She was 8 years old when she found out her brother was a junkie.

She was 10 years old when she had her first kiss. With a girl.

She was 11 when she realised she was gay.

She was 13 when her brother slit his wrists in the bathroom because he was gay.

She was 13 when she learned to play guitar.

She was 14 when she got her first girlfriend.

She was 15 when her parents found out she was a lesbian.

She was 15 when the physical abuse started.

She was 15 when she got kicked out.

She was 15 when she first tried heroin.

She was 16 and she was a junkie living on the streets of alphabet city.

She was 16 when she met Collins.

She was 16 when she first went through withdrawal.

She was 17 when Marc Cohen moved into the loft.

She was 18 when she started to play at clubs, gaining a following.

She was 18 when she met April.

She was 18 when she started using again.

She was 18 and her girlfriend had just slit her wrists in the bathroom because she was HIV positive.

She was 18 and she was HIV positive.

She was 19 when she attempted suicide.
