Elena sat at the kitchen table with Everly who was eating breakfast while Leon looked through his phone “How did it go last night?” Elena asked gaining Leon’s attention “It went great, we’re planning on going on another date,” Leon replied with a bright smile. “That’s great dad,” Elena said returning the smile “Thanks to you,” Leon said looking at Elena who chuckled.
“I didn’t do much,” Elena said making Leon chuckle “Yes you did, if it wasn’t for you, I would have never had the courage to ask him out,” Leon said making Elena laugh “Guess I gave you that extra push you needed,” Elena replied looking at her father. “Yeah, you did,” Leon said as he put his phone down and began eating his breakfast “Well, I’m about to head out,” Elena said earning a nod from Leon and a whine from Everly making Leon and Elena laugh.
“I’ll be back in a few days,” Elena said looking at her sister who pouted “I’ll leave Ponyta under dad’s control, and if you behave he may let you play with Ponyta for a little while,” Elena said taking out Ponyta’s Pokeball. “Fine,” Everly said still pouting as Elena gave her father Ponyta’s Pokeball, “Good luck princess,” Leon said as he looked at his daughter who was on the elevator “Thanks dad, I’ll see you in a few days,” Elena replied as the elevator doors closed.
Elena walked through the mine that connected Hulbury to Motostoke and began to search for Pokemon while she received some messages from her father telling her he was on his way to Spikemuth to catch the Pokemon she needed from that area. Elena sat down at the small campfire she had built while her Pokemon ran after each other making Elena smile as she looked at her phone for what felt like the hundredth time that day seeing all the messages she had sent to her father noting that she never got a response.
“I hope he’s ok,” Elena said looking at the phone while her Corviknight flew down to her and landed next to her, and began to nudge his face onto hers making her smile “Thanks Corviknight,” Elena said patting Corviknight’s head. Elena woke up to the sound of her phone ringing in which she grabbed her phone and answered, not bothering to look at the caller ID.
“Hello,” Elena answered in her sleepy voice “Elena, I’m sorry to wake you, but I need to know where you’re at,” Hop said through the phone “I’m in the wild area,” Elena said sitting up on her bed. “What’s going on?” Elena asked looking towards her Garchomp who stared back at her with curiosity “There’s been an accident,” Hop said “Accident?” Elena asked “Elena, Milo found your dad, he’s in the hospital,” Hop said too which Elena let go of her phone allowing Rotom to float around as Garchomp stared at his trainer with worry.
“Elena, I need you to come to the hospital, we believe Raihan may have something to do with this,” Hop said “Ok, I’ll be there shortly,” Elena replied then hung up and began to pack her things. Elena walked into the hospital and looked around until she spotted her uncle who was walking towards her “What happened?” Elena asked as tears began to fall.
“He’s alright Elena, unresponsive, but alive,” Hop said as he brought Elena into a hug “What happened, what happened,” Elena repeated as Hop held her tightly allowing her to cry as the hospital staff looked at her with sad eyes. “He’s going to be ok Elena, he’s a strong person,” Hop said letting out a few tears of his own “Come on, let’s go see him,” Hop said too which Elena nodded her head and followed Hop towards her father’s room.
“Hey there sweety,” her grandmother greeted as she brought her into a hug which she accepted as she looked towards her dad and walked towards him slowly looking at his face that was completely bruised. “Doctor’s said he should wake up tomorrow morning,” Hop said in which Elena nodded as she laid her head on her father’s chest and closed her eyes while the others stared at Elena with a frown.
“Elena, do you want to go home with your uncle for today?” Elena’s grandmother asked in which Elena nodded her head “I want to stay here,” Elena said looking towards the others who nodded. “Well, call us if you need anything, sweety,” Elena’s grandmother said in which Elena nodded and moved a chair to sit next to her father while the others left the room leaving Elena alone with her father.
“Please wake up soon dad,” Elena said as she laid her head on the bed and closed her eyes, Elena woke up the next morning to someone running their hand through her hair “Morning princess,” Leon said in a low tone. Elena looked up and saw her father look at her with a small smile “What happened?” Elena immediately asked in which Leon looked away “Don’t worry about it, princess,” Leon said with a small smile.
“Well, can you at least tell me if you’re feeling any pain so I can get the doctor,” Elena said in which Leon chuckled “Slight pain, nothing too serious,” Leon said “I’m still getting the doctor,” Elena said making Leon smile. Elena looked at the doctor who examined her father “You should recover within a month or so,” the doctor said as she looked at Elena then at Leon “Elena, do you mind going outside for a minute, call grandma and the others and tell them I’m awake,” Leon said in which Elena nodded.
Elena walked back into the room after making some calls and looked towards her father who seemed on the verge of tears “I’m sorry chairman,” the doctor said as she looked towards Elena and walked up to her “Keep a close eye on him,” the doctor whispered into Elena’s ear making her nod her head.
“You doing ok?” Elena asked as she walked up to her father who let some tears fall from his eyes “I’m ok, where’s Milo? Is he coming?” Leon asked in which Elena nodded “Yes, he’s on his way,” Elena said “I want to see him,” Leon said as he gripped the sheets. “Knock knock,” Milo said as he slowly entered the room “Hey Milo, he really wanted to see you, I’ll just leave you two alone,” Elena said as she walked out of the room leaving Milo and Leon alone.
“What’s wrong darling?” Milo asked sitting on the chair that Elena left near her father’s bed “Milo, I don’t know how to tell you…” Leon trailed off as he let more tears fall freely in which Milo immediately brought him into a hug. “What’s wrong Leon, you can tell me anything,” Milo said as Leon continued to cry “I-I don’t want to lose you,” Leon said as he gripped Milo shirt tightly “Now why would you be afraid of losing me, just tell me what happened,” Milo said in which Leon closed his eyes.
“I-I was raped,” Leon said as he buried his face into Milo’s chest afraid to look at him “And you think that would change how I see you?” Milo asked making Leon look up at Milo “I still love you, no matter what Leon,” Milo said with a bright smile. “R-Really?” Leon asked in which Milo connected their lips, “Of course Leon,” Milo said once he broke away from the kiss “Thank you,” Leon said as he leaned his head on Milo’s chest “We should allow your daughter to come in, and I do believe Everly was also outside,” Milo said in which Leon nodded in agreement.
