Summary
Gregor's not the only one who can be reincarnated. A chance encounter at a stable yard reunites Nandor with his beloved John. But John's current owner is petty and spiteful, and they run the risk of being separated yet again.
Guillermo doesn't like horses, but he does like Nandor (in a friend kind of way, not in--well, not really friend-friend, more, you know, master and familiar, caring about, I mean, y'know). It's up to him to make sure that this time, the story has a happy ending.

“Guillermo, have you ever ridden a horse before?”
“No,” Guillermo says, blissfully unaware of what is about to happen to him. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this close to one.”
“Then today is your lucky day.”
Guillermo has just enough time to register Nandor’s arms around his waist before he is hauled up into the air.
“No no no no no no–!”
Nandor is gentle as he sets Guillermo down on top of John, but it doesn't matter. Guillermo is now, for the first time in his life, on top of a living animal. He grabs onto the saddle automatically and clings to it for dear life, letting out a yelp of terror when John shifts beneath him.
“Relax, Guillermo!” Nandor laughs, “He is not doing anything!”
“He’s moving,” Guillermo squeaks.
“Yes, horses do that.”
