Chapter Text
18th May, 1882
Ma,
It has been a very long time since I have last written to you and for that I am sorry. I was first wrapped up in my studies, and then I was quite ill and unable to leave the house or even write.
I am far better now, however, especially that the snows have melted. Stanley is with me; our reunion was a coincidence, but a welcome one.
Ma,
I should also apologize for not writing. I havent been able to stay in one place for long. Now I feel I can. I came to this town because it’s hardly on any map and was directed by the townsfolk to Stanford’s cabin. A lot has happened since then, but it would seem unbelievable written down.
Gravity Falls is a strange town but a scenic one, filled with many odd wonders. It would be great for you to visit.
Love,
Stanford Pines
