'I know It's You' by Stanley Turrentine was playing in the background as guests were slowly arriving at the venue. The wedding was taking place at the time square, obviously an idea by Caroline Salvatore.
It was truly breathtaking and luckily the sunny weather was on their side. They have planned the reception to take place in some memorial hall. Turning Mystic Grill as the bride's and maid of honor's changing sight for the day with access to the beverages.
The last descendant of the Bennett family received a text about the location prior her arrival to Mystic Falls. She did not want to come, but had obviously convinced herself otherwise as always.
She was glaring at the fast food entrance, deciding to open it now or perhaps never. Sighing, realising how ridiculous she was being before reaching for the doorknob, turning before it opened.
The second she set her feet inside and closed the door, she found a set of eyes on her, the one she had been dreading to see for as long as possible. Her former bestfriends, one in a modern Victorian wedding dress and the other in a long silky purple dress, obviously the maid of honor.
"Hey guys," she greeted with a smile that finally became visible while making her way farther into the restaurant.
"Bonnie," Caroline exclaimed after snapping out of it, "you've made it." She rushed at a human speed to give her a warm hug before they both slowly let go, locking their gaze. "I've missed you. Where have you been? Why haven't you called us?"
"Hey, Bon." The woman in questions response was prevented by the bride's words, with a voice that sounded like it was fighting a cough.
Slowly shifting her sight to her, another smile forming as she let go off Caroline and made her way towards her. "Hey," she said softly as they both embrace, not really sure why it felt awkward. What Bonnie did not see was the intense expression on both girl's face as they glare at each other. "Congratulations," she said after Caroline appeared once more beside her and offered her a glass of champagne.
As the others reclaimed theirs, it was almost as a form of agreement not to discuss, or even bring out the awkwardness in the room. "To the day every girl dreams off," the blonde said cheerfully before frowning, toasting with the others. "It will also come for you, Bonnie. You just need to be more out there like I've advised in 9th grade."
If she thought the girl was serious, she would have frowned, buy her smile was contagious to the blonde.
"She's right," Elena the bride jumped in. "If you'll like, I'm sure Matt can be placed as a potential."
As Bonnie's eyes popped, Caroline's jar dropped. "Don't listen to her, she had to much to drink since this morning."
Elena chuckled as she fixed her tiara. "Come on," she swing her champagne once more, "neither of them are getting any younger." The doppelgänger continued as she left Bonnie dumbfounded as Caroline's jar dropped once more, "unless of course, you still waiting for Jeremy to pop the question so we can finally be actual sisters."
Bonnie's eyes widen as she took a long swing of her drink while turning sideways.

Town Square
It was truly beautiful, Davina thought as she strolled around the venue. The wooden chairs covered with cream white cloths did the green grass some justice, along with the alter that had four columns covered with red roses.
Her number four glass of margarita was making her happy, putting a smile on her face as she thought about her past, how she had come to know what happiness felt like.
"If I didn't know the bride and groom, I'd assume it was your day." She knew the man was talking to her, but she had no interest in the meaningless flirtations. She was here to attend a wedding of people she knew nothing about, only because of the love of another. Assuming that she didn't hear him, he stood by her side, "are you new around here? It's a small town and I know everyone since I'm the sheriff."
The witch switched her glass to her left hand before shifting her position to stand in front of the man. "You must be Matt Donovan," she said with grace before taking a drink. A crook smile was gone before it was visible after the man noticed her ring. The disappointment visible.
"Uhm," he mumbled, "I'll take that as a yes." He moved his eyes around before drinking his non-alcoholic champagne.
"It's actually a no," she corrected. "I'm here as my wife's plus one, you know her very well." He narrowed his eyes her way as she rolled hers at his failed attempt to take a guess. "Bonnie."
With that, his eyes widened. "Bonnie? Bonnie Bennett?"
"Sure, although, that's her maiden name now."
"Of course. But the Bennett's have been keeping their maiden name for a thousand years now."
"True. But she thought since she'll be the last living Bennett witch, she doesn't find the use." Davina said that like she was explaining the whether.
"I see," he muttered after narrowing his eyes again. "So, you are?"
"Opps, manners. I'm Davina Claire."
He nodded his head before reaching out with his right hand. She shook it and nodded her head graciously. "Pleasure to meet you, Davina although, I'm surprised that the Bonnie I know has a wife.

The sight of the most exquisite being he had ever seen captivated him, suddenly, the Original standing before him became close to nonexistent. It was clear as day who those forest green orbs belong to, Bonnie Bennett.
She had looked left and right before crossing the road, making her way to the town square. The former vampire failed to notice the viking descendant to align his sights to were he was glaring at, finding the woman making her way towards them.
The swaying of her hips got every head turned her way till she was out of view.
Just as she arrived at the two gentlemen, he gazed looked with the Original ever since with a passive eye, the man smirking all the way.
She stood before him, running her left hand on his cheek before he placed his upon hers, cupping it before placing a kiss in her palm. A smile did not fail to magically appear on its on, her eyes narrowing at him playfully. He ran his other hand on her cheek slowly, her eyes closing instantly to the sensation. With instinct, the Original ran the hand behind her neck to dip her head as he slowly leaned in.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Damon exclaimed as he shuffled Kol away. "What the hell do you think you doing?" A couple of guests perked their way as Bonnie came back to reality. Well, the annoying side of reality.
"Showing her wife the love he has for her," the icy gaze turned to a woman who had just approached with Matt. The very same Matt who was a whole lot confused.
"Husband? I thought Bonnie was your wife?" His piecing ocean blue narrowed at the beautiful brunette.
"I am," Bonnie stated. "And this," he pointed at Kol with her index finger, "is our husband."
