Chapter Text
Drista knew of the fight that took place between Grian (well Xelqua) and her brother who turned out to not be her brother, along with the SMP reset, of both the world and their memories. She had tried to convince XD, Prime and the Watchers to not do that but they said it's best for the members of the server if they did that.
So, being the chaotic little shit Drista was, she kept pestering XD to give them back their memories, she kept pestering him to ask the Watchers and the other Gods that had been involved in the memory remove process for two reasons, one was to playfully annoy her (technical) older brother and the other was to give the SMP members back their memories.
But unfortunately, XD didn't take it as playful annoyance.
"WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP YOU USELESS CHILD! YOU KEEP ON GOING ON AND ON AND ON AND IT'S TRYING ME FUCKING INSANE! YOU ARE A DEMIGOD! YOU GET NO FUCKING SAY IN IMPORTANT MATTERS! I DON'T FUCKING CARE IF YOU'RE ATTACHED TO THE MORTALS! WE ERASED THEIR MEMORIES TO HELP THEM! IF WE GIVE THEM BACK THEIR MEMORIES THEY'D HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEIR FUCKING TRAUMA AND THE MAGIC BARRIERS THEY WERE FORCED UNDER AND ALL OF THE SHIT THEY WENT YOU! AND THEY'D ALSO REMEMBER YOU AND NO ONE WANTS THAT. So why don't you just fuck. Off. Drista."
XD then went back to his own realm, leaving Drista alone, quietly sobbing.
It was the weekend and that meant that it was the two days of the week were Tommy stayed at the X siblings' base. And this weekend Tommy was going to introduce Ex to video games.
"How on earth have you never played Video games before o'pa?"
Ex only shrugged as they fell off the side of the road on the Mario Kart map that they forgot the name off.
"My old server didn't really have video games and when I moved to the server where I went to college, I had college work to do and a bunch of other demanding shit. So I never got the time to play. WHY DO I KEEP ON FALLING OFF THE MAP! THIS IS BULLSHIT!"
Tommy laughed when he heard a faint language coming from Xisuma's room.
"What you are saying is that you are old?" The Imp then cackled at the glare his o'pa gave him. The two then fell back into a comfortable silence, only a sentence or two being said about the game until a ping went off on both Ex's and Tommy's comms.
Drista joined the server
The main hermit gc
Tommyinnit : DRISTA!
Drista : hi Tommy, where are yo
Tommyinnit : I'm at the X siblings' base in their main tower, do you need cords or?
Drista : no I know where it is
Bdouble0100 : oh hello Drista!
Drista : hi bubble man
Tommy then pocketed his comm and went to look out of the window, waiting for his sister (he didn't know if she thought of him as her brother, but Tommy still viewed the demigod as his sister). Then he saw her land at the base of the home tower of the X siblings.
"DRISTA! UP HERE!" Tommy yelled with excitement, having not seen her for several weeks. So Drista flew up the window and Tommy then tackled her with a hug.
"Hi Dris-, Drista? Are you okay?"
When Tommy pulled away from the hug he noticed that the mask she wore had a sad face on it (Xisuma had made a mask for Drista that would change its face based on the emotions she was feeling).
"I-" Drista then started to cry, the sad face on her mask changed to a crying face. Ex then walked over to them and knelt down in front of the Creation Demigod.
"Hey, are you alright for me to touch you Drista?" They asked, their voice soft and concerned for their pseudo-daughter. After she nodded, they then picked her up and walked over to the sofa, Tommy followed and sat next to Ex.
"Are you able to tell me what's wrong bear?" The demon asked, using a nickname in hope it gave Drista some comfort.
"X-X-XD." Was all Drista was able to force out through her crying.
"What did XD do?" Tommy asked, moving closer to his o'pa and sister.
"Me-mean. C-c-called me usel-useless. An-an-and." Drista stopped talking as the stuff XD, a person who she thought cared for her, said to her ran through her head. And she thought it was all true. It wasn't actually the first time he had called her useless and told her she didn't matter, but it was only in person and he never yelled at her the way he did.
Ex then held her tighter and started rocking her side to side, stroking a hand through her hair and told her comforting phrases.
"You aren't useless bear. You are the demigod of creation for crying out loud, you are incredibly important as I know for a fact there's only two God's for creation. So you have a very important role among them and you are very important to us aswell."
Ex tended to comfort with facts they did, they tended to tell the person what they could do as that person knew that Ex wasn't lying as they knew that they could do that, Ex was only reminding them of what they could do.
"B-bu-but XD said I n-n-not important." Drista cried, burying her head onto the crook of Ex's neck, almost hoping that that could hide her from the words that XD yelled at her.
"You are though Dris." Tommy said, grabbing her hand carefully and gently, which caused Drista to move her head to look at Tommy, "you are so freaking important to everyone, to me, if it weren't for you visiting me in exile I may have ended it all or even started to truly believe Dream was the only person who cared for me. You are definitely important and I'll freaking murder that bitch XD for tell you that you weren't important."
Drista let out a wet laugh, and moved her mask up slightly to wipe away her tears.
"How the fuck are your tears green?" Ex questioned quietly.
"Demigod, did you forget that?" Drista responded, her mask changing to a sarcastic look. The Demon and Imp started laughing and Drista joined in.
Soon enough, they stopped and Drista leant her head against Ex's chest, finding comfort in their heartbeat (as God's didn't have heartbeats), Tommy then leant his head against Ex's arm. Eventually Drista fell asleep, tired from all of the crying she did.
"Hey Tommy?" Ex asked, quiet enough so they didn't wake the demigod but loud enough to get Tommy's attention (since he was absorbed in his game that Ex remembered was called Animal Crossing).
"Yeah?"
"Are you able to murder a God?"
Let's just say Tommy's laugh (that sounded like his lungs deflated) nearly woke up Drista, which earned him a glare from his o'pa.
