Me Myself and I [vid]
Dee_Laundry
Summary:
As the quintessential cozy mystery sleuth, Miss Marple is a joy to watch in action. So much so that the UK filmed her adventures twice: over the years 1984-1992 with Joan Hickson and again 2004-2013 with Geraldine McEwan and then Julia McKenzie.
Three Miss Marples investigating murders -- Me Myself and I
Notes:
- For croissantkatie.
Thanks to my Festivids Buddy Josette_Arnauld for great suggestions and encouragement.
Music: "Me Myself and I" by De La Soul (trimmed)
Length: 2:23
Content notes: Depictions of police, mild blood, choking, dying scenes, multiple dead bodies (not a major character), smoking (brief).
(See the end of the work for more notes.)
Notes:
If you'd like to watch Miss Marple, I suggest starting with The Body in the Library and then watching A Murder Is Announced (this has the canon lesbian couple living on the farm). These episodes are in Volume 1/Series 1 of the DVDs for both series. Or you may find them elsewhere.
Sherlock BBC fans should then watch from the later series: A Pocket Full of Rye (Rupert Graves), Murder at the Vicarage (Mark Gatiss), Sleeping Murder (Una Stubbs), and Murder Is Easy (Benedict Cumberbatch).
