', he told himself.
It was quite spacious. Probably a little too much considering that Yuta lived alone. No words were exchanged, they were just there. Not saying anything to each other. Sicheng took his original phone, and texted his mom.
'I'll be staying at a friends house for a while, don't worry ma. It's just for studying reasons' he wanted to cry as soon as he sent that message. Words could not describe how much he missed his mother.
The thought that he might not be able to see her again, killed him.
He wiped away the tears falling from his eyes, when his mother replied to him. It was a voice message. He loved that his mother always sent him voice messages because she was too lazy to type a full paragraph for him.
'Chengie, remember not to sleep late. Get lots of rest, I'm glad you're focusing on your studies. Please text me when you're coming back'
She said, making Sicheng smile. Just as he was going to reply to her, Yuta came in the room. Sicheng's face finally dropping.
"I saw you smiling, what happened?" He asked placing the pot of noodles on the table in between them. "My, my mom replied back to me, I miss her" he said, plainly, not even looking at Yuta. Well himself, but Yuta.
It was so weird to him, seeing himself. But it wasn't him.
He grabbed one of the small plates, and placed noodles in them before eating some.
"So what are we going to do?" Yuta said. Sicheng shrugged his shoulders. What could they possibly do?
"Go to a hospital, that way they'll put us in a mental asylum for the rest of our lives" he finally spoke up, making Yuta choke on the noodles he was eating.
"You're kidding right, let's try like in that movie. Freaky Friday! We should just bump into each other" Yuta said.
"No shit Sherlock, did it work for them?" Sicheng said, making Yuta rethink everything. He was right, it was just a movie, but it didn't work. He thought about long and hard.
Nothing, truly nothing came to his mind about how they could fix this. He sighed in defeat.
"What if we try to get along, like they did in the movie?"
