Chapter Text
It was a shock to everyone the first time Rae managed to out-eat Michael. It had been almost a year since that first Thanksgiving with the Ellensons, and since Vivi had started helping her train her stomach capacity. She had 35 extra pounds to show for it, but Michael had also done nothing but grow in that time.
It was summer now, and Rae was spending a few weeks with Vivi's family. She knew she’d be leaving this time with them at least a few pounds heavier, especially since she was so sure she would get stuck with leftover duty more than once.
But on the first night, when it came time to see who got stuck finishing off the leftovers—Hugh throwing himself in the competition this time as well—Michael had started flagging towards the end despite Eric's encouragement. This allowed Rae and Hugh to finish off their plates while Michael had one left in front of him.
Rae watched, mesmerized, as Eric helped heave Michael up from the table and walk him to the living room. Michael was big, his belly round and tight despite the amount of fat that covered it. He’d announced earlier that evening that he’d hit 490lbs recently, and so this weekend had turned into a push to get him to 500lbs.
Being on leftover duty would help with that. Rae's turn with it last year had helped her gain 5lbs in the two days she stayed with Vivi's family.
Vivi nudged her arm gently. “Want to go watch?” She asked.
Rae blinked and realized they were the only ones left in the dining room. “Oh yes, sorry. I must have dozed off,” she said.
Vivi chuckled. “That’s okay. You ate so much tonight, I’m so impressed. Definitely an improvement from last year,” she said, pressing a hand to her swollen belly.
Rae smiled and put a hand beside Vivi's. “I can’t believe I managed to eat more than Michael. He looked so stuffed.”
Vivi hummed. “He’s been grazing on snacks all day, he started filling himself up before dinner. He’s always been impatient. You were a good girl and waited for the main event.”
Rae blushed at the compliment. “I still feel stuffed to the gills,” she said.
Vivi smiled. “And you are. Come on, you’ll be more comfortable in the living room, and I want to watch Michael’s punishment.”
Rae agreed and let Vivi help her stand, then lead her to the living room. Her belly felt heavy and bloated in front of her as she walked - maybe more waddled. It was pushing against her lungs with every step, making her breaths come out in short pants. She was grateful for Anna’s warm hand on her back.
When they got to the living room, Michael was already affixed to the chair, his belly arching high above him. Eric was sitting beside him, a hand on his arm. They were speaking in low voices to each other.
Hugh was sitting on the sofa opposite them, his belly forcing multiple gaps to widen on his shirt.
“You did wonderfully tonight, Rae,” he said with an encouraging smile.
Rae slumped back on the other sofa Vivi had led her to, her belly spilling out into her lap. “Thank you. I almost can’t believe how much I ate,” she chuckled.
“You’ll get used to it soon enough,” Hugh assured her. “You’ve already taken to it quite well.”
“Mm, Vivi must be training you constantly for your capacity to have surpassed this one,” Eric said, patting Michael’s belly.
“I’ve also taught her to be patient and not stuff herself with appetizers right before the meal,” Vivi teased.
Michael chuckled. “I couldn’t help myself. Mom makes the best appetizers,” he said.
“That I do. At least my boy appreciates me,” Lila said as she walked into the living room with all the implements for the punishment.
“I do appreciate you, even if I might not in a few seconds,” Michael teased.
Lila laughed. “This is only going to help you, darling.”
“Plus, if you want to be 500lbs, you need a bigger capacity, babe,” Eric said. “Rae managed to eat more than you and she hasn’t even hit 400lbs yet.”
“She will be soon, at the rate she’s going,” Vivi said, rubbing Rae's belly.
Rae was too full to say anything, just focusing on the sensation of Vivi's hand against her for now.
She watched as the chair was lowered so Michael was lying flat. Her eyes widened when she realized that from this vantage point, all she could see was Michael’s swollen belly. Had she looked like this last year?
The click of the restraints tightening over Michael’s wrists sent a jolt through her system. She took deep breaths to calm herself down, glad she could mask it as her overfullness.
Lana wasn’t ashamed of her attraction to Michael, but she figured she should try to control herself with it when she was in a room with his family. Though she could see Eric's cheeks were flushed, so at least she wasn’t the only one.
The feeding tube was lowered into his mouth, then Lila started pouring the food in.
It took a few minutes, but Lana saw it. The moment Michael got overfull. His stomach went from looking normally swollen to overstuffed, and he started letting out little moans and whines as more food shoved itself into his overstretched body.
“How does he have any more room?” Rae asked breathlessly as his stomach jiggled and groaned and swelled a bit.
“He doesn’t,” Eric said, putting his hand on the most swollen part of Michael’s gut. It had no give. “But we’re helping him make more.”
She watched as Michael’s belly grew, as his cries became sharper as he filled up, as he pulled against his restraints. His skin pulled tight, stomach pushing his already fat-filled stomach out even further.
“That’s exactly what you looked like your first time, you know,” Vivi whispered in her ear. “So desperate as you swelled up. It was incredible.”
Rae whimpered, her eyes meeting Eric's. They smirked at her and surreptitiously crossed their legs at a particularly loud moan from Michael.
Rae had no idea if she wanted to be Michael in that moment, or simply be as big as him, but suddenly, impossibly, her belly didn’t feel full enough. She wanted to be bigger, to push her limits again. She never thought she’d miss leftover duty, but here she was.
Finally, the feeding stopped. Lila pulled the tube out and patted Michael’s hair, praising him for being so good.
He couldn’t reply. His breath was heaving, interspersed with the pained moans of being overfilled. His belly towered high above him, looking almost spherical and so, so tight. Rae was honestly shocked he hadn’t burst.
“You did so well,” Eric said to him, gently running a hand over the swell of his partner’s belly. Obviously, Lana wasn’t the only one worried about bursting. “Look at you, Michael. You look like you're about to explode. You're magnificent.”
Lila put her hands on Michael’s belly and squeezed it in that calculating way of hers. Rae remembered loving the feeling of being measured and assessed in such a clinical way. “I don’t think you’ve ever been quite this full, Michael. I think we managed to stretch you a lot today. You managed to take in so much, though that isn't that surprising at your size. I can tell your capacity is still increasing though, which is great.”
“I… thanks…” Michael huffed, the words making his belly sway.
Eric and Lila undid Michael’s hands from the chair and pushed the back up, so he was sitting upright. Or as upright as he could get. His belly was so round and full, sitting heavily on his thighs that he had to lay back simply to have enough room. But at least from this vantage point Rae could see his face, which was flushed red. Michael ran a hand over his belly, pushing in at certain spots. Rae had to bite her lip when she noticed there was barely any give despite the amount of fat she knew blanketed his belly.
“I don’t think I’ve felt this full in a long time,” Michael groaned.
Eric hummed in agreement. “You really outdid yourself, babe,” he said, kissing Michael’s cheek. “You’ll be five hundred in no time.”
“Oh, there’s no doubt about that,” Hugh said. “I think we always knew he was destined to be at least this big.”
Michael huffed. “How could I not, with how much you all encourage me?” he teased. “Though you must be pushing four hundred by now, dad. Maybe this Thanksgiving we’ll get you there.”
Hugh chuckled. “You know we’re going slowly with that. Though I think Rae might reach four hundred much sooner than me. How much do you weigh now?” he asked, looking over at where Rae and Vivi were sitting.
Rae blushed at the attention suddenly on her.
“She was 372 this morning,” Vivi said proudly.
“I think after dinner tonight I’m probably closer to 375,” Rae laughed.
“That’s very impressive,” Eric said with a smirk. “You were just a slip of a thing the first time Viv brought you home.”
“That was only like 40 pounds ago,” Rae chuckled.
“And you were much smaller then,” Lila pointed out. “You carry your weight very evenly; you’ve swelled out incredibly proportionately.”
“Thank you,” Lana said.
“I much prefer people who carry their weight in their belly,” Eric said, tapping Michael’s belly, which elicited a grunt from him. “But you do carry it very well. Vivi's done a good job with you.”
Lana smiled at him.
They sat there for a bit longer, chatting about everything and everything, before Hugh and Lila called it a night.
“We’re going to head up too. Do you need any help getting upstairs?” Vivi asked Michael.
He shook his head. “I think I’m going to spend the night here. I’m pretty full,” he said, patting his belly that still looked tight as a drum.
Anna nodded and kissed both his cheek and Eric's before helping Rae up to their room.
“You ate well tonight,” Vivi said to her once the door was closed.
“Thanks,” Rae chuckled. “I still can’t believe I ate more than your brother and your dad.”
“Are you?” Vivi teased, putting her hands on both sides of Rae's belly. “Because I’m not. With the way you’ve been eating this year, you’ve easily caught up to them in terms of capacity.”
Rae blushed. “Clearly I have. Though I am kind of jealous. Is it weird I wanted leftover duty?”
Vivi laughed. “You are adorable,” she said, poking her nose. “I love how proud of yourself you are. But… Michael absolutely lost on purpose. He could have finished all of that in no time.”
Rae's jaw dropped. “That’s… allowed?”
Vivi smirked. “There are no rules.”
“But why? He looked like he was going to explode. And he did it on purpose?”
“You were just saying you wanted it. You know why,” Vivi said. “Plus, he’s so close to five hundred. He wanted that push, and I’d say he’s definitely almost there.”
“Oh,” Rae said. “So—”
“You could lose on purpose next time if you want it enough, yes,” Vivi confirmed. “In fact, I would encourage it. I’d love to see you swelling up like a balloon on that chair again.”
Rae groaned at the image in her mind’s eye. She agreed.
She put a hand on her belly, next to Vivi's. “Then I guess I’ll have to lose next time, don’t you think?”
