If
Usaka was completely confused by Arisu. That man suddenly come to his office, making a fuss until all his subordinates were crying and now currently enjoying the instant ramen that his subordinates gave to him. Arisu was too relaxed in responding to something like that and it made Usaka furious.
Not only that, Arisu even casually said that he wanted to take part in the new project that Usaka was currently working on. How could he accept the offer? If Usaka accepted it, then he would have been further involved with Arisu; this is what Usaka wanted to avoid as much as possible.
Usaka, who had been closed his heart to anyone for a long time, thought hard about the reason why Arisu had returned to Japan, even appearing in front of him. Why? What’s the main reason for Arisu to come back here? Even when he asked Arisu, he didn’t get a clear answer.
Irritating. It’s always like that.
Arisu is always good at playing with his words and avoid questions that corner him. His senior never changed his trait from the past and Usaka could never understand this trait. But it's true that a person's nature can't be change that easily, so Usaka can't blame Arisu completely either. Arisu himself was still busy eating instant ramen and drinking the soup, it seemed that he was eating it with pleasure until there was nothing left. Then Arisu stood up from his sitting position and leaned back, Arisu looked at Usaka with an unchanging expression; neither smile nor show sadness.
"Why Usa? Is there something wrong?" asked Arisu.
"I don't understand what you're saying. What do you mean by longing for my cigarette’s smoke? Is there’s something wrong with your head, senpai?” Usaka responded coldly.
“Ahahaha, meanie~. I'm just telling the truth."
The man's soft chuckle was heard, even the sound of his laughter sounded very sweet but Usaka didn't respond at all. Usaka still smoking and didn't glance at Arisu at all. While Arisu was still in his position and chose to pay attention to another direction, his just letting the silence accompany them at this time.
"Don't you remember what I did to you?"
Arisu didn't answer the question right away, the sigh that was heard was a sign that Arisu wouldn’t give the answer again. Then Arisu turned once again to Usaka and this time he showed a smile that nobody knows what it meant.
"What do you think?"
"Huh?"
“Ahaha, if you look at me with such murderous eyes then I don't know what to do, masochist.”
What's with that word? Who’s the real masochist here? Usaka didn't understand why Arisu was using such a term at this point. It really doesn't fit anyway. Is this guy trying to change the subject again? Irritating. Usaka hated this and he also hated himself for not being able to act according to his logic if Arisu showed up.
'Annoying.' Usaka thought.
“Ah~ I better hurry home before my beloved junior does anything funny in this place.”
'Oh? Are you going to leave after coming all of a sudden and pissing me off?’
"See you later, Usa."
'Did you think I would just let you go home like that?'
“Ah, that instant ramen is delicious.”
"Wait!"
Usaka immediately pulled Arisu closer so Arisu wouldn't leave him. Then what happened next might be beyond their control. Usaka brought Arisu’s face closer and kissed his lips, of course Arisu was surprised by what Usaka did. Arisu wanted to pushed him but Usaka didn't seem to give him a chance, Usaka pulled Arisu's hair tighter and deepened their kiss.
“Nhnn...”
A soft voice came from Arisu as their kiss grew intense. Usaka didn't seem to care about anything and was getting bolder with his actions, in fact he held Arisu's hand and gripped it tighter. The kiss that Usaka gave seemed to be digging into something inside him that he had locked tightly.
'Don’t go away...'
The kiss doesn't stop. Usaka started to play with Arisu's tongue and made the older man weaker with his kisses, he deliberately did that as if he wanted to make Arisu won’t move an inch. Arisu himself tried to resist but the touch weakened him even more. How could Usaka do this?
“Nhn, hnn… ah…”
A soft sigh escaped Arisu's lips, that beautiful voice that Usaka hadn't heard in a long time. The voice that managed to distract his senses, made Usaka want to dominate his seniors again and again. But this kiss couldn't last long because both of them also needed oxygen, Usaka finally let go of the kiss and was surprised by what he saw.
Arisu's face become redder than before.
Why Arisu making such a face? Not to mention the eyes that seem still want more but at the same time he didn't want to continue. Why? If Arisu showed such an expression, Usaka wouldn’t be able to keep his desire. Ah, will Usaka lose to his own lust?
'Damn!'
"Usa... why?" asked Arisu quietly.
"... you have not answered my question." Usaka replied.
"Ah? That's why you kissed me?"
“Don't run away, senpai. Please answer me."
"How can I escape if you hold my hand like this?"
"Good. Then what's your answer?"
Arisu chuckled softly as Usaka forced him, that attitude didn't change either. Arisu actually felt a little disappointed that Usaka said that. Usaka kissed him only because his junior wanted to know his answer, so not because he felt anything in the kiss. Just like what they did in the past where Usaka did something just to said that he wasn't the sun.
There was something inside Arisu that was disappointed about Usaka’s action. He thought that Usaka would think the kiss was special, but in fact it seemed didn’t had any effect to him. Like the kiss was only done to keep him quiet; in fact he was remain silent and didn’t leave Usaka.
"I remember."
"Then why are you here? Why did you have to appear in front of me?”
"...Usa, if you had to choose between sugar and salt, which would you choose?"
"Why we talk about that?"
"I want to know."
Is this one of Arisu's nonsense again? Usaka took a deep breath and looked intently at the man in front of him. "Salt."
“Ah, as expected. I choose sugar because it's sweet...”
"Then what does that mean?"
“It means that we are different, like sugar and salt that have different taste. The differences can’t be equated, which means you don't have to look for the answers as to asking why it's different, they all have their own function."
Usaka had expected that Arisu wouldn’t answer his question again. Especially when he hearing the words just now, which seemed to mean that he didn't need to ask for reasons about himself. Irritating. Again, Arisu didn't say anything, even though he wanted to find out why Arisu had come here again.
“It's up to you, senpai. I thought this time you would answer my question.”
“Why do you keep on finding out about how me answering your question?”
“Because−”
Before Usaka could finish his words, Arisu approached and kissed Usaka’s cheek then handed him a business card. What the hell? He didn't predict Arisu's actions at all. The older man's smile only to irritated Usaka because Usaka didn't get any answer.
"This is a gift for you. This is where I currently live.”
"A name card?"
"Yes. Like I said before, if you want my music just say so. I'll give you a good price."
Arisu kept his distance and immediately left Usaka with the small hum. The door closed and Usaka was completely alone as he stared at the business card he received. For some reason he felt strange because his senior showed himself the place where he lived, but there was someone else's name on the business card.
"Sun Fang... Matthew Lutwidge."
Was this person called Matthew Lutwidge in control of Arisu right now? In that name card it seemed that this person was Arisu's manager, it means that he had to make an offer directly to the manager so he can process this offer further. What a smart move from his senior, Usaka admitted that Arisu could read his movements. But on the one hand, he hates Arisu who seems to know his intentions, by doing this like he is only given one choice to accept the offer. Even if Usaka refuses, he also finds it will be difficult to find someone else. Usaka took his cigarette once again and lit it, he exhaled the smoke and his eyes returned to the sky. Even though the stars are few tonight, they still shine beautifully.
'Just like him, huh.'
"I will accept your offer." In the end Usaka would accept Arisu's offer and would start discussing it with his senior manager.
While Arisu who was on his way back to his place occasionally stopped his steps and looked at the sky tonight, the stars in the sky may not be so many but still shine brightly. A faint smile appeared on his face and Arisu stepped back while humming.
'I hope you see the stars tonight, Usa.'
