Chapter Text
"The sun! My Lord, it has changed!" Palkia gasped, staring into the sky that was painted blood red, "What has happened?"
Shaymin tucked her body into a leafy ball, "It looks like an orange, and an evil one at that."
"I"ve never seen this happen before." Volcanion confessed, flattening his ears.
"Deoxys, you"re from space. Tell us what"s going on." Regieleki pestered the virus who two was in awe.
Deoxys dropped her shoulders, "While being extraterrestrial is my thing, I ain"t ever seen this kind of phenomenon occur."
Thundurus grounded his teeth, "No matter how much I try to look away, it lures in my gaze." He grunted nervously, "It"s intoxicating."
"It"s an eclipse." Regidrago spoke up, "When the moon passes by the sun and obscures it."
"But why has it happened?" Latios asked.
The golem shrugged, "That I can"t answer."
"Does this have something to do with Meester?" Regice queried Regigigas.
"I"m not sure." He responded, "Hell, I don"t even know where Arceus is."
"He"s somewhere around here, and I wouldn"t be surprised if he was the one who caused this in the first place." Mew frowned.
Xerneas snarled, "Great. First I come back to this, and now we"re on the verge of death."
"Death is an overstatement" Cobalion assured.
"How do you know?" Tapu Lele argued, holding onto Tapu Fini who expressed no concern whatsoever, "None of us are even sure if what"s happening, let alone you."
"Now, listen everyone." Dialga ordered, slamming down her powerful green tail to order silence, "If this truly is Meester"s doing, then we must remain silent, it is unknown if he knows our current whereabouts."
Pheromosa folded her skinny arms, "What"s harm in a little gossip?"
"Everything." The lizard answered monotonely.
Nihilego scoffed, "With that watchful eye of his? Surely not. If anything, we should be the ones turning ourselves in. This is game over."
"Especially since eclipses don"t happen randomly." Regidrago added, "Obviously, this isn"t a natural occurrence."
"We"re going to die, were going to die.." Blacephalon hyperventilated, holding his forehead in his palms.
Guzzlord snatched the jester up from the ground and held him by his scruff, "Pull yourself together. If you don"t act brave then you never will be, mate. We must have courage."
Darkrai squinted his pupils, "I think I"ve figured out what"s going on, here. Meester knows that we would be fearful of such an occurrence, so he"d be expecting us to wander outside for a better look, yes?"
"Maybe." Cresselia answered, rubbing her hands together as she observed the mythical"s frantic pacing, "But what does that have to do with anything?"
"Don"t you see? Meester wants to catch us off guard." The ghost explained, "So he can finish whatever the hell he has started."
Kantonian Articuno shook her frosty face, "Didn"t he specifically say that he"s after Regigigas?"
"No, Darkrai has a point." Landorus joined in, "As we know, Meester"s entire plan other than obviously torturing us is unknow. What may be one way, may actually be the other."
"What if he wants to take us to the Distortion World for all eternity?" Gulped Tapu Bulu.
Manaphy wiped sweat from her antennae, "Then there"s nothing that we can do other than rely on Arceus to defend us, which probably won"t happen."
Keldeo scratched at the ground, "All Pokémon have their weaknesses, we just need to find his."
Yveltal ruffled the white scarf of feathers around his neck, "What could possibly take Meester down, weaken him, or even kill him?"
"Type advantages, if you"re familiar with them." Celesteela said smartly, "He"s a ghost type, which deals the most damage from dark and, well, ghost."
"And since he"s part dragon as well, fairy, ice, and other dragon type moves also damage him." Stakataka added on.
Registeel held up a finger, "Do you remember when Meester and Arceus dueled all those days ago and Arceus shot a hyper beam at him? It didn"t make contact since normal types are untouched by ghost type moves, but somehow, Meester still fell down."
Kantonian Zapdos widened his eyes, "Gosh kid, you"re right. Could he have been faking, perhaps?"
Deoxys growled, "Nobody can fake an injury like that, didn"t you see the smoke?"
"Meester could." Regieleki corrected, "The smoke didn"t have to be from impact, maybe from the heat of the move, and he just got caught in the crossfire.",
"That"s...actually...a really smart answer." Regirock said, taking his time to rethink everything, "Wow, Regieleki, for once you say something that isn"t stupid."
Hoopa rubbed his chin, smoothing down his brown beard, "Brothers and sisters, I don"t know what I"ve been told, but it sounds like we can do something about Meester ourselves without the help of Arceus."
"Are you implying that we fight him!?" Uxie gasped, holding back the urge to open her eyes, "Are you insane!?"
"No, but with careful planning and organization, we can manage this." Tornadus replied, his light green skin shining in the sun like fresh grass.
Buzzwole tapped at his stinger, "Hopefully we beasts are included, chico del tiempo?"
"And if he pulls out the portal to the Distortion World, then what"s going to happen?" Diancie retorted.
"There"s one thing I"m not doing, and it"s dying while fighting." Deoxys said, "I"ve always tried to act like I"ve got common sense around other Pokémon, and this one time I"ll do that."
Virizion cocked her head, "Dying while fighting is a little bit too much, but it shows strength."
The virus held out a tentacle, "Well obviously, I have none. But what gemstone princess said, he"s basically got the portal to hell in his grasp."
"I"m not fighting him either." Melmetal closed his single eye, "And even if we all team up and do so, one of us will probably die along the way."
Ho-Oh spread his orange and white wings, "Let Lugia do it, he"s very bulky."
"I hate you." The psychic bird snapped back.
Zacian stepped forward alongside Zamazenta, holding up her sword, "What about us? We"re knights for heaven"s sake!"
Regieleki jumped in place, "Regidrago, what about your laser? Why can"t you use that to teach Meester a lesson?"
The dragon golem shook his head, "Don"t ever mention my laser."
Galarian Zapdos flexed her powerful legs, "Let Dialga do it! She"s part steel, which doesn"t deal much damage from dragon types?"
"What about Eternatus? He"s the largest one here" Mewtwo suggested.
Calyrex held a paw to his forehead, "We can"t just rely on him for protection!"
"Enough!" Regigigas silenced loudly, "We"re getting nowhere with all of this bickering. In times like these, all of us need to put our heads together and agree on something."
"And by golly, and do you need to."
Whipping their heads around simultaneously to face the deep voice, everyone recoiled at the sight of a long serpentine shadow. It was Meester.
Heatran chattered their teeth, "Damnit, he heard us."
"What do you want, you bastard?" Palkia roared, his eyes bloodshot and full of hatred.
"Heatran"s right, I heard everything, especially the parts about wanting to duel me." He chuckled evily, "If it makes you feel better, I wouldn"t dare and fight any one of you, oh of course not. No, no, no." In his tone lingered a soothing tone.
Zygarde balled his fists, "You may not want to, but we most definitely do."
Meester smirked, "Nevermind that for now, I"ve come to talk about yesterday. Good job. Honestly, I am truly impressed. It really shows that you are prepared for what lies ahead."
"What lies ahead?" Zeraora panted in fear.
"Oh, you haven"t heard? The iceberg-breaking was only a simple test." Explained Meester, "There are much more challenges that lie ahead, but if you keep up the teamwork they"ll all pass smoothly."
"You son of a bitch!" Regigigas cursed at the dragon, "I knew that it was too good to be true!"
Guzzlord sighed, "Let it go, purple face, this is Meester who we are dealing with. It was expected."
The titan shook his head in disbelief, "No, I will not let you take advantage of us any lomger!"
"Temper, temper, don"t want to set a bad example for your little ones, now don"t you?" Meester teased with a slow and creeping smile, "Besides, what can you do? I am in full control, I can pollute the sun and then it red, not you. I can call on the darkness to dance along with me, not you."
"Your bragging of power makes you strong only on the outside." Regigigas said coldly, "But on the inside you are weak and rely on your loud voice to drown out everyone else. Why can"t you view something in a positive light, if only for once?"
"Oh, I wish to." The ghost lizard answered, "But this cycle prevents me from doing so."
Regigigas stepped closer, "There is no cycle, only love. Have you ever heard the saying claiming that it makes the world go around? Hell, haven"t you noticed all of us? We may have been, and still are, in a bad position, but we show care and warmth towards each other. It"s the little things, Meester, and even though we may face hard times, there is more to life than only its faults. It"s not an easy world, but we can shake our mind free from that mindset with something simple, like tenderness.
Meester flapped his spiky, near-invisible wings, "Keep that wonderful speech to yourself. Love is not on my radar."
The titan tugged the lizard by the skin on his chest and pulled him close, "Do you know how to settle things? Because right now, I"m tired of your actions."
"Do catch yourself, old friend. You wouldn"t be so foolish as to fight me, now would you?" Meester chuckled.
"If it stops all of the madness that you"re causing, then..." Regigigas took a deep breathe before continuing, "...then yes, without a doubt."
A chorus of gasps rang throughout the atmosphere like church bells.
Raikou"s mouth fell open, "Are you insane? You can"t take him on alone, you"ll get slaughtered for sure!"
Lunala agreed, "And if that happens, who will guide us? Take care of your little ones?"
"She"s right, I can"t be an orphan!" Regieleki cried.
"Arceus will." The purple golem said.
Kyurem swiped his arm to object his comment, "Him? He can"t even take care of himself!"
"...And most certainly be such a good leader like you." Kantonian Moltres finished.
Mew sighed, "Frankly, I may have to agree."
Regigigas stared down at his moss-covered legs, "I"m sorry, but there"s no other way. Meester wants us dead. The only way out of this is for the one who he hates the most to fight him and set everyone free, and that someone is me."
Dialga closed her eyes, "Brother, you cannot lie to us, is this true?" Her voice contained hardly any emotion.
"Precisely." The tan and blue-striped dragon confirmed.
For a heartbeat, there were no words spoken, not even a sound. Throats constricted, sweat poured, tears welled, there was no easy escape from the torture that plagued them all.
Ho-Oh blew hot smoke from his throat, "Just be careful. Watch Meester"s weak spots and study his moves and maybe you"ll have a chance."
"You can do it, Regigigas, just how you pulled Guzzlord out of that cracked ice." Registeel encouraged.
Meester waved around his forked tongue, "Very well then, so be it. Regigigas, puller of continents and creator of the other legendary titans, I challenge you to a duel to the death." His last words curdled bile.
"So be it." The golem answered.
Phione hugged Manaphy, "So Regigigas is really going to do it?"
"I"m afraid so." The water drifting mythical admitted.
"Come now, let us head outside." Pheromosa sulked, holding Buzzwole"s hand, "Can"t afford to waste the only shelter that we have right now."
Treading on despair like tightropes, each legendary and mythical alike felt their heart sink watching Regigigas and Meester eye eachother hatefully, only standing inches apart as cold breeze assaulted their faces.
Regigigas inclined, "Let it begin."
Manaphy rubbed fresh snowflakes off her skin, ready to finish something that was once started. Melody escaped her lips as the two legendaries readied their fires.
"Ramble on, chug along.
And if the beat stops thumping, man,
Then something"s wrong."
With an ear-piercing roar, Meester regurgitated a dark pulse from the depths of his gullet, the unusual beam pitch black and swarming with impurity, hitting Regigigas on his side with an audible slam. But fortunately this did not injure the former, but gave him an opportunity to quickly react and crack the ground with an earth power.
"Ignore it son, it"s just a song."
Meester winced as the hardened ground sliced his face like blades, but pulled through enough to blast a ferocious thunderbolt.
"But I can see your white-knuckled hand from holding on."
Regigigas felt as if every inch of his body had fallen into a frying pan that had started searing, an unbearable burning sensation overcoming him as electricity pulsed through his veins. Because of this he was drastically vulnerable. Taking this advantage by the hand, Meester promptly turned his lower body hard as steel and bashed the golem"s leg with an iron tail.
"So lately I, wonder why, we rely, on the sure thing,
It"s too damn comforting."
But Regigigas did not fall, rather only propelled himself backwards so that he could better grasp the dragon that he clashed with. Not even the agony striking his knee could halt him. The titan attempted to retaliate with a powerful payback, but was stopped as Meester flung forward, colliding with him painfully in an outrage, attempting to dodge fatigue.
"Stay alive, overdrive, until we find something new,
To keep the pulse alive in you."
Regigigas yelped as his body was brutally torn by Meester"s pointed wings, teeth, and whatever could be used as a violent physical attack. He swung his body around, trying to free himself from the lizard"s grip. Fortunately, the giant managed to release his arm and grab Meester by the throat, slamming his face against his in a zen headbutt that chipped some of the dragon"s silver, facial plated armor away.
"So many angles, so many lines,"
Meester"s head spun like a top, but eventually shook away the blinding dizziness and clamped his teeth down on Regigigas" tender skin like a sweet treat, causing the aforementioned to desperately flail his arm around.
"So many ways to see the sunrise."
Regidrago gulped, "He"s really taking a beating."
Registeel folded his arms, "He can do it."
Then, Regigigas had an idea that shone brighter than a lightbulb"s glow. The legendary leaned his body forward and walked in a slight, stumbling motion, preparing a heavy slam. With no warning, he threw both his arm and shoulder onto the ground, engulfing Meester between his flesh, puffs of dust, and frozen soil.
"…"
Zygarde blinked, "My Lord, is he down?" And that was a query which everyone else shared. As the billowing obscurity cleared, it revealed quite an unusual image. Meester was nowhere in sight, and only the field"s emptiness could be seen. Everyone felt their thumping heartbeats slow, and the ringing in their ears get louder.
Shaymin scurried behind Tapu Koko, observing a black, sooty portal appear on the snow next to Regigigas" trembling legs of whom did not notice. She attempted to shout a warning as it grew bigger, but soon as the meadow-frolicking rodent did so, Meester had arisen from the distorted wormhole in the form of a shadowy mass and lashed out viciously.
Mewtwo snapped a finger, "Clever! Covering up his tracks in the appearance of a loss."
Regigigas gasped as the ghostly lizard lashed out and toppled him, snapping his jaws madly. He struggled, straining his bones as Meester"s ferocious force seemingly crushed his lungs. The dragon licked his lips and engulfed his mind in a red light, it was aura sphere.
"Give up?" The shining Giratina snickered, sharp fangs coming eerily close to his opponent"s face.
"We"re just getting started." Regigigas scoffed, sweat flowing down his face as if he stood under a waterfall. In the blink of an eye, several waves of fighting power came hurling at him. The titan managed to pull away and flinch just in time as they scattered randomly, but one sneakily caught him by surprise and rammed into his upper body.
"Anything but that!" Tapu Lele exclaimed, hearing her leader scream in pain, "It"s super effective!"
Meester smiled provocatively as Regigigas rolled on the ground in pure agony feeling the weight of the world seemingly crash down on his feeble figure. But that didn"t stop him from attempting to regain footing. Grasping at the soil, he slowly pushed his knees upright, shoulders un-slouching; despite being overtaken by pain, the golem did not give up.
"Had enough?" The ghostly lizard squinted.
Regigigas shook his head, "Of course not." With that he jumped forward, harnessing the power of ice between his palms, freezing cold just like the frosty lands of the tundra, and threw his entire weight onto Meester who did not react in time with a powerful avalanche.
The dragon roared loudly as massive shards of ice battered his skin like painful rain, more damaging than any other move he had ever been struck with. Wiggling out of the titan"s grip and shaking off the residual ice, Meester widened his maw and produced a bright light of green matter, containing chlorophyll and chips of grass in an energy ball, that made flew at Regigigas" neck.
Regigigas aggressively brushed away the greenish material, for he had enough. Anger boiled in his throat like a kettle, growing hotter and hotter.
Guzzlord balled his fists, "You have this purple face, kick his ass."
In a black, aura-mocking coat, Regigigas took a step back and spun his body around violently. Meester wanted to fly away, but such precision kept his gaze begging for more. That"s why, as soon as it started, Regigigas collided with his enemy in a ruthless darkest lariat.
Everyone went silent, watching and feeling the atmosphere shake as the two legendaries were soon brought to the ground, both Regigigas and Meester. Dust engulfed the two, making it hard to spot any injuries.
"Unbelievable." Palkia mouthed, although he did not speak directly, "Has it been a tie?" And indeed it was, on the way down, Meester had forcibly sunk his teeth down into the golem"s neck with brute force hard enough to tear skin.
"Come on!" Regieleki exclaimed, "We have to help him!" He shouted, sprinting over to his creator faster than a motivated Ninjask.
As his vision focused on anything but the cold fog, Regieleki spotted the titan, laying face down, with Meester"s wounded and ragged body underneath him, twitching slightly.
"Come on." The golem of electricity pestered, nudging at his craftsman"s shoulders tenderly, "You must get up, you need to."
"Brother." Regidrago cooed, "Well, I don"t think Regigigas is what you would call, well, conscious."
"That"s just great." Regieleki spat back, feeling tears well in his pinkish "eyes."
Spectrier felt guilt override all of his pleasures, "Is he breathing?" He asked, "We must check for that, it"s the most important."
"I think he is." Suicune nodded, peering over Regigigas shoulder and resting her head in a position where his lungs could be seen inflating and deflating like balloons.
"Keep your fears at bay." An echoing voice erupted from the distance, "It is all over now." As the legendaries and mythicals turned towards the twisted sunset, in the red shadows stood a horse shaped figure with one hoof raised slightly, it was Arceus.
Xerneas blinked in disbelief, "My stars."
"I have seen everything." The God explained, "I am aware of the tie between Meester and Regigigas, but I will not give my full judgement on that matter. From the moment this started, I wanted to see how far Regigigas could push his limits, his wits, his courage." He paused to stare, "And look where that has gotten him, strength held his hand the entire way. He has proven himself a changed heart, and for that I am proud."
Regice hugged her father"s arm tightly, "I"m glad." She smiled by darkening her lights, "But, why is that necessary?"
The horse drooped his head, "That is something that I cannot answer at this moment, for now, we must focus on the future that lies ahead."
Poipole held his tail in his arms like a blanket, "What will become of Meester?" He asked.
Arceus looked down at the dragon"s limp figure, and with one single hoof, dragged him from under Regigigas" heavy body. His patterned skin was covered in bruises, and small jolts of dark matter surrounded his upper chest. But something was different, his origin form was no longer in tact, as the Griseous Orb had detached from his soul and rolled somewhere onto the ground.
"..Argh" Meester coughed, spitting up the draconic soot that lingered in his chest. The lizard rolled back his bloodshot eyes, and stared at the Original One in shame and solitude.
"Help Regigigas." Arceus demanded the others. Kneeling down slowly, the horse stared at his evil-bound child in disappointment, "You were so timid all those years ago. So kind and loyal, where has such respect gone?"
Meester grinned slightly, aware of his current position, "Lost in the cycle of life."
"You never learn." Arceus sighed, "And for that, you will be punished with a fate that no black magician will ever want to wish upon their foes." Speaking that judgement, the horse"s eyes glowed bright purple as he produced a slit in the time-space"s membrane. It was a portal that shined of unnerving black, it was the wormhole to the Distortion World.
"Meester." A firm voice called without any feeling hidden beneath its tone, it was Regigigas, the once fallen, standing tall and proud, "Although you have caused me and everyone else great suffering, I want to say that I forgive you. Something like this may be a little strange, but we can"t keep hate in our hearts forever, we must let things go. And for that, your actions will be freed from my hate conscience."
But the dragon did not respond, rather extended his jaws full of teeth upward in a demonic smile, and began to cackle. It was unsure if this was in mockery, or simple, unbelievable, gratitude. With a kick from Arceus, Meester was shoved into the portal, his tail the last thing to vanish, never to be seen again. Waving his head around to control the wormhole"s movements, the stallion made a zipper like pattern over its presentation, locking it from further use. Meester had been permanently casted away into hell"s grasp.
Groudon nodded, "And that"s that." He closed his green eyes, handing the orb over to Arceus, "Thank you, Regigigas."
"Don"t just thank me." The purple faced legendary replied, "Thank Jirachi, without him searching for me none of this would have happened." He pointed to the blushing mythical.
The steel wishmaker shrugged, "Well, maybe I"ll take some of the credit." He beamed, "So, where will we carry on from here?"
"We try to fix and regain the things that we have lost." Regigigas explained, "But let us not hurry nor rush, for we have alot of time on our hands."
Stakataka inclined, "Happy ending, but what about us? I guess we"re stuck here now, huh?"
Arceus stared down at the soil, "Meester is no longer here, so his power is now irrelevant." Raising his tail, the horse stood on two legs in a proud stance, and produced a golden ring that swirled around like a jet"s engine. With a quiet neigh to Palkia as a signal, the pink dragon joined in, roaring like the depths of space that added an extra linking light to the ring. It grew bigger and bigger, eventually morphing into an Ultra Wormhole, albeit the very first one that the beasts had arrived in that very night.
"It worked!" Dialga gasped happily, "Palkia, you have done it."
The spacial lizard blew a hot breath, "It is about time."
Blacephalon folded his arms and turned to Poipole, "Ready to see your mother again, son?"
"Must I have to go back?" The white and yellow poison dragon whimpered, "Even though it"s kind of a mess, this place is so much fun. All of the new Pokémon that we have met."
Guzzlord snapped his flailing tongues shut, "Why of course, wee nipper, I bet your mother is worried sick already, can"t keep her waiting, can you?"
"I guess not." Poipole admitted, "I"ll do it, just for mother."
Buzzwole wiped sweat off his brow, "Well now that this is over, there"s something that I"ve been meaning to do for a long time." The insect stood still for a moment, then collapsed backwards, hitting the ground audibly as he was no longer conscious.
Necrozma gasped, "Oh, my."
Xurkitree waved his blue, wire lined arms, "Don"t worry, he"s fine."
"Palkia, Dialga, hopefully we can meet again?" Celesteela queried, as everyone began to head for the wormhole that was their pathway to victory.
"The future is a mystery." Palkia waved his tail.
"Hopefully it"s not in the same manner as this." Nihilego prayed out loud, dragging Buzzwole"s temporarily limp body by the antennae.
Kartana flew with the wind, "!srekcus ,retaL"
With his eyes glowing bright aquamarine, Guzzlord put one foot into the portal and kept one out, exposed to the cold, "Goodbye." He managed to spit, choked up. He eyed Regigigas, Arceus, everyone, and the vast field they stood in.
"And cheers, purple face." He smiled. With one last nod, he and the other beasts had vanished, home safe.
Genesect slouched, "I"ll miss those Pokémon."
"Yeah, but what are we going to do about this?" Kantonian Articuno outstretched her wings and pointed to the rotten valley covered in stale snow, "Certainly, we can"t continue to live in these conditions."
Tapu Lele fluttered her eyelashes, "Didn"t you hear what Arceus said earlier? Since Meester is no longer in authority, we can do whatever we please. Ready, Shaymin?"
Shaking out her flower scented pelt, the meadow hedgehog illuminated her eyes green as she released her fresh power, making small stalks of sweet grass appear, then several dozen, a few dandelions, and before anybody knew it, an entire field of spring grass had overtaken the once depressing snow, spreading like a useful parasite. It all looked so beautiful, even better than how it once had before.
Adding to the scenery, Arceus levitated and within a flash, causing the sun to shine brighter than it had ever done before, a new dawn had knocked.
Tweester marveled, "It"s gorgeous."
"A little bit too exciting for my tastes of basking, but yes, my eyes are eating candy." Marshadow said.
"See, Cresselia? What did I tell you?" Darkrai nudged, "All good things come in the end."
The dark purple feathered swan cocked her head, "You never said that?"
"Just go with the flow."
Regirock plucked a flower from the ground, "I don"t want to spoil this lovely moment, but don"t we have to go back home eh, Regigigas?"
"That"s right!" The purple golem remembered, "Somebody has to take care of that house."
Hoopa licked his teeth, "Come on brother, won"t you stay? Things were just starting to lighten up."
"Home?" Mew asked curiously.
Regigigas nodded, "The other dimension that I came from was also my home." He replied, "Leaving it alone after so many years, is... heartbreaking."
"Don"t leave, Regigigas!" Phione frowned, burying his face into Manaphy"s chest.
"I"m afraid that I must."
Kyogre swallowed the water pooling in her mouth, "I under, under, under, understand." She stuttered, "But please, come back to visit."
"Why wouldn"t we?" Registeel spoke for Regigigas, "This place is enticing from beginning to end."
Jirachi rubbed his eyes, "The portal is on hand." He assured, displaying the object, "But I"m not sure if it still works." Before he could say any more, Arceus sliced the corrosion with his bent horn and summoned another bright wormhole, a second way back.
"I guess this is the chapter"s end." Magearna sighed, twitching her ears.
Regigigas inhaled, "For now. While this place is my true home, we all must take care of the things that moving on have produced." He went to take his children by the hand, but was stopped by Palkia.
"Regigigas, my dear friend." The lizard said, his pearl shining rose, "For all you have done, I have taken you for granted, I do admit." He apologized, "But being with you over the past few days has made me realize that we cannot stick onto things that have made us upset, we must carry on. And that is why, Regigigas, I forgive you." He closed his eyes and embraced the golem in a warm hug to whom gladly returned, "Always."
"We forgive you, Regigigas." They all chanted, meaning every word.
"Take care of yourself, man." Hoopa smiled through tusks, "And next time you see me, I promise that I won"t be unbound."
Regigigas snickered, "I"ll take your word." He eyed his creations, and Arceus, giving the former a pleased look, "Come on now, it"s getting late."
"Goodbye!" Deoxys waved her morphed arm.
"Later, good buddy." Jirachi whispered, wiping away an tear.
And with that they were gone, keeping hope alive.
"Brothers and sisters, Pokémon all. In this world we have challenges of which we must overcome. It may be hard to do so, but keeping love in our hearts always will provide us a good start. And if we remember that, we will be alright, indeed."
_______________
"Hey, so, why did you guys need me again?"
"Well Xerneas, to heal Cresselia"s wounds, but she doesn"t need that right now."
"Oh, damnit."
