Work Text:
Silence fell in the house as you sat at the kitchen table. It had just two chairs directly across from each other- one for you and one for your Fiance, William. You stared at the table, hearing the quiet buzz through your ears. You heard a car door shut outside, ‘It must be William.’ you thought, getting up from your seat and padding down the stairs to the front door. You peeked out the window that was by the door, you saw him getting his work bag from the other side of the car., grabbing his work bag and a plastic bag. You wondered what he could possibly have inside of the bag, you shrugged it off as you opened the door for him. He trotted up the stairs, looking up to see your face.
“Good afternoon love,” William greeted you, his rough hands coming to your soft face caressing your cheek and dragging his long, boney finger down your lip. He kissed you softly. You smiled into the short kiss. “How was work?” You asked as he held onto your waist, walking you both into the house. “It was horrible today, Henry burnt up the circuit board for one of my animatronics.” He sighed softly as he climbed the carpeted stairs, his shoes leaving slight prints as he walked. “Aw. I hope you can get it working, who’s circuit board?” You questioned, “Chica, I was working on a Funtime variant for her.” He replied sitting his two bags down on the small dining table. “Ohh, well- I just put dinner in the oven. It’ll be ready soon.” You looked up into his dark silver eyes, admiring the way your kitchen's light illuminated them. “Hm, alright love. What did you make?” He asked, slipping his tie out of its knot. “Oh, I just made some lemon-pepper chicken cutlets. Do you want something else with it?” You walked behind the large island in the middle of the kitchen. “No, what you’ve already made is fine.” He sighed heavily as he traipsed into the living room and plopped down on the couch.
You smiled, leaning over the counter just watching as he did so. You noticed that his shoes were still on so you walked in and stood in front of him. “It looks like you’ve had a bad day. May I take your shoes off?” You watched as he chuckled, “Yes dear,” You untied the several loops that were tied on the shoe and took it off placing it on the floor by his other foot, you then did the same to the other shoe. “Thanks, honey.” He lovingly cracked a smile at the fact you noticed that his shoes needed to be taken off, such a diligent, wonderful partner he had. William patted his leg, “Why don’t we sit here and watch the news before dinner is ready?” He extended his hand to you, you latched onto it and pulled yourself up into his lap. He breathed heavily as you found a comfortable position on his groin. “You alright?” You asked, leaning into his chest as your head found its way to the crook of his neck- fitting together like a puzzle piece.
He gulped, “Yeah, I’m alright love.” He smooched the top of your head as you lay on him, eyes focused on the tv. You two were sat there until the six o’clock news was practically over. Just then the oven sounded a beep. “A-ah!” You exclaimed, it scared you right up out of his warm embrace. All he did was chuckle as he moved so you could get up off the couch. You laughed embarrassed and walked out of the living room and into the kitchen. “How many pieces do you want?” You asked as you got the green oven mitts from their holder, “Four,” He replied, watching you bend and get the metal plate from the oven. You plated four pieces of chicken for him and then three for you, “Come on, it's on the table,” You said as you swiftly placed them in front of each chair, then went back over the sink to wash your hands. William sneaked up behind you just as the water started to become warm. “Since you made dinner, let me help you,” He's tall, slender, figure hugging yours as he grabbed your warm hands. moving them under the water and them pumping the sweet lavender-scented soap that you always used. He lathered both of your hands with the soap as well as his, then guided them back under the water, rinsing them clean. You smiled brightly, “Thank you,” You nodded as he lingered pressed against your back for a few seconds just enjoying your two bodies being pressed together in such a way as this.
He released you from his grip as he pulled your chair out, “My love, take a seat.” He bowed playfully as you sat down. You rolled your eyes at his antics, at least he wasn’t all bummed about the circuit board. He sat down across from you, reaching for your hand and grabbing it firmly. He rubbed his rough finger pads against your knuckles in a circular motion. “Your skin is so perfect my love,” He relished at the way your hands fit so perfectly into his larger ones. Your breath shuddered, you went to speak but nothing came out. William shushed you, “Lets eat, my darling- Since the sooner we do we’ll see whats in that bag~” He teased letting your hands go. You began to get even more curious about the bag that sit on the table, it almost taunted you. You just smiled and began to eat you chicken, William ate his as well, quickly devouring the first two. His eyes darted from you and the back the bag a few times, “Aren’t you just dying to see whats in there?” He practically giggled. You breathed out and swallowed your bite, “No, but I can’t say I’m not just a tiny but curious about it,” You went back to eating as Williams eyes watched. “I’ll give you a hint.” He intertwined his fingers, folding his hands infront of his chest like a true businessman. You sighed playfully, He spoke slowly to you- “It’s messy, it’s sweet, and it’s oh so good.” He smirked, You shook your head, “I don’t know what it could be,” You ate you last bite. William just laughed, “Fair enough,” He went back to basically inhale the rest of his chicken.
You looked at the bag and pondered on what it could be. He rolled his eyes at you, “I feel like we’ll have fun with this.” He rocked his feet on the floor in excitement. You raised a brow, “Fun you say?” You pester. “Yes, we will have so much fun.” He moved the bag infront of him to reveal a rather large, white and red frilled cake. You stared, “It’s a cake?” You questioned not sure how you could have ‘so much fun’ with a cake. “Yes, its a cake. Your favorite too.” He winked jokingly, you laughed. “Go get me a knife I’ll cut it for us.” He ordered you, you complied and got a dull knife and handed it to him carefully. He smirked and licked down the knife, eyeing you sitting form in the chair. “What are you doing?” You asked, watching him slide the blade down his tongue. “Nothing much, dear.” He just stabbed right into the middle of the cake, destroying the perfect frills and design. You cringed, but then the strong smell of vanilla hit your nostrils. The next thing you see is William gathering up a bit of cake in his hand, catapulting it toward your face. You shriek and try to dodge but all is futile as the sweet smell and sticky texture hits just under your eye then, dripping down your lips. William laughed obviously a bit too excitedly. “William! You’re one lucky man that it didn’t get on my shirt..!” You complained as you went to scrape the cake off of your face but as in the speed of a second Williams hand grabbed yours putting it above you head. “Don’t do that- my love, you’ll take my fun away.” A devilish smirk spread across his mouth as he licked his teeth. You shivered as the sight of him gripping your hand and his eyes as big as the moon- sometimes you wondered how you ended up engaged to this strange guy, but you were thankful for him, the way he was stoic one moment and being doltish the next. He brung his mouth to your hand, licking the icing clean off, all while staring into your eyes. Your face flushed red as you felt his warm salvia coating your fingers. “You..I-” You blurted out, he hushed you with his lips crashing into yours- the taste of his kiss was sickingly sweet, you savored each moment of this. He pulled away from the kiss and laughed to himself. Then sliding his already sweet tongue over the rest of the icing on your face.
You were so flustered at this point, he watched as yor mouth turned into a shit-eating grin. You dashed back to the table and grabbed a handful of the cake smashing it onto his cheek- it slid down his neck and dripped onto his chest a little. “Look at this mess you made darling, best clean it up right?” His hot breath gushed on your face as he stooped down to you height. “Why should I?” You joked as you smeared the icing all over his collar bone that was slightly exposed from his usual formal shirt. His eyes narrowed, “Lick it all up.” He commanded, your heart burned slightly from the harshness of his voice. You nodded as you stood on you tippy toes to lap the icing and bits of cake from his cheek. You slurped down his sharp jawline, running over it teasingly- he groaned his adams apple bobbed as you inched further and further down his neck suckling at it trying to clean the mess up as best as you could. You stopped and looked up at him, his eyes were squinted. “Keep going, you missed a spot.” He reached to grab you and and guide you to his collar bone, where the last of the icing was- you loved the way he treated you, like you were nothing but a helpless puppy who doesn’t know what to do. You slinked down to his collarbone and steadily licked it all off. William looked down at you, “Good job my love.” He praised you ruffling your hair.
He pulled your body into his, you could feel his excited heartbeat slow down to its normal pace as he sighed out. “See how much fun we can have when I’m not so busy with work?” He wiggled his eyebrow. “Yeah, I see.” You embraced him and nuzzled your head into him. “I love you, my darling.” His voice dulled, “You’re getting sleepy aren’t you?” You asked rubbing his arm to keep him awake. “A bit I suppose.” You smiled against him. “Let me run us a bath, hm?” He nodded simply as you walked the older man into the your shared bathroom. He leaned against the tile wall and watched you with his tired eyes. “All of that play tired you out huh?” You teased at him, “Quiet, you.” He chuckled sheepishly, bringing his hand to his eyes trying to rub the fatigue out of them. “You know, You’re getting quite old. It’s expected.” Your hand slid under the water, making sure it was just right for the both of you. He was silent, as he just watched you prepare the bath. “You should really take some time off work. I’d love to have a cake fight again.~” Smiling you poured some bubbles into the bath. “Me too, love. I think its time for me to mellow out from working anyway soon.” He admitted, “Let’s not dull the mood.” You undressed and stepped into the deep clawfoot bath, William soon followed after slipping off his clothes as well- You grabbed his hand being sure he didn’t slip as he lowered his slender, tall frame into the bath. He kissed your hand as you relaxed against his chest, the water hiting your chest as it sloshed back and forth. There the both of you sat, in the warm water, snuggled up against eachother, in comfortable silence.
