Work Text:

I was walking to school with my normal friends. It was a normal day with normal weather and we talked about normal things.

But then suddenly, I saw something that terrified me:

A humanoid shape, standing there. Smiling. It’s eyes were pitch-black with no pupils.

It handed Jimothy a vhs tape of a lost episode of Blue’s Clues where the dog is brutally murdered.

We walked to school and when we got there, that was when I saw something that chills me to this day:

A humanoid shape, standing there. Smiling. It’s eyes were pitch-black with no pupils. It handed Mattholomew a vhs tape of a lost episode of Jimmy Neutron where the dad is brutally murdered. Because that's totally what a profit-seeking entity would do: spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and several months making a snuff film for kids.

In class that day, the teacher was explaining math to us, when something happened. Something that horrified me in a way that demands it’s own break from the other paragraphs.

The teacher became a humanoid shape, standing there. Smiling. It’s eyes were pitch-black, with no pupils. It handed Bjorgsten a vhs copy of a lost episode Beyblade V-Force where a beyblade is brutally murdered.

We put the vhs tape into the vcr, and we saw something. Something that was the scariest thing we’ve ever seen since the last three things.

In the episode, there was a humanoid shape. Smiling. With pitch-black eyes. It handed the characters of the show a vhs tape of a lost episode of Mr. Belvedere, where Bob Uecker is brutally murdered by a humanoid shape. Smiling. With pitch-black eyes.

And then I became a serial murderer with a constant grin and merchandise. I became insanely popular with the kids for about a year before everyone realized how fucking stupid this story is.
