scraps and sketches (collections of unfinished works from lupin)

Chapter 2: settled

Summary:

Might bring this back as an actual work but for now its in the scraps area

Also fun fact, this series was going to be called "Mutterings of a Flame" where Grimm has reflections, but that got scrapped due to my want to make Hollow more of the future and Grimm more in the past until time was able to line up for the both of them

Chapter Text

Being a higher being, there are some things you just have to meet in the middle. Duties and responsibilities need to be upheld, as well as the realization that he will never live a mundane life.

Still… he makes do. It was common for his bloodline put their main tent in one spot and travel to different locations for smaller and more brief outings, while Grimm though he would be like his great grandfather who would only stick to one location when he was in his deathbed but… things change.

The main reason was that his son and the little one had formed a bond, a true and pure form of a familial bond that Grimm couldn’t bare to take apart. He couldn’t be another betrayal or sadness, nor does he have the heart to take Pan away from the only bug who can understand him. Pan was so incredibly happy and Grimm would do anything anything to keep his family happy.

The other reason came after that, one that he thought he wouldn’t consider a possibility due to the past. A once impossible feat made possible-

“Hollow-” He tried to twist and turn out of the other bug’s grasp but to no avail.

...which has to lead to the impossible again.

It was meant to be a small outing, nothing fancy or grandiose, just a change in scenery as well as privacy private eyes. The Blue Lake seemed like a wonderful location, even though Grimm had never been there for… obvious reasons.
