Summary
This wasn’t Jolyne’s first time traveling through the woods by herself. Far from it, actually– she has traversed this path for as long as she can remember, befriending many of the woodland residents that lived in the space between her mother’s home and her father’s cabin. Still, every time she was sent out on her own, Jolyne was given the same reminder: never talk to someone you don’t know, for even the friendliest strangers can have the worst intentions.
