[Slow Updates]
In this fanfic, Lorelai runs away from home the second she figures out she’s pregnant. She never tells her parents, she doesn’t tell Christopher, she just runs. She takes a bus to Starshollow where she meets Mia, who gives her a job as a maid, and the Inn’s potting shed as a home. Mia also promises to help Lorelai with her pregnancy and everything that comes with it. Lorelai graciously accepts Mia’s help, as well as the help of a few other kind town residents. This story begins when Lorelai gets to Starshollow, as she steps off the late bus and into the beginning of her life. The main plot will focus on Lorelai and Luke’s relationship. They will meet shortly after Lorelai arrives in town, and their relationship will slowly grow from there. While this will be somewhat of a slow-burn story, it won’t be nearly as slow as the show.
