In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
The land and the sea - the sun and the stars -
(The way She shone, She might have come with the sun).
Fishes and birds - animals and humans -
And God rested and blessed the day and he, he who was nothing more than a man,
a mere project, a draft of Adam, without an Eve,
he who served no purpose but to exist,
found life on the seventh blessed day in a fluttering of wings,
and in the way She shone - hasn’t he said it before?
The way She shone, She might have come with the sun.
Notes:
this is a poem that will not be part of a larger story - it's just something that popped into my mind. However, I will / am starting a 'series' of pieces of writing that "just pop into my mind", this being the first part - so if you're interested in reading unrelated pieces of TVD writing (because yes, it will be a TVD/TO 'series' and even though i did not write their names, i did write this as though She is Caroline and he is niklaus) please stay tuned !
