Summary
When the Heroes Association shut down for good, most heroes had already been on suspension for months. It still felt so sudden. The titan that once ruled over not just Tommy’s entire life, but all of society, was gone.
In hindsight, the fall started even before the Syndicate existed. Maybe even before he was born. But every sign of a failing system felt like more proof it could never be undone. The rampant corruption and misuse of power were all symptoms of a diseased tyrant who died on his deathbed.
Now here they are. No more heroes.

Or, The Syndicate took down the Heroes Association. Tommy's an ex-hero who has no idea what he's supposed to do now, especially without Dream's guidance. Help comes from unexpected people, namely ex-villain and retired leader of The Syndicate, The Angel of Death himself. And his annoying sons.

I truly love this writing, its a wonder and it captures the feelings of self-dehumanization on Tommy's part, his want for company, etc, etc...
Kinda sad that it was never fully realized because my god your writing is an actual treat (id eat it all the time if it was a food) also, its totally valid to not want to keep writing about these characters when the people theyre based on are so god damn horrible (FUCK WILLIAM GOLD, SUPPORT SHELBY!!!)
wouldve KILLED to see the reveal that tommy was a hybrid to the watsons and phils reaction and allat
But, KUDOS TO YOU! THIS WAS AN AMAZING STORY!! I WISH FOR YOUR HEALTH TO REMAIN IN GOODSTANDING!!!

I fully support the author's decision to stop writing where they have in light of current events.
That being said, I still wish to show support to this author. Their writing is amazing, and the way the characters are handled in the emotional spectrum is beautifully detailed.
(My only regret is that we will never see Techno's farm now. /j)
