Summary:
Merlin feels like he's been sleepwalking through the centuries without Arthur. When Arthur steps out of the lake and into his arms, Merlin finds that even their hours of talking and lovemaking only leave him feeling more awake than he has in a millenium. Somehow it's worth it all, just to lie next to his King and watch him sleep.
