Work Text:
It was dusk when the cold breeze of Dragonspine embraced Kaeya's skin, but the orange torches Albedo kept on his desks helped him maintain his usual body temperature. He sat on a wooden chair as he observed the alchemist twirl his tools with his slender fingers. He mentally named them one by one out of sheer boredom, trying his best to stay patient as he waited for him to utter a word, arms crossed.
Kaeya did not know why Albedo picked him up at Angel's Share earlier; he did not receive any prior notices to this little rendezvous. But something told him it was urgent, so he decided to follow him anyway. Their entire journey to Albedo's laboratory was pretty silent, only exchanges of news, Mondstadt, and information about Khaenri'ah. Nothing personal, not even what this whole meeting was about. He wanted to discuss what it was about, but the excitement of experiencing something new prevented him from doing so.
His blue eyes diverted their attention from the pale-haired synthetic human's hands to the army of snowflakes descending outside in swift movements. The freezing winds of the snowy terrains were stronger than ever—they howled and bit flesh even more violently than its normal blows. Perhaps it was because of the winter season, he concluded, with snow piling up on top of flat surfaces like his paperworks. He could already imagine the joy this will bring to the children of Mondstadt, and how much Albedo would love to see Klee smile after building a Dodoco-inspired snowman.
But as his mind broadened realistic scenarios to fantasies, Albedo opened his mouth to speak, "Are you ready for the study, Kaeya?" He fixed the sleeves of his outfit, tugging it closer to his elbows.
The blue-haired male froze at the question, obviously caught off-guard as he rotated his head towards Albedo's direction. He doesn't know what to respond because he didn't know what the experiment was about. He only eyed Albedo from head-to-toe, and noticed a component of the non-human's daily outfit going missing.
The gloves.
Was this man planning to murder him with his bare hands?
"How will we go about this experiment of yours? How will I be of help?" Kaeya asked. "Will you not be using your gloves for safety purposes?"
Albedo, shocked, answered, "I suppose you did not receive the memorandum I have written. The mailman told me it had already been delivered over a week ago. I listed my agendas with you for today in that piece of paper. My objectives for this study, procedure, date, time— everything . I should not have expected you to immediately do such a thing."
"You know I have more things to do than sitting in my office and reading papers. That's boring." Kaeya argued. "Besides, you have more time in your hands than I do. You could have stopped by my office or something."
The shorter male cannot help but take a deep breath, showing a slight hint of irritation. He grunted, wanting to argue further, but decided that he should not be wasting more time. "I have no energy to argue further, but I'll tell you—human anatomy is far more complex than a homunculus'. It is what piqued my interest recently. I am not human, which is why I needed your help. You are the closest connection I have. Sucrose could not assist me with this because, well, one, she asked permission to rest from scientific activities with Mona for a month; and two, this experiment is somewhat too intimate to be done with someone I am not interested in."
He approached the seated Kaeya, leaning down to kiss the back of his ear. "Kaeya, the human body has too many interesting details," he wrapped his arms around his waist.
"parts," he kissed his cheek. "This is your zygomaticus major." he pointed out. This sent shivers down Kaeya's spine. He could not help but tilt his head to the side, allowing Albedo to have more access to his body. His coat had already been discarded as the pale-haired man painted his face with kisses.
Dang, intelligence is sexy .
"...and I am truly overwhelmed by its beauty." he kissed the side of his neck. "The sternocleidomastoid." he lifted him up and carried him to his desk, shoving all the experiments and papers he had been working on to the side to place Kaeya in between his mess. This night was all about Kaeya and Kaeya alone; Albedo wanted to show him the wonders of his body and, at the same pace, learn about the human body as well.
And Kaeya wanted more, he could feel his body gradually submitting to Albedo's burning touch. His body burned with need and fervor as he felt slender fingers trail down his body and massage his muscles. It was as if his body disregarded all of Dragonspine's sheer cold and was fully replaced by Albedo's body heat and the tension between the two of them.
Oh, he'd thank the gods for letting him meet this genius before him, but he remembers the conversations about Khaenri'ah he had shared with Dainsleif and Albedo, as well as the potentially false secrets the Abyss Order had revealed to him. So now he thinks that fate would be the better higher power to worship and praise for all the gifts bestowed upon him; despite being cruel for the most part.
His thoughts were set aside as he became aware of the odd sounds his mouth produced as Albedo did his best to please him. Embarrassed, his cheeks burn light red and he makes an attempt to push Albedo away.
As if he had been read, Albedo asked, "Embarrassed? The sounds you've been making are music to my ears. A lovely melody, indeed—I wonder what more I could elicit from you. My name turned into a canticle to the gods of Teyvat, perhaps?" he laughed softly afterwards, resuming his work on Kaeya's body.
"Fuck you," he spat. The blush on his cheeks are now darker. He's more embarrassed now than when he ripped his pants while twerking in the tavern on a drunken night. He's currently at his most vulnerable and submissive state; he's pondering on the reasons why this was Albedo's effect on him, and if he had cast a spell on him.
"If that is your wish, I'll be happy to oblige." Albedo teased, unbuttoning the top buttons of Kaeya's white dress shirt. He pulled him closer to his body and planted a kiss on his chest. "Your body is an island waiting to be explored, and a canvas waiting to be painted on." he was aware that he had grown infatuated with the blue-haired male's body, and he's willing to appreciate it every day.
"You talk too much—" Kaeya complained, only to be cut off.
"Shut up and let me appreciate you." Albedo exposed Kaeya's chest out in the open, sucking and leaving his marks on his neck and chest. He gripped his hips tightly, now painting the canvas he had most wanted to paint on with his teeth. He feels a human emotion as Kaeya's fingers tangled with his light strands, tugging them gently as he grew even more aroused by the current situation. "Your pectoralis major is pretty buff. I like it."
As Albedo finished his last mark on Kaeya's chest, he gushed at the sight of the masterpiece he had created. He's sure these bruises won't fade away soon. His lips met Kaeya's as he buttoned the cryo holder's shirt up. After pressing a long kiss on his lips, he kissed them a few more times before planting one on his forehead, a soft smile curling on his lips. He blushed pink as he realized what he had done, and he swiftly sheathed his hands in his gloves.
"My only request, Alberich, is for you to open yourself up to me." he requested, planting another kiss on his lips. "I want you, your heart, your body, mind, and soul."
"As you wish, Kreideprinz." Kaeya replied. "I am all yours."
