   Richie has always found it difficult to grapple with emotion, especially when that emotion pertains to his feelings about Eddie.

   Sure, teasing and joking is fun, but there comes a time where that teasing and joking just doesn't cut it. Slowly, Richie needs to accept that when you love someone, you've got to get a little serious.
