What’s the outcome?
“Death.” It was Leah who spoke. I didn’t expect it, I’d entirely forgotten she was there. She pushed through the others, cup of tea in her hand. One hand helped me up, I don’t think I’d ever touched Leah, and helped me out of the foyer into a chair. Once sat, she passed me a the cup, mint tea.
The mint washed out the bad taste in my mouth.
“She can’t stay here,” I watched Bran’s eyes shift in response to her words. “She’s too close to the others. It isn’t safe for them.”
“What do you suggest?” Charles asked, but he had the slightest twinge of impatience to his voice.

An unpublished, un-proofed part four that I didn't remember writing. I'm going through and proofing before posting.
I realized, beginning this re-read, that I had actually consciously tied the last story into this and had to re-write the missing chapter to reflect it... I think it's 15 chapters, but I may combine some. It's going to be a blast from the past for all of us.Here you are, like 3 years late!
